no, you don't get it. This character has real personality in canon. And personality I imagined onto them. Which makes them a complex character

In respond to that they turn telekinetic upside down and shake.

You know that I don't need hands for telekinesis, right?!

And at this moment they understood, that tiying up them was not that smart idea

most of these characters are discarded from superhero/suppressors' story, but I like their designs a lot

I always find it silly to write sexual orientation and/or gender identity for OCs out of context in forms of lists. It doesn't bring much of information and looks weird

i'm not judging though, I have weakness for writing that list too hehe

Tamara

let's be honest, I didn't flesh out her much and she's more like a side character.

Tamara used to be Michael's groupmate in medical college and they were good pals. Tamara continued her medical education in uni, Michael left medicine for superpower suppression/power management.

She was about to prepare presentation about superpowered patients for uni as homework, and as friend of Michael she wanted to ask him where to gain sources. Superpowered people health turned out to be a huge rabbit hole, and her interest stuck there.

She has much more medical competence than most of suppressors (and Michael as well), so she has great authority in area of suppressive drugs.

She's very bad at fighting, therefore never goes intentionally in fight scenes. She can wait when superpowered person is exhausted by their power, she can land unexpected strike, but long classic suppressive combat (or any combat in general) is not about her. She mostly uses suppressive drugs, injection gun, rarely gases.

She operates very fast with precise actions, like a surgeon. She makes decisions very fast and stays calm in stressful situations. However, novelty scares her a lot. Besides that, after seeing Chimera Pal'na attack, she is generally afraid of mimics and makes mistakes operating with transforming powers. Sometimes that fear is borderline bigotry towards transforming people.

I recommend Lenin was a zombie to everyone, their music is so great and they have great sense of humour in their songs. Just masterpiece after masterpiece

I never played dnd, but I think if I played it, I'd like to be a necromancer. Why? "Lenin was a zombie - Simple rules" plays in my head on repeat and I think it would be funny.

I would create so much zombies and run away from problems I created by making so much zombies

Traumas I'm thinking about in context of superhero media:

all kinds of effects from jerk (whiplash, acceleration of acceleration) and g-force above human tolerance

suspension trauma/orthostatic syndrome (trauma from hanging with no moving)

crush syndrome

post-concussion syndrome. There's plenty of shock waves in superhero medium and that will definitely cause that

suppressive drugs ampoules exploration

Suppressive Drugs Ampoules Exploration

There was exploration of design for suppressive drugs ampoules, as they had several demands:

simple production, simple design

easy to break off or open in certain areas for injections with syringes and specialized injection guns

can't roll off the surface, so preference for cone shape or stoppers on flask

some characters have shaky hands and dropping expensive compound is the last thing anyone wants there. Solution - protective case or metal enforces

clear contrasting labeling

Case for industrial strains

Case For Industrial Strains

This metal box with foam insides contains several ampoules with bacterial strains, that have industrial significance, and specifically those bacteria strains produce suppressive drugs.

These ampoules are very expensive product, so it's important to keep them safe even in shaky environments

Angeline uses little squishy foam ball as her anchor in pocket dimension and as her fidget toy. It's often seen how she juggles this ball through pocket dimension.

And Michael for long time thinks that this particular ball has some special meaning for Angeline or her superpower and is very worried when she loses it first time. He tried studying that ball, thinking that some secrets of Angeline's power are hidden in it.

But there's nothing. It's just a foam ball with smiling face. Actually Angeline has like 3 of them and loses them once a day at least

long time ago I overloaded suppressors' story with too much characters and arcs. And then I just cleansed it completely, leaving only main 4 - Angeline, Michael, Diana and Max. And I grow the story about them again, but only them and only in chronological order

There used to be stories about superheroes, about teen superhero team, about superpowered political cult ran by former celebrity, about vigilantes, about super terrorist that was about to spread the plague??, but all of that overloaded story and made me do 5d chess with myself to arrange all of that to make everyone appropriate age

And I'm more happy now with what I got. Sure I made same amount of new characters as before, but now all of them serve some purpose or are connected to more than 1 character at a time. Side characters are side characters, main 4 are main 4.

