No No...cause Imagine If During The Bachelor Crossover, When The Women Are Waving At Buck, He Brushes
No No...cause imagine if during the Bachelor crossover, when the women are waving at Buck, he brushes them off and says like 'they aren't really my type...not anymore' ๐๐ someone said that and I'm feeling queasy rn.
But then I thought what if we take it one step further and have Buck and Eddie working together and handling one part of the call (as they do) but Buck is sort of far away and zoned out, and he keeps looking at something.
Eddie who has asked Buck to pass him the 'yadayadaya' for the 3rd time, looks up and sees Buck isn't paying attention. So he's like 'Buck...snap out of it and pass me the 'yadayadaya'. So Buck is like 'Oh sorry' and snaps out of it. They're working then Eddie asks Buck a question twice. When he doesn't answer, he turns to see Buck is once again distracted by something. He follows Buck's gaze to the small crowd where the Bachelor and contestants are standing. Eddie assumes Buck is staring at the women and Jealous!Eddie is starting to wake up. But before he can open his mouth and say sum nasty...he sees Buck following someone with his eyes. And who is that someone if not the BACHELOR HIMSELF!!! ๐
The Bachelor who looks sort of kinda (in my delusions) like Eddie! ๐๐

After the call when they're packing up their gear. Eddie's like 'You were getting some attention from the ladies out there, got any numbers?' and Buck says 'I wasn't interested, they're not really my type.. not anymore'๐ฎโ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ
I can't honestly, I'm making myself unwell at this point๐คก๐คก

Why is it that almost every queer film (not movie...but film) is a tragedy??
Why can't we have beautiful poetic queer films that end well? Why can't we have them get together in the end and live out a beautiful life??
Why is it that at the end of the 'classics' the guy gets the girl and they have a family or get married, but at the end of queer films someone (or everyone) dies or leaves??? It's not fair!
I want to see more films like God's Own Country (2017) I loved this because it was the first film I saw that had a beautiful ending that for once didn't leave me broken on the floor. Please show me poetry in motion, or just something queer that isn't porn with a plot, then show me a happy ending!
While I agree that happy endings can't happen in every movie and for some stories it's literally impossible to have one, can we please see more ' life together with a home and warmth ' endings for queer films. I'm getting so sick of the 'Call me by your name' and the 'Brokeback Mountain' endings out there.
Don't we deserve to have a beautiful end too??
Why must queer films make it seem like it's impossible to make it last? While I think 'porn with a plot' and tragedies have their own space (as they should) I think there needs to be more happy endings in cinema for queers as well. Just like not every film is Romeo and Juliet, not everything needs to be a Blue is the Warmest Colour retelling. Why can't we let the queers have love forever ? Why can't they just be?
If they aren't pining hopelessly after someone who'll never love them, they're catching feelings for people who abandon them eventually, if it's not that then everything in the world is raining down on them and trying to stop them from being together and if by some miracle they overcome that and they fall in love with someone?? ... that person dies 2 fucking months later.
I understand that queers face more resistance than most heteros but come on.....can we please just have some fluff too?? ๐ฅบ
Or maybe it's just me who hasn't been exposed to enough queer cinema idk..
Eddie: *brings Tommy to play basketball*

Eddie: *ignores Buck to talk to Tommy*
Buck @ Tommy:

So Oliver and Ryan can't even talk about Buddie's friendship and their views on it without being accused of 'shameless queerbaiting'.
I love Buddie to death, but leave them alone. Oliver didn't say shit for years because of fans accusing him of queerbaiting when he was just excited about how fans love the character and have their own theories. He's finally opening up again and boom, back are the people with 'this is shamelessy queerbaiting.'
Even if it were, which it really isn't because never did they say Buddie would get together, you think him being careful of his words is shameless? It seems more like he knows how toxic this fandom can be and he doesn't want to deal with people twisting his words like they always do.
And he's not a writer. He doesn't have control over it. So stop blaming the actors! Stop treating them like shit the second someone mentions Buddie
im pre-endorsing whatever petty embarrassing thing buck does in next week's episode because if i was in a tense gay situationship with my baby daddy boy best friend and he started getting obsessed with some guy we've both known for 20 minutes id also do something unspeakable on that basketball court. dont look at him he aint special.
So based on the internet this is the consensus on the atla live action series:
