This one probably exists somewhere in some form, BUT…
Child (probably someone who would one day become 1A student) comes across an injured and incapacitated Aizawa. Because their parents work late/don’t have parents/place they stay is pretty unmonitored and the person was knocked out and obviously robbed (villain got the upper hand and stole his stuff and ran), they decide to take the guy home and nurse him back to health and maybe convince him not to be a criminal (he looks sort of like a criminal in his all black and they worry the person would get in trouble if they took them to the hospital).
Aizawa wakes up after a very stupid mistake that nearly cost him his life only to find himself in a child’s bed instead of a hospital or morgue, covered in poor attempts to dress his wounds and many bandages.
Gonna be honest, I’m not anti Dad for one theory. I’m not pro dad for one theory. It exists and I find fun in both theories.
What I love more than the theories is the dozens of posts I’ve seen of fandom extremist infighting, where some people constantly hate on the theory like it killed their extended family all while attacking the character of anyone who would think such a thing was possible, while the other portion of fandom extremists on the complete opposite end of the fight are all all “HAVE YOU SEEN THAT AFO HAS EYES/HAIR/TWO ARMS AND LEGS/SITS DOWN/STANDS/HAS EMOTIONAL EXPRESSIONS?! SO DOES DEKU! THIS IS UNDENIABLE PROOF THAT HE IS THE FATHER AND IF YOU CAN’T SEE THAT YOU’RE [insert over the top insult here].”
I find this fascinating.
I want those two halves of this argument to go to anime paternity court. And I want Horikoshi to be the judge with the little envelope that, after listening to both sides go off, dramatically opens it up and announces to the two (usually deranged looking at this point when it comes to those shows) sides of the court room that “AFO? You… are/are not the father!”
Both sides absolutely will burst into tears. One side will start cussing at the other for reasons. One might even demand money for pain and suffering it put them through. Meanwhile the back of the courtroom (who are the people who are more chill about it) are just oohing and ahhhing over all of it and clapping at the end while the drama still continues.
Just thinking about how traumatic it would be for poor Suneater to discover that there are some very dedicated fans out there who have written dirty animal smut of him. And stories where he has had babies And stories where his classmates and him have… have… k-k-kissed!
Meanwhile, Mirio would be all, ‘yeah. Everybody has seen it at this point. It’s not a secret what I look like without clothes on.’
May not have been able to walk away from this like I first thought

Yakuza Aizawa AU
After the sports festival and before he can be moved into the hero course, Aizawa ends up being scouted into the Shie Hassaikai for his talents and ability to keep Kai (his now younger brother) in line. With little choice in the matter now that his path to becoming a hero has been stollen from him, he commits his all into being a fair enforcer and right hand to the current head. When Kai gets old enough and is able to take over, Shouta still plans on leaving and following his dream to become a hero on his own. Unfortunately, the old head steps down due to his health and Shouta is forced to accept his new place as the leader. Despite his reluctance, he is one of the best leaders in this new age of quirks, sending Kai through hero school so he can become a more legal enforcer and have the license to use his quirk which helps with business. He also funds the Eight Bullet’s agency with Kai as the pro hero Overhaul, and his sidekicks all being reformed villains and criminals. It’s a not so secret secret that their agency is in the heart of the Shie Hassaikai’s territory and that no other hero agency dares to step over that boundary.
Despite all that, it is one of the safer areas to live in, and since Aizawa has become acting head, crime has decreased and drugs have been reduced and stayed out of schools and far from minors. Even the number of weapons have been reduced and the amount of quirked crimes have gone down.
Everything is going great until some moron decided to kidnap Aizawa’s adopted daughter in broad daylight from her school. Aizawa may seem like a fare, level headed man, but all common sense is out the window when his daughter is threatened. Heads will roll and blood will be spilt.
Meanwhile, far enough away to be an inconvenience, The Radio Hero Present Mic is off duty, just trying to go home when he comes across a very scared little girl under very strange circumstances. Of course his phone is dead, so he decides to escort the child home before their parents can worry.

Merfolk edition.
Aizawa works at a security company that sends out different people for different contracts and jobs. He gets sent to an aquatic testing facility for a three month stint. Everything seems above board, but one day he stumbles upon a lower floor that is full of captured/raised in captivity young merfolk. Sure, his job can be kind of shady sometimes, his boss leaving out details, but he prefers that so he can take a paycheck and not feel too much guilt.
After some snooping he finds out that the entire group of young adolescent mer, both an endangered species and also a very dangerous species, is set to be sent to another facility where they will be euthanized, as they are getting to the age where they are too old to be manageable for testing, though their bodies will continue to be used for science both before and during and after their deaths.
When people are chosen to take the armored truck that he knows will be loaded with mer, Aizawa offers to go, giving the other person he was meant to take them with food poisoning so he and he alone will be in charge of the truck. He takes it, knowing this will more than likely be the last thing he does but tired of his same old routine. At least his death will mean something, even if he is throwing it away for a species of creatures who would probably kill him if they met in the wild.
The company realize what he is doing when he deviates off course.
Soon enough he is heading for the nearest pier with his huge bullet proof truck, gunning for the edge, police and private military and helicopters on his heals.
