This was before Morgana met Launchpad and Gosalyn.

Drake and Morgana are walking to an important S.H.U.S.H meeting, yet the latter notices something is wrong. The mallard vaguely confides about a romantic moment he had with someone (Launchpad) while riding the Ratcatcher. Morgana tries encouraging her friend to go for it.

Drake: I don’t know.

Morgana: Is he cute?

Drake: Yes he is, but I need to focus on my training. I don’t need to be distracted.

Morgana: Yes you should be distracted. Distracted is good. What’s his name?

Drake: Launchpad

Morgana: I like it. And, you know what they say about riding a bike.

Fenton: Who’s getting a bike?

Drake: Nobody.

My Parasyte Maxim Review

I finished PM a few days ago and had a great time watching it. I practically binged the second half of it.

Almost every aspect of the show was great, especially the protagonist. Shinichi was one of best protagonist I’ve seen so far. His path of losing and finding his humanity intrigued me. I think the only problems I had was the last two episodes and the female characters. But these are minor issues compared to the great things the anime did.

I didn’t care much for the last two episodes because I didn’t have much of a connection or intrigue with the villains. People say the villain has to be somewhat as good as the protagonist and Gotou and Uragami weren’t as great characters as Shinichi. The episodes were still good but not as much as some previous episodes.

Next issue was the female characters. I don’t know what I expected from Satomi Murano, Shinichi’s love interest, but I found her kind of bland and her constantly asking Shinichi if he was himself got annoying after a few times. I understand the symbolism, yet it still irked me for a while. Kana was another girl I didn’t like too much. Her obsession with Shinichi and ignoring the dangers of her “gift” was irksome. Her stalking also made me uncomfortable. Though I still felt bad when she died. Lastly, Yuko’s decision to confront Hideo instead of telling her brother what was going on added a bad taste in my mouth for a while. That action felt so out of character since Yuko was being smart when putting the pieces together that Hideo was a parasite. I have to take a break from the show after that episode.

Overall, with minor issues, I consider PM as one of the best anime I’ve watched. It was perfect, though really close.

Gosalyn and Honker are waiting by the side of an empty desert road as her parents are trying to salvage their car(Launchpad somehow crashed).

Gosalyn: Texas is huge.

Honker: 268,581 square miles to be exact. Largest state in the contiguous 48 and the second-most populous. Don’t mess with Texas.

Gosalyn: *rolls her eyes and drinks juice*

Honker: Hey, you want to read? I always do when I’m anxious. *hands book*

Gosalyn: *reads title* “The Magical Mathematics of Quantum Physics.” Ohh. Nope. *hands back book* I’m good. I’ll wait for the movie.

So, @rebellingstagnationblog Geronimo series has been my current obsession for a while now, and @thezoe611 has continued the series with their own really interesting story, Unstoppable.

In the second chapter of the story, there is a long and cute moment of the family talking about GoMax- my favorite ship- having kids. Well, it was more like Launchpad and Goofy gushing over being a respective uncle and grandpa to the kid while Darkwing and Negaduck were threatening Max to not even think about it(we all know those two would gush over the baby).

Anyways, that got me thinking of if Gosalyn and Max can have kids since they are different species, and what their kid would be like. And this is how my GoMax oc child came to be.

I made her a duck instead of a dog because it would be pretty impossible for Gosalyn to have a dog baby(totally not because ducks are easier to draw ha ha).

I gave her some of Max’s qualities like his black hair and buck teeth but they can only be seen when she opens her mouth.

My oc’s personality is a blend of her parents with her being headstrong, active, kind, and a fighter. I would describe her personality as a combo of Yang from RWBY and Cassie Cage from Mortal Kombat.

Also, gave her a prosthetic leg and arm because I wanted to create a character with a physical disability who can kick butt as hard or even harder than someone with all four limbs. She got them from different incidents that I will not talk about until I decide whether I want to write a story for her or not.

Her skills are mostly hand-to-hand combat with her arm shield being used for defense while her gun is for offense when things get crazy. Of course grandpa Negaduck is going to teach her how to handle guns. He wouldn’t be a good one if he didn’t(jk).

She’s a new oc and doesn’t have a name yet but I made dancing one of her hobbies as a reference to the Goofy movies(she’s got the Goof moves). I have some ideas for names like Billie or Zera, but I’m not sold on them right now. Anyone with ideas can comment them below and I’ll pick one.
