Riordanverse fictive culture is, there's a Hermes^ in this system... he's from a different Greek mythology modern adaptation, he's not my dad, but I am definitely going to have very complicated feelings about him...

Also though why do we look and act so similar. I mean appearance wise he looks like a pretty commonly accepted idea (blond hair, blue eyes) and it's the idea that I look like, although he's more often depicted as a brunet (which is just confusing to us).

But behaviour? He formed before we read my source. He never got to read my source. He's the one who decided to read it but he was gone before we were able to get our hands on the series. And his source is... very different. He's canon-divergent yet he became a lot like me. Less evil but still very similar.

That isn't going to help things.