I'm just sitting thinking about girls suppressors and I need nothing else

And unfortunately I have no art of them :(

I like Diana, who went from humble accountant to protector, almost like mother bear, to, well, good accountant. I like her hidden anger, I like her unleashed violence, I like her straightforward problem solving, I like how she doesn't please people, I like how she breaks down when she sees blood, but needs to keep calm look and nails that

I like Tamara who is an aspiring doctor who at first followed her friend into suppressing superpowers, but further developed her own vision of suppression and transformed how suppressors operate

I like Arina who came to suppressors for help for her beloved and stayed there because she found new purpose. How her caring side and her harsh side meet together and create both good couch and good fighter. How she overcomes her feeling of weakness, how she recognizes her strength, how she unlearns false truths (and false fighting style)

I like Sonya, who went from "fathers daughter" type to a high class mercenary. Her practical look at life, her broad vision. Her management from discomfort to full embrace of her superpower. Her assertive approach to people. And despite all harsh personal qualities she has weakness for bats and handsome women. And how she betrays literally most dangerous woman in her circles and walks away FINE after that

I want to dehydrate those who brought to the world the idea that SKETCHBOOK must be a pretty place, sort of art gallery. No it shouldn't be pretty. You do brain dump there, warm-ups, explorations and other intermediate steps of making art, not finalized art

Organizing/decluttering tip for artists/writers...

... who have habit to scribble ideas on spare paper (checks, post-it notes, torn paper, etc.) and then keep it, because those are good ideas, you can't throw them away and now it turns into a trashy pile of paper and you can't find what you need in it and get a lot of clutter

Get a folder, physical folder where you put things, like this one. It has sections, so you can also place all things by your projects/chapters etc. You don't get rid of paper, but at least now it has it's own place instead of pile. Also it's much faster to find things

Organizing/decluttering Tip For Artists/writers...

2. Make a collage. I had plenty of sketches done on spare paper (one side is printed and no longer needed and on another is drawing), so I cut out sketches I actually needed and glued them in my sketchbook. It's not pretty, but good for idea preservation

3. If you have corkboard or whiteboard, sticking there your scribbles might work. More than that, it's more likely that you will be reminded of your ideas and bring them to life sooner. However might get in the way of your sense of privacy, so adjust as you wish

So I've seen the whole 'Math's Saddest Love Stories' (asymptotes that drift ever closer but never meet etc.), but I think we're missing the potential of Math's Funny Love Stories. The couple whose destiny is an infinite cycle of breaking up and getting back together again:

So I've Seen The Whole 'Math's Saddest Love Stories' (asymptotes That Drift Ever Closer But Never Meet

Oscillating rapidly in and out of each other's life for a while before drifting apart in opposite directions:

So I've Seen The Whole 'Math's Saddest Love Stories' (asymptotes That Drift Ever Closer But Never Meet

Drifting ever closer, until you finally meet and go fuck that:

So I've Seen The Whole 'Math's Saddest Love Stories' (asymptotes That Drift Ever Closer But Never Meet

One who drifts slowly closer to the other, until they acutally meet and decide to make a very sharp turn in the other direction:

So I've Seen The Whole 'Math's Saddest Love Stories' (asymptotes That Drift Ever Closer But Never Meet

Whatever hellscape of contrived coincidences these series of infinite near misses are:

So I've Seen The Whole 'Math's Saddest Love Stories' (asymptotes That Drift Ever Closer But Never Meet
So I've Seen The Whole 'Math's Saddest Love Stories' (asymptotes That Drift Ever Closer But Never Meet

My groupmate once told me that I have "quiet kid, that once brings guitar case to school and inside, well, not a guitar" vibe and I wear that in my heart as badge of honor

Damn, I need more screenshots from cargo 200 because people mostly screenshot Zhurov, his old mother and final scene as most shocking, but not those that I personally liked most
