Iām just saying, like I spend a lot of time in the library anyway, but with a fanfiction section, I would live there

McCoy: "There's a thin line between being a genius and a complete idiot." McCoy: "Jim and Spock use that line as a jump rope."
TOS headcanon
prompt: would it be too cliche if we matched clothes a little?
images imply x fem!reader, Iāll probably do an x masc!reader next
Spock
Yes, yes it would be
Heāll still do it if itāll make you happy
but heās gonna ask you a bunch of questions about it while you show him possible outfits.
Youāre lucky youāre on shore leave otherwise he would say no, just for the sake of professionalism

Kirk
NO!
Do it, show him all the options!
after this itāll probably become a regular thing
is bouncing up and down the whole time
he loves it even more because it gives him an excuse to be extra clingy
wonāt leave your side because āwithout you the outfit doesnāt make senseā

Bones
heavy sigh
yeah fine, but only because you look so excited about it
if you werenāt on shore leave he would never agree to it
mutters under his breath about how ridiculous this is the whole time
secretly loves it, which becomes not so secret when he says āI get to pick next timeā

Help please!!!

I Wanna Hear You Sing
Spock x gn!reader
ā ļø: none that I can think of
word count: 372
Follow your star let it guide youits been there for millions of years I sauntered into Spockās quarters and the shower was running. Thatās alright, Iāll wait for him. Its light will shine longer truer and stronger I think I can hear Spock talking to himself, not really something I would think of him as doing, but I guess he is the only person here who thinks like he does. I consider this as I lay down on the couch. The water stopped and I could hear him more clearly now. Than all of your worries and fears follow your starlet it lead you Spock is singing, I didnāt know he could or that he liked to, but heās really good at it, I wonder why he doesnāt sing when he plays harp. He walks out of the bathroom, still wet and now in his pyjamas. itās older and wiser than time itās- He looks up to see me on the couch and stops mid verse. āOh, hello, Y/Nā Spock murmurs, now tinted a light shade of green. āPlease donāt stop, I wanna hear you sing. It sounded so prettyā I plead with him, I can see him giving in and he comes to sit on the couch with me. Itās there to inspire your hopes to aim higherthan any old mountain you climb He moves me so that my head is in his lap and begins to rub my shoulder. fools follow rainbows but rainbows disappearwhen the sun warms the earthand the sky grows clear Spock looks down at me briefly before softly pressing a hand to my face and rubbing my cheek with his thumb. fools follow daydreams that soon will be gonebut that faithful old starjust shines on and on I look up at him in pure adoration, Iāve never heard anyone sing like this. follow your star let it show you that troubles seem worse than they are never think of them youāll rise above them if you just follow your star follow follow your star āNow I believe itās time for bed, Tāhyālaā Spock uttered as he began to guide me to bed with a hand on my lower back.

I also donāt like TNG, but itās not because itās bad, itās because I grew up watching TOS and only watching TNG when it was time for bed. Basically TNG puts me to sleep because I associate it with being tucked away for bed

"I think of all the Old Trek (I'm counting from TOS to ENT) TNG is actually the one I enjoyed the least. I genuinely found it the most boring of all. The characters weren't nearly as enjoyable as the other shows. Even VOY was better."
