Zelda: "Ah! Even as a ghost you're disgusting!"

Link: "Well excuuuuuuuse me, Princess!"

Peach & Daisy: "L-Let's drinkING!"

(Peach, Daisy, and Zelda are doing the “90s Zelda Drinking Game” in the former two’s room of the “Smash Mansion”. They all take a shot of...something.) Peach: ”Eeeeehhh...”

Daisy: ”Uhh huh huh huh...”

Zelda: ”Nnnn...Oh, Hylia, I think I’m going to be ill.”

Peach: ”Awww, whu-whussa matter Zilda? Callin’...callin’ it quiz areddi? Hic!”

Daisy: ”Yah Zilda, you look like yer gonna spew. Like...like deh bunny wit de hat. I-I like de bunny.”

Zelda: ”The...*gulp*...the only thing making me want to *pant* “spew”...is listening to Link’s whiny voice!”

Link: ”Well excuuuuuuse me, Princess! Uuuugh...”

Daisy (prepares to drink): “Drinking ti...”

Peach: “No!”

Daisy: “Whuh?”

(Peach points to toward Zelda. Link is sitting next to her. Link looks like he’s on the verge of passing out. Between the two is a scorecard labeled “Team Mario VS Team Zelda”. The score is 4-3 with Team Mario in the lead.)

Link: “OoooOooooOooooooh...”

Daisy: “Oh hey Link, when...when did you get here? And whadja do wit yer hat?”

(Peach rolls her eyes.)

A Toast To A Friend

I saw the Smash Direct. I saw the memes. Here’s my addition to the pot.

(Simon Belmont, Mega Man, Pit, and Samus Aran have gathered at a table at the “Smash Mansion” lounge. Each has some kind of drink appropriate for their series and character. Ex. Mega Man has an E-Tank, Pit has a heart potion, etc.)

Simon: "Is everyone ready?”

Mega Man: ”I’m ready!”

Pit: ”Wouldn’t miss this for the world.”

Samus: *nods affirmatively*

Simon: ”Then let’s begin.”

(Simon raises a his glass. The others follow suit.)

Simon: ”We drink to a young man who lived every gamer's dream. Who witnessed countless series come together to fight evil, in a time when such a thing was merely a playground fantasy. Who fought alongside the universe’s greatest heroes when they had only just started their adventures. Who, though the world considers him a footnote at best and a joke at worst, remains a valued comrade...and a dear friend.

(Pit looks to the side sadly. Mega Man wipes a tear from his eye.)

Mega Man:”*sniff*”

(Samus solemnly gives a thumbs up. Simon takes a deep breath to regain his composure.)

SImon:”To Kevin Keene, aka “Captain N”, the Game Master! May he always "play with power", wherever he is." Mega Man:" To Kevin!"

Pit:”To Kevin!”

Samus:”To Kevin.” *clink!*

I included Samus because the she replaced Mega Man and Simon in the comic adaptation by Valiant due to copyright issues.
