Person B: “I am not one to turn down a challenge especially one of this caliber!”

Person A: “Oh, well *ahem* g-good then! I was thinking a play at 7:00 then dinner.”

Person B: “Excellent, I shall pick you up tomorrow evening.”

Both walk off excitedly for the next day.

Imagine dozing off in your favorite character’s arms and them carding their hand through your hair. They telling you sweet words and complements and when they think you’ve finally slept they then kissing your forehead with a smile.

Person B: “You know I use to be an adventurer until I took an arrow to the knee~”

Person A: “Person B, I don’t-” (turns to see them proposing to them) “Oh! *tearing up* Person B!”

(For context, apparently take an arrow to the knee was an old Nordic/Scandinavian expression for being shot by cupid’s arrow and by it hitting the knee causes one to fall in a kneel as a sign of proposal. I remember when I read that it inspired this post)

Person A: (Looking sad) “I know I’m not worthy of being compared to a princess or anything like that.”

Person B: (Takes their hand and kisses it) “Then you are the fairest maiden I have ever had the honour of being graced in the presents of~”

Person A: (Blushes stunned, then their expression warms up) “Oh, Person B. You always say the kindest things!” they pause and add with a loving look “Also, you would put every prince and noble knight to shame~”

Person B: (With a rosy tint blooming) “T-thank you, my dear.”

Person B wears a nice waistcoat...

Person A: “Aw, you look so charming in a waistcoat!”

Person A: *Then walks off and sighs to themself* “They looks dashing in that.”

Person B: *Blushes then proceeds to proudly wears more of them the next following weeks*

Bonus:

Person A and B are walking together happily whilst Person B is beaming with pride.

Friend or colleague: “Hey, haven’t you noticed Person B is wearing a lot of waistcoats most of the time now?”

Second friend or colleague: “I think it had something to do with Person A’s complement a while back.”
