I don’t want you to get hurt.” His hand slipped around your waist, pulling you closer to his warm embrace. “You’re worth getting hurt.” He mumbled, probably hoping you wouldn’t hear him, but of course you did. And you’d lie if you said this didn’t make make your insides go crazy. He had this effect on you. He always had.
