i mean alternating povs exist but like

what if

okay for example theres two friends (probably seperated in two different books but are together as like a set)

and its like

Person A is doing stuff. Getting in trouble and whatever plot reason there is. But another time, their friend Person B is out of school sick, which huh, is odd.

Meanwhile in Person B's book, they encountered stuff to, got hurt, and generally not feeling well so taking an off day.

id imagine itd get very annoying to read though cause its either. you read one book then read the next. OR read them with each other? Like there'd have to be a way to determine what time it is of course so we can generally get a timeline of who was where and doing what during then

but id imagine itd get pretty cool. and theres like a moment of 'wait. youre involved in this too!???'

and theyve just never known (would be funnier if there would be moments where one was so close to getting caught by the other, like. being in the same place but doing their own thing. and so close to noticing but just not??)

basically. i remember reading a few of the ones of the fandoms ive actually seen

just like. stories that are connected without directly interlocking (or it does interact, it can go either way imo) are so interesting to me. its like our own little secret inside joke and its so interesting

anyway if you're wondering, Reinen's like an OC of mine, and Cyno from the Genshin Impact manga is pretty close to appearance, it's just that the eyes are yellow and so on.

disclaimer: i have never seen teen wolf. all my knowledge comes from fanfiction. also spoilers

been having brainrot over this. ive been thinking about this since yesterday but like 'no. im not gonna write it'

..but now ive folded because i cant stop thinking about this conversation. maybe some of the dialogue feels weird. but thats because the first convo i came up with that probably ran a lot smoother i cannot remember. and i never wrote it down

stiles is all sad like '..i never got to tell him the truth.'

dream, where theres two stiles (would be void, but. idfk where in the timeline this would be and if that wouldve happened. well not void void but like. teh stiles that 'was' void. the thing of void that remained even when the actual thing left)

Other Stiles: You know what I think you feel? Relief.

Stiles: What?

Other Stiles: I think you felt relief. There's no one you would have to lie to anymore now that he's gone. No more tough conversations, no more facing his disappointment-- Just you and yourself. And now you can do whatever you want without worries of consequences.

Stiles: (..It didn't even occur to me..) No! That's not..!

Other Stiles: But isn't it? This isn't livable, y'know. Sneaking out every other day, researching till exhaustion hits you so bad you black out. He thought you did drugs. Ending up in the wrong sort of crowd. And no matter how much he grounded you, made you do chores, lectured-- it didn't work. And he probably thought, 'what am I doing wrong?' 

Stiles: ...

Other Stiles: And you know what? Love can so easily turn into hate. Resentment. You know how he gets when he goes into one of his drunk stupors. Remember?

Stiles: No...

Other Stiles: When mom died. Remember what he said? 

Stiles: Stop it!

Other Stiles: You killed her.

Stiles: Shut up! Shut up shut up shut up!

Other Stiles: No matter how much you tell me to shut up, it doesn't change the fact that I'm correct. You want to know what he thought of you?

Stiles: No!

Other Stiles: You already know. After all, he tried everything! He gave you space, he tried to be there, and you just didn't budge. Because no, you were just too stubborn. Just like mom. You know, she didn't even tell dad about her diagnosis until months passed because she knew he'd be crushed. And you know what? He feared that you were doing the same thing. That one day he would find you dead in a ditch. And everyone would see you as just another drug addict who got a little too high and fucked up, and would spit on your name. Or you know what? Not even give a crap.

Stiles: Stop it...

Other Stiles: So if he wasn't the one doing anything wrong, then it was you. You were wrong.

Stiles: No...

Other Stiles: You were messed up and he had no idea how to fix you. What was the point of hiding anyway? Oh wait, I know! Because dear old dad loved you, but he didn't trust you. No, you broke it. And it was too late.

Stiles: I know that. I know that it was too late... I..

Other Stiles: Hell, maybe if you sprouted crap about werewolves and hunters, he would've given up right then and there. Because you were delusional, weren't you? And who knows, maybe if you told him at first, maybe he would've believed you. Or maybe he would've thought you were lying. Maybe he would've gotten mad. Like, who the hell are you to try to reason real life murder cases with fantasy, right? *laugh*

Stiles: ...

Other Stiles: No, how dare you? This isn't time for fun and games, Stiles! You think he would've said that? Maybe he would've been disgusted by you and your blasé attitude towards such a tragedy. Such a loss of life. 

Stiles: ..That's not..

Other Stiles: You think you could've gotten proof? Everyone knows Scotty'll follow you. So what if he backs you up? Doesn't mean a thing. Besides, he was chasing after a girl, you really think he would've dropped it to prove to your dad, 'hey, I'm a monster!' And you know Derek would never have been up for it. No point in trying.

So all that's left is you and your words. Does he trust you? Does he trust you enough to believe what you're saying? 

Stiles: ..Just stop it already.

Other Stiles: You know the answer. He wouldn't have believed you. Maybe he even hates you for having such a shitty son. Can't do anything right. Remember Jackson? Never would've thought it was in you to pull such a 'prank'. I thought I taught you better. Y'know?

