The Hebrew word 'Shalom' is generally recognized to mean 'Peace' or harmony, but another secondary and perhaps more important definition is Wholeness.

When there is peace things are not split apart but instead are joined together. Dissention or divorce in marriage? The solution is coming together as one PIECE in PEACE. Conflict between countries or warring parties? The solution is united back together in PEACE with each other, not separate. In fact, whenever you see the word peace simply substitute the word WHOLENESS and this will become abundantly clear.

Instead of 'Imagine World Peace' say 'Imagine World Wholeness'. Instead of 'Being at Peace' think 'Being in Wholeness.'

You see, instead of being one whole unit in harmony, the opposite of that is to be in piece(es.) Sadly this is what has happened in families, marriages, communities and in politics. Instead of working towards being whole, people are working towards being separated and split into pieces of 'for' or 'against', or 'left' or 'right' or 'haves' or 'have nots.'

Piece will never bring Peace, and the only real chance of real Peace is the Prince of Peace. If you ask Jesus Christ who is the only real SOURCE of Peace to be your Prince-of-Peace and follow His ways, you will not only be at peace but will be made the way God intended you to fully be – in wholeness, love, and completeness.

“Depart from evil, do good. Seek PEACE (NOT Division!) and Pursue It!!” - Psalm 34:14

Lucifer was the highest ranked angel in all of heaven, and although he had all the power, position and precedence over all the angelic realm — second only to God — he rebelled against God because he thought he could be like God. When that happened, he was thrown out of heaven and thrust down to earth along with all the angels that also sinned with him.

You see, God cannot have sin in His presence, and the sad reality is that most people do not recognize how disdainful sin is to God, and how it keeps them away from Him, both now and in eternity. Sadly today the very word is blissfully ignored, but the fact is this: SIN IS REAL and it is the greatest downfall to every living soul and must be recognized and repented of by every human being if they are to eventually stand in God’s presence.

While you may casually walk through the sin door and quietly close it behind you thinking that what you do will be hidden, God’s eyes see everything, and He knows the heart, ways and deeds of everyone. No sin is hidden from Him. When we break God’s law his statutes of righteousness are a mirror that reflects back not the self-righteous good person that we think we see, but to see our sin as God sees us. But if that is the case, what is the solution?

Well, if you are living in sin, deep down you know it, so don’t ignore it! Now’s the time to do something about it! Shut the door on sin and open the door to God. Right now, get on your knees and ask God to forgive you and help you to give up whatever sins are tripping you up, and no matter what it is! He will help you find a way to end it.

Your life is precious to God and He loves you so very much. That’s why He has made a way for us to escape the destruction of sin through Jesus Christ who died for you, paid the fine for all your sins, and ransomed you from death to set you FREE!

If you are living a life that you know deep down inside is wrong, pray this prayer :

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I have sinned against heaven and in Your sight. I am not worthy to be to be called your child. I have broken your holy laws and been disobedient, wayward and selfish. Please forgive me and help me to live right before you. Dear Lord Jesus, come live inside me and make me strong so that I will give up my sins and live a clean life before you very day. In Jesus name I pray,

The #1 issue that people say that causes them to refuse the Gospel message is:

I can’t Believe in ANY so-called 'Loving god' That would send anyone to Hell!”

…and You’re Right! NEITHER DO I.

Let’s correct one of the biggest lies that has been successfully put out there and that is - (and this is a biggie…)

God doesn’t send ANYONE to Hell. YOU CHOOSE to GO to HELL!

WHAT, You Say?!?

That’s right!! You see, the Bible actually says that God does not desire that any people perish in Hell but that everyone be saved (2 Peter 3:9) and as Jesus said in today’s scripture, Hell was NEVER INTENDED for people, but for evil angels. But here’s the thing - you can choose to be WITH GOD or NOT BE with God. He does not want - nor will he will force anyone - to be with Him for eternity. So if you don’t like the offer of forgiveness and eternal life which is totally free for the asking, NO PROBLEM! It IS YOUR CHOICE.

You can choose to reject salvation and believe what you want to believe about who God is and how you think he really operates, or as today’s scripture says you can be on his LEFT HAND and you can have what you say.

Friend, please listen. This is not some sort of imaginary game. We ALL will leave this earth one day, the question is where, and the answer is simply where you CHOOSE to go, not where God chooses to send you. Will you choose God’s offer of forgiveness and love today?

I recently saw an amazing medical documentary about the very first moment of conception in the womb. This is a profound achievement that has never before been possible in the history of modern medical science.

After seeing this program, there is no doubt that human life is not only miraculous, but the most intricate and complex creation God has ever made. As your Creator, He is actually present there with you from that very first moment! He is the ONE who loves every single part of you and who knows your ways, the ONE who has come to understand your joys and heart aches, the ONE who endowed you with our own unique personality, gifts, hopes, and dreams. God is the ONE who will still be with you throughout all your days...your entire life time! There is nothing about you that God is not aware of, and nothing in all this world more important to Him than YOU. While science can document the event, they don’t really know how and why life suddenly starts, but the Bible says that "HE forms us in our mother’s womb." (Psalm 139:13)

The Lord God is the Alpha and Omega who knows the beginning and the end, and is Omnipresent knowing your days and what you will do. Today’s verse says that he has already written them in His book.

A good friend of mine once gave me a sign which hangs on our kitchen wall that says, “Life is fragile. Handle with care.” It’s a reminder to Wayne and me that every single day is precious. So enjoy the day that you are given, and make the very most of it.

Take time today to read Ephesians 3 and thank your heavenly Father for creating you and for giving you the breath of life and for making you a miraculous miracle! Enjoy your Father’s love and be blessed knowing you are LOVED (and made!) inside and out!

God tells us in His Word that there will be many trials and tribulations in our lives, and if you have lived long enough you know this to be true. Sometimes there just doesn’t seem to be a solution to a problem or it may not seem to ever end. You may even be a Christian who prays your heart out to God, but He doesn’t seem to hear you or care what you’re going through. What do you do then?

That’s where the test of faith comes in! There are all kinds of formulas we may have heard about how to move the hand of God, yet God’s hand will move only when He is ready and usually when we have been tested. He is not a glorified butler but He is God Almighty who instead is training His children through trials to trust Him.

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” That is, Hope is the Desire to find the answer to the problem and Faith is Knowing the answer will be fulfilled.

Don’t become weary when you are going through a trial in life. Be patient and watch to see what God is doing in and through you. This is when the Spirit of Faith is operating:

“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore speak.” 2 Corinthians 4:13

Belief in God and what He WILL DO must always come first, so when you pray for the answer make certain you believe in your heart without doubting that God will come through because having Faith in HIM (and not in OUR faith!) will produce results.

God loves it when His children live by faith, fully trusting in Him and knowing the good He has for you is just around the corner. He wants you to live in great expectation. He is working behind the scenes putting people, things or situations in place for your good. Wait with patience and expect your answer to be His good and perfect will of you.
