I feel like it’s getting more and more dangerous in this city. I mean what if someone tries to rob me at work? It’s the third time for the perpetrator to choose a convenience store.” You looked up, scanning your friends features from the side. I don’t want you to get hurt.” His hand slipped around your waist, pulling you closer to his warm embrace. “You’re worth getting hurt.” He mumbled, probably hoping you wouldn’t hear him, but of course you did. And you’d lie if you said this didn’t make make your insides go crazy. He had this effect on you. He always had.