Stiles: ..You're such a liar. I didn't feel relief. I never did. So what if there were hard times!? He was my dad! And I didn't make it any easier for him.. We still loved each other..

Other Stiles: Did he?

Stiles: Just! I don't need this right now. I don't need you trying to undermine everything and--

Other Stiles: Am I wrong?

Stiles: Just shut up! Just shut up for one second. I don't know who you are, why you're me, where these thoughts are coming from, I just-!

"Stiles?"

He opened his eyes.

The teen shuddered, feeling all sweaty and gross. 

"Wha..?"

sparks and water walking (and the power of belief)

was thinking about naruto water walking

the power of belief

and then sparks in teen wolf. well actually sparks are a fanmade thing, but basically its 'if you can believe you can do it, you can'. well probably within reason (although some fanfictions have the spark able to do basically anything. and thus the reason they were targeted and facing near extinction)

so like. if you tied up a spark, covered their eyes and ears and made them walk.

then theoretically they could keep walking, even on water. because theyd expect there to be solid ground. and idk you might be a little hesitant cause its always difficult to walk without paying attention to where youre going, without reassurance that 'yeah, there is solid ground'

but like. if you expect ground to walk on, then logically theres walking on water

also the covering the eyes so as not to see the water

covering the ears so as not to hear the sounds of water (because that might trip them up)

and idk man maybe having arms free can make it a little iffy. because without seeing where youre going youd probably feel really unbalanced. and do the whole tilting thing that would probably be the downfall if anything

theres no point to even having the ability to water walk though.

also unrelated but downside of being a spark that i just realized. cause there are times you might want something in a way? like uhhhh

well its more easy to have that sort of one minded thought in kids and stuff but like

imagine being so exhausted, drained with the remains of anger lingering. and you just think- 'i hate you. i wish you left..' or like 'juST GO AwAY!' 'i wish you died' and you feel it in the moment?

and like. you can do so much wrong with that.

or maybe that doesnt count and its more. imagination. belief.

in which oops. because i have had imagined, as if it would be real, stuff.

like. uh. idk i got bored in the car once and imagined all the trees being cut down. like, thought of a scenario where they all just abruptly got chopped and fell over (including power lines)

or.. you ever get so annoyed at someone youre just plotting their death? or like imagining killing them (not that youd actually want to but in the moment youre so angry??)

i cant even explain to you how descriptive it was it was gruesome, I STILL REMEMBER. you know, i think this is what people call intrusive thoughts???

it was like. so. you know how some cars have sliding doors? well the car im used to has this button on the inside that triggers it (you can also pull the handle but the button is nice) and like. well they do detect if someones there so it wont close on them. but like. i had a thought of what if it didnt.

and it was like this thing playing out in my mind. 'what if they died. what would happen in the event of their death'

and it was. really detailed. but of course i didnt want their death so like.

'hey. sorry i accidentally killed you because i happened to have a morbid intrusive thought and thought of a future with you gone. my bad. oops.'

and a lot of sparks portrayed in fanfiction goes about

closing your eyes and imagining it happening. and then it does because its easier to visualize that way? so . oopsie. id be a terrible spark.

I mention Assassination Classroom (MAJOR SPOILERS), Jujutsu Kaisen, and Migi & Dali (minor spoilers)

i didnt know there was an extra credit scene for the assassination classroom space episode.

i am a dumbass. and its not the first time??

okay for one lets talk about assassination classroom. I don't check the bar of how long the episode is so I don't notice if there's something extra, I just skip to next episode the second I hit credits. So that's on me. But also I've literally never seen anyone mention an extra credit scene until I'm watching this guy react to the anime, question where the '1% chance of blowing up the planet' comes from

I scroll to comments and they're like 'there was an extra credit scene where they go through the data and it explains that it's inversely proportional to the size of the subject and blah blah blah' which. WHAT. AND ALSO the poison that one girl made (I can't remember if it was the one he guided her on) is stupidly similar to what's needed to loosen the subject's muscles and basically lessen the chance of explosion.

Or actually maybe under 1% is the lower chance and the chance they get without the poison is something else. Which oh. But still?? WHAT?

anyway its been how many years since I first watched the anime? I've seen literally no one talk about it (the comments of the space episode is literally just laughing on the english)

Anyway I'm glad I started reading comments on the episodes cause they warn me about extra credit scenes.

Except Jujutsu Kaisen apparently. In like season 2 there was apparently this extra credit scene. Which I did not know of until I was reading this JJK fanfic, read the notes and it was like 'you know that extra credit scene of episode (..7 i think?)' and im just sat here like. nO???

I can happily say though that I have watched all the extra credit scenes of Migi & Dali. Because the comments were filled about it, and those extra credit scenes were like behind the scenes stuff. Like, it shows off the finished product, but the extra credit scenes usually had like what it actually was.

most memorable comment: THE DOG WAS FAKE ???

(im just sat here like: what??? WHAT DOG? < me who forgot the dog that showed up for like a few seconds. also. spoilers. BUT THE DOG WAS a CARDBOARD CUTOUT OR SOMETHING LMFAOOO)

(the anime is stupidly funny, i do recommend. its pretty eery and kind of really dumb and weird but the shenanigans give me joy)
