My parents: if i had adhd and depression and found it hard to complete school work or hold a job I would simply stop being lazy
tumblr loves defending mentally ill people with hyperfixations up until that person turns 18, then they’re just a creepy adult way too obsessed with a cartoon. lmao it’s not like hyperfixations go away once we become a legal adult.
How would y’all feel if I started a comic about my personal experiences with adhd? It’s not a sure thing, but I’ve lowkey wanted to do a webcomic for a while now. Just trying to gauge interests.

Listen to kids talk about what they’re interested in. I’m 21 years of age, and I’m just now realising that I’m repressing myself due to childhood trauma. That was this EXACT thing.
It really says something about how society treats children that today I told a 13 year old I was proud of her hard work and she nearly cried into my shoulder.
