We need to keep this in mind when we are voting on the 4th. We vote for our futures, their futures, and to make this a enter country and world.

It's not "old" as I had it down. But it felt relevant to tag it like that since it wasn't entirely new and I'd seen the post quite a few times. Sorry if you were partially annoyed by the tag but it just didn't feel that new to me :)

I had been waiting for pride month for quite a while and was quite excited for it. And as it hit June 1st; celebrations everywhere, and people expressing themselves. I just felt detached from all the celebrations since it wasn't much different for me than it was before, still treated like shit at home and a tough time at school. Now it's June 17th, a day that used to be special for me, and I'm barely treated as a human. Sorry for the rant it's just that I view pride month as a safer time for me, but I'm worrying that when the month ends I'll have my safety threatened and be treated even worse. I've always considered helplines, but now I'm almost completely sure I'll be using one. Once again sorry, and I know that we should always be protected and feel safe whether during pride or not, but I just need some reassurance and advice.
