tbh the more i think about it, it really is just a subjective thing. you said he was doing it for a good cause, but some ppl might think his actions weren’t excusable or defendable even so, and it’s the same thing for alexis, i guess. people think she has her reasons as well, and the same way you support him and his growth, ppl feel that way about alexis too.

just viewing some similarities with the situations.

maybe it’s bc we don’t even have a story for her either. it’s easier to understand or side with something you’re more familiar with, like vega. we have no storyline for alexis and i think that would be interesting.

She assaulted Sam and turned him without his consent. Not just without his consent, with a very clear repetitive NO

2. If Sam was a woman, would that make you more inclined to believe in his side of the story instead of defending the assaulter?

No. It does not matter what her intentions were when she turned him, she literally ASSAULTED him and that is not okay no matter what "excuse" or "redemption arc" y'all think she's gonna get

Tell me. If Sam was a woman and Alexis was a man, would you still defend Alexis? If you want to play the gender card so bad then think about that. Why is it so hard for people to believe a male assault victim was assaulted with malicious intent.

Guess what, "She assaulted him because she loved him" is the EXACT SAME excuse you could use with Quinn. But Alexis is a woman right? So hating her automatically makes me misogynistic?

Everyone hates Kody for tricking Freelancer into bridging with him, but when Alexis ALTERS SAM'S ENTIRE LIFE y'all don't even care?

I can understand maybe finding her attractive. What I cannot understand is the will to defend her.

I understand it's a fictional character and I probably shouldn't be this upset by it. But as a male assault victim who was assaulted by a woman, the same exuses y'all use to defend Alexis were used to defend the person who assaulted me.

It makes me genuinely uncomfortable to see people that defend her, whether she's fictional or not, because even if she isn't real these issues are and it effects a shit ton of people.

unknown to cutie, refusing to read people’s minds has drawbacks when you’ve been doing it for so long. as an empowered person, your body becomes used to those feelings and suddenly taking it away —let alone entirely— can cause….trouble.

once cutie and geordi get back together, cutie has really bad migraines, way worse than before. they’re so bad that cutie can’t even heal themselves because they can’t focus enough through the pain.

when they try to sleep, everyone’s thoughts ring in their head. they can literally hear everyone around them. because they’re drifting off and not in full control of their body as they fall asleep, contrary from before they can’t stop themselves from hearing everything. sometimes they have nightmares that are just filled with deafening thoughts. it’s to the point where every so often they’ll wake up screaming from the pain.

they constantly toss and turn in their sleep because of it, and often they go to sleep on the couch so as not to disturb geordi, but he notices and brings them right back.

geordi feels so guilty. he feels like it’s his fault because he’s the one that told them to work on themselves.

cutie feels guilty too because of it. they feel like a hassle, and the whole thing is embarrassing to them. it makes them feel weak.

damien & freelancer headcanons (warning for kinda gendered freelancer)

bonded over video games and anime and other nerdy/weeb (affectionate) shit

freelancer was the first person damien came out to and they had a "oh i didn't know you were still in the closet, but um, i'm proud of u and i love u lol" kinda reaction

their ba is canon (to me) but it happened really early on in their friendship and they haven't really talked about it since

damien has accidently called freelancer both "mom" and "dad"

freelancer helped damien find more of his personal style and they share clothes a lot

they're easily the closes pair in the entire group, they will admit to being "best friends" but freelancer often claims that lasko is their "favorite" friend

freelancer was hesitant to tell damien about gavin because they were worried that damien wouldn't "approve" (not because gavin is an incubus but because dames is a little protective of freelancer)

the first time damien ever got high it was freelancers doing lol (freelancer is a pothead through and through, it's not a common thing for damien)

i really want an argument/disagreement audio between freelancer and damien, purely because i want to see them explore other sides of their friendship.

i want a resolution in the audio, bc i wonder how they’d handle it and like, what it would be about. freelancer and damien are actually really similar in certain ways tbh, so ik they’ve had arguments before lol. but of course because they’re family they work it out and become even closer.

so in the morning sometimes, freelancer will go for a walk or for a drive somewhere, and if they don’t feel like going all the way home they’ll stop by damien and hux’s house to like, take a shower or use the bathroom.

and they’ll do it without warning. damien used to be annoyed because they’ll just come by and knock loudly on the door. of course he was up by then, but he still hated it. lol

now he and hux are used to it. fl will come there and just walk past damien with a “hey” when he opens the door like they’re living there. they practically are, because hux has literally bought a robe, towel, and other stuff for them now too.

fl doesn’t eat much in the morning, but after getting scolded by damien enough times, they’re trying to more. he’ll always ask if they’ve eaten yet and even if they say yes he’ll make them stay and eat breakfast with him and hux.
