A bit of a personal vent; needed to get it off my chest and (for some “modern social norm” reason) blast it to the public

Been feeling a little off centre lately :/ I recently had a deep chat with a friend (one of those 3am convos iykyk) and they sorta brought up something that kinda got stuck in my mind. It wasn’t mean or anything, just kind of, putting things I’ve been thinking into words. And now that they’ve mentioned it, it’s like,, out of the privacy of my own mind now? Like it feels more real now, since it’s apparently observable by an outer being. So then everything feels just a little off, like I’m trying too hard to be normal, and nothing feels real and I just maybe wanna take the longest nap known to humanity.

Tl;dr: imagine if someone pointed out a pimple that you know exists but was ok with ignoring, so now you’re extremely self conscious about it but have to continue acting like it’s not there.

Or maybe I just need to start sleeping at a reasonable time, who tf knows
