Crosshair and Hunter being so in tune that they can accurately figure out each other’s most deeply held regrets without having a single real conversation and then exclusively using that knowledge to make each other angry is the realest thing this whole episode

I actually can’t stop thinking about how wrecker was the only one out there when omega and crosshair arrive. how he said he wasn’t even sure omega’s message was real. did hunter have to take that moment to compose himself, do you think? did wrecker volunteer to go out and wait and handle whatever happened because he knew if hunter got his hopes up and they were wrong it would have crushed him????

Anidala fix-it fics are soothing and all but also so incredibly OOC

i feel like this episode showed that hunter was the closest to cross out of all of the bad batch. sure, hunter was their leader, and a lot of his issues and regret and pain comes from being in that position and having that responsibility, but he's hurting so much worse, because of all that happened with cross, than the others. its so personal to him and it shows.
