So recently I've been seeing alot of authors complain about other writers stealing their work and posting it as their own on another platform. This is'nt funny and it needs to stop, if the author says to NOT repost it anywhere else before or after its been posted, DO NOT repost it or DELETE IT. Its only respectful to the original authors.

As a writer myself even I wouldnt want to see my story's reposted by someone else, because it makes me uncomfortable knowing that little to the readers knowlege the person that reposted didnt write it.

So I ask you to PLEASE, if you're going to repost my work for some reason DM me to ask if its okay first.

And its to listen to people that dont support you, now these catergory of individuals would be considered toxic. Personally I think the best way to get rid of toxic people is to shut them out as much as you can and dont get 'protecting you for your own safety' confused with 'toxicity'.

But its okay aslong as we can tell the difference between them It'll be better, because we dont want to push away loved ones who genuinley care about us, and not know whether or not someones acting toxic towards us. Personally I think if we can tell the difference we would have better lives, doing this and not overthinking would be very helpful skills to master. Because in society today we have people we know personally or not know at all, telling what to do or not what to do, we have a lot of toxicity in our society today. This brings me to another part...

TOXIC PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS! Just like everyone else, there would obviously have to be a reason to act toxic and even some people dont realise they're being toxic towards others. Its imprtant to remember, if we find out someones being toxic towards you they're probably going through something, and if we can try to keep that person away from us for as long as we can until they've sorted out their problems, cos everyone has them right?

You laughed as you tried to hit Mike with a pillow for almost spilling his drink on the white carpet. “Watch it Wheeler you’ll be paying for that” you laughed as he backed away saying, “Oooh scary”. 

You’re sitting in the living room of your house,  telling scary stories with Dustin and his friends, as the oldest one in the house you thought it would be fun to do so, but Lucas and Will looked scared asf. 

With what y’all have already gone through for the past 2 years fighting interdimensional monsters and evil russians nothing seemed as scary to you anymore. 

“Okay I’m bored now” Max exclaims, “Can we talk about something else?”. 

“Hmmm, I don't know what do y’all wanna talk about?” you ask them as they start thinking about what to talk about. 

“How about you and Steve?” yells Dustin from across the room,

“Yeah that's a no” you laugh, You and Steve were just friends, though for a long time you’ve wanted to change that, you just never gathered the courage to do so.

“Awww come on y/n!!” the girls whined, however the boys were acting like they didn't care although doing a very bad job at it. 

“Guys come on there's nothing to tell, never will be” you sigh as you scan the faces before you. 

“Bullshit y/n” Dustin's sneers, “Hey language Mr” you say sternly.

“Besides I already had a good story to tell” you imply leading the conversation to a close. They all sat on the floor with the lights out and wrapped in blankets, the only light source being the night shade light, you sat on the sofa facing them starting off the story.

(Cut to end of your story telling)

“And even today people claim to hear her, knocking on doors, windows, etc..., the end.” you say cheerfully as you sit up properly. 

The kids looked frightened as hell, “Come on guys we’ve fought things scarier than this” you roll your eyes as you start cleaning up. 

“Yeah but still you never know, always assume the worst” Dustin says getting up to help you. It was only midnight and you all still had the whole night to yourselves. 

“Max and El wanna come help me get some more snacks?” you ask them, they shrugged, “Sure!”they replied following you into the kitchen”.

You girls are giggling in the kitchen when you hear a loud banging on the door. You and the girls froze looking at each other, it's probably one of the boys, 

because who would come out this late in the night? you thought so you relaxed a bit. 

That's when you heard the boys running to the kitchen, “Shit I think someones here!” Mike whispers yells. 

As the boys grab mops and broom sticks your fear returned once more. There's more banging on the door this time louder. 

“Did you look out the window?!” you ask Lucas, he quickly shook his head, running off with the girls into the main hallway. 

“Shit, shit, shit” you grab a kitchen knife and sprint out of the kitchen following the kids to the front door. 

You stand at the door holding the doorknob, “Okay when I open this door we attack okay?” you whisper to them, they nod showing they understood.

You took a deep breath as you slowly turned the knob opening it...

“STEVE?!?'' Everyone yelled all at once, you drop the knife onto the floor and tackled the tall figure in front of you to the floor.

“You frickin IDIOT Harrington you scared us to death!!” you punch him on the arm as he winces in pain. You realise you were both on the floor, you on top of him.

“Shit okay I’m sorry I should've called or something I know that now” Steve puts his hands up surrendering, and looking slightly scared because there was a knife right next to his head.

 You blush as you realise the kids were watching, you get up dust yourself off and pull Steve up. 

“Why are you even here?” Dustin says suspiciously.

“I came here to see- you know what none of your shit heads business” Steve says slightly annoyed, then he turns to you. 

“Can we talk y/n?” he asks, your heart did a little leap, why do I feel like this? It’s only Steve jeez. You thought. Then he turns to the kids that were still standing at the door, “Alone” he states to them, they clear off pretty sharpish. 

“So what did you want to talk about Harrington?” you say taking a seat on the steps and patting the space next to you for Steve, he takes it before talking. 

“So somethings been playing on my mind lately and its fucking with my head y/n it really is” he looks at your lips as he says this. 

“Oh yeah and what's that Harrington?” you ask almost mockingly. He chuckles before talking again, “Do you wanna go on a date with me?” he blurted out.

You looked at him weirdly thinking it was a joke, “Funny joke Harring-” before you could continue your sentence, he grabs your face and pulls you towards his lips kissing you passionately. 

Your first instinct was to pull away from him but one his hand found the back of your head and pushed yours against his, and two the kiss felt bloody brilliant. 

You smile against Steve's lips lifting your hand to play with his hair, he groans against your lips, you giggle as a reply. 

“HEY HARRINGTON GET OFF MY SISTER WILL YOU?!?!” 

You and Steve spring apart looking at the window looking into the living room, Dustin banging on the window and shouting. 

“Yeah that's what I thought” Dustin does the whole, I’m-watching-you thing with his fingers squinting slightly. You laughed at how overprotective and funny your little brother can be, Steve laughed along too.

You walk to the front door opening it, you turn back facing Steve, “You coming in dork?”, he nods as he locks his car sprinting towards the door. 

You both walk into the living room with the kids waiting for you.

“Oh so you two are a thing now?” Dustin asks, you shrug with Steve doing the same. 

“None of your business lil mite” you said using the nickname you’ve given him since he was a newborn. 

For the next 3 hours you, Steve and the kids ate snacks, told stories, did weird dances that Mike could not get that got you all laughing till there were tears in your eyes and your throats hurt.

“Alright squirts time for bed I reckon” you announce, you could tell they were tired out, even Steve. 

You grabbed a pile of blankets from a cupboard setting up beds for the kids. When you finished you and Steve went upstairs,

“You can stay if you want Steve” you smiled at him tiredly, he smiles back with the same smile.

“Thought I dont think you’d be very comfortable sleeping in those jeans of yours” you laugh as he looks down and shakes his head, “I don't think so either y/n” he replies. 

You giggle as you toss him one of your oversized t-shirts and tell him to get changed in the bathroom, you sit on your bed as you wait for him. 

Wait, where's Steve gonna sleep? You could kick him downstairs with the kids but you wanted him with you, you giggle at the thought. 

“What are you giggling about y/n?” you’re startled by the voice and look up with Steve looking at you weirdly. Then you realize he's wearing his boxers only.

You couldn’t contain yourself any longer, you jumped up from the bed, closed the door behind Steve, grabbed his collar and kissed him roughly right there and then. 

“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this Steve” you whisper as he wraps his hands around your waist pulling you closer.
