Pls be aware of spoilers! I know its only been a day but I don't want to spoil anyone if they haven't watched
I'm making a post to rant about the one thing that's been bugging me since the finale (it's been a day, I'm struggling). I was wholeheartedly on the Tech is CX-2 train but hopped off it near the end of the season, I decided to just accept the fact he might be dead. I mean, anything CX-2 does could be attributed to any other clone, like the other assassins are: for example, here is the sword dual welding assassin! He's just a clone, all of the assassins could be like this
There's also the whole CX-2 not following Wolffe's orders, etc etc. They were manipulated and tortured into acting and thinking this way, they're meant to be glorifications of clone squad 99.
But of all the things in season 3. The one little part that keeps me up at night is the Phee scene. It's a 2 minute scene that does not need to be there. You could have CX-2 contacting Hemlock/Scorch whoever after infiltrating her ship. It didn't have to be shown. But it is. And its the one wrench in the train that just completely derails my denials of Tech being CX-2
In my absolute opinion, I think it was best they didn't show his identity. As much as I would have loved to see Tech, it felt right just having CX-2 die and his true identity concealed. Tech sacrificed himself to save the others, it would be messed up to bring him back and kill him again. It would oppose plan 99.

One thing about the reunion that I’m so normal about is like. Omega’s close to full-on sobbing when she runs for Hunter. She’s been so brave the entire time she was held at mount tantiss, and that bravery is how she and Crosshair managed to escape, but also she’s still just a kid. A kid who spent months frightened, alone save for a brother in a cell, homesick, and forced to bottle it all up because even a doll to sleep with at night was something she could be punished for. After she had to hold herself together for such a long time, she found her way back to her family, and wrapped up in Hunter’s arms as he murmurs that they never stopped looking for her, it’s finally safe to cry. She doesn’t have to be brave anymore
I actually can’t stop thinking about how wrecker was the only one out there when omega and crosshair arrive. how he said he wasn’t even sure omega’s message was real. did hunter have to take that moment to compose himself, do you think? did wrecker volunteer to go out and wait and handle whatever happened because he knew if hunter got his hopes up and they were wrong it would have crushed him????
Ever since I watched the episode yesterday something was bothering me when the empire came to stop the Zillo beast but i couldn’t put my finger on it, so I did a rewatch and now I know what it was...
The empire knew how to stop the beast right away!
This for me means 2 things:
1. Since they were experimenting on it, they made a contingency plan in case it ever got loose, that way everyone would know what to do and
2. It opens up the possibility that this particular scenario has already happend before
Maybe I’m looking to deep into it but it is something that was bothering me and I just wanted to get it out...

Also, he couldn’t be there for the Ventress fight unless they found a reason to strip him to his blacks, because he’d have a number of shock devices in his pouch and he’d use them before getting into a hand-to-hand with her.
I’m saying they over-powered him and we’re suffering the consequences of it.
The idea that Tech is the shadow clone and he manages to break his programming because he can’t stand listening to Rex and the group not know what a m-count is is one of the most in-character fan theories I’ve ever heard and I can’t stop laughing at the scenarios
You know what would have ended me? Hunter’s last words to Omega being, “Tech would have been so proud.”
It wouldn’t have fully made up for everything else, but I’ve made myself cry just thinking about it.
Instead, Hunter never says his name the entire season.
k so in that starwars.com interview they LITERALLY admit they killed him off for stakes and consequences so.
I def don't feel even a little bit bad about calling this bad writing. it's bury your austistics. Straight. Up.