He is injured in the crash, but doesn’t let that stop him from unlocking the back of the sinking truck, and breaking open a few to give them the best chance at escaping before causing a distraction and fighting the trained humans while the mer help eachother break free and escape.
He is dying and bleeding heavily while the last of the mer escape with minimal injuries, several attacking and shredding the humans that are trying to kill him and stop them. He feels webbed hands wrap around his ankles and pull him under and he knows he is going to die. Suspects that they don’t care to tell the difference between a human that is helping vs a human that is hurting after all they have been through in the labs. He understands as he is dragged deeper and deeper, his head splitting and air being forced from his lungs from the pressure.
Before lips press to his and more water is forced into his burning lungs and he just knows this is it. He can’t see which of the mer it is, it’s so dark his deep. He is still bleeding from a bullet he took for a mer he rescued. He feels lips over the entry wound and feels sharp teeth digging in and he would scream if he could. Why is he still alive?
Just as he believes he is about to pass out again he feels more pressure against his lips and more water is forced into his burning lungs. Sharp claws scratch along his neck and his ribs as he kicks and for some reason he isn’t dying but he wishes he was. He is thrashing, hands coming to his neck and mouth, feet kicking, eyes rolling back as a mouth presses against his again and more water is forced into his mouth, almost like it’s trying to give him CPR instead of forcefully drowning him.
And that’s when it clicks. And he thrashed harder because yes, he did save these adolescent mers, but he never planned to become one of them! He didn’t know that was possible! And if he becomes one of them, does that mean he has to continue caring for them, regardless of how little he actually knows about their kind and the ocean?
What about other, older Mer that reside in the deep? How will they take his presence? The mer may be able to force him into being able to breath under water by cutting gils into his neck and sides and forcing a biological change that makes no scientific sense, but he definitely doesn’t develop protective scales or a fin instead of legs, though he does start to form a telepathic mind link to his small school of mer. His class, he affectionately starts referring to them as in his mind. And while he will fight like hell to protect them, he is still a very squishy human compared to their still growing and still very powerful predator mer bodies.
And he is very much seen as nothing more than an intruder and a nuisance to the much larger, dangerous, downright terrifying adult Mer that find him and his class and want to take the adolescent Mer in and have them join their pod.
MHA AU plot bunny I’ve had in my head for a while:
Mute Aizawa
Aizawa lived in a bad neighborhood growing up. When he was fairly young he was attacked by a villain with a knife/knife quirk. He should have died. It was right across his throat. He still has nightmares of that night years later.
While he survived, his voice did not. He learns to adjust and grow and sign. It doesn’t mean everything is as accessible as he would like. Many people don’t sign. Some people just stop talking to him because they assume Mute means Deaf, and they don’t have the time to learn a new language to make a friend. He wears a scarf in the middle of the summer because it’s better people stare at him for that than ask him questions about a scar that he can’t answer and doesn’t want to answer but everyone seems to think they are entitled to.
He goes to UA and on the first day and the teachers try to get them to introduce themselves out loud in front of the whole class. He can’t. The teacher should know that. So he sits there and glares until the teacher moves to the next student. After that day, nobody in his class talks to him. Not like they would anyway. Being mute always scared people away. Made them all uncomfortable. On top of that, one of the popular students decided he doesn’t talk because he thinks he is better than them. This becomes a bigger problem when he bumps into a big headed and very scary hero student in the hall that demands he apologize. Obviously he can’t in any way the student would understand. He quickly becomes a target for entitled hero students and his classmates for “making them look bad” and “acting like a villain.”
Eventually, while running from bullies, he runs into Yamada, who steps up for Shouta regardless of the fact Aizawa is scary looking, a general education student, or the fact he doesn’t even get a thank you, which Oboro is a little miffed about how the other student runs off without thanking his friend for stopping him from getting pummeled. That’s just rude.
The aspiring voice hero is happy to help. While Hizashi is not deaf, he knows how to sign and understand sign because he deafened his parents at a young age and all they do at home is sign. It takes a while for Shouta to warm up to him, and even longer for Hizashi to realize Shouta is actually mute because he mostly ignores people because that has been what comes easier than try to make friends and end up getting left out.
Eventually they become a duo that is rarely seen without the other.
MHA plot bunny:
Aizawa and possibly Mic get deaged permanently in a quirk accident. Good news is they are alive. Bad news is they are now in Izuku’s class, and in an odd twist of fate, have become his problem children. So this is why Aizawa was constantly tired trying to keep him alive?
Shouta Aizawa/Eraserhead HCs of mine:
- Aizawa hated Pro heroes since he was a child, stemming from his mother’s unhealthy obsession with heroes.
- Aizawa’s mother was, what many people referred to as a cape bunny/chaser. She had a quirk that, upon looking into someone’s eyes, could make them lose their inhibitions for a brief period of time. This helped her with her goals as she was a professional villain victim. She knew who to contact when a villain needed a victim for their big debut with a hero for the public. That, and she purposefully would walk through dangerous alleys and knew the best places for patrols and crime to get the chance to win the heart of some unsuspecting Hero, afterwards, she would show him her gratitude.
- her intimate goal was to win over a hero and have him marry her. Unfortunately, she enjoyed the high of being rescued and being in dangerous situations so much that she was rarely able to stay faithful. She was engaged a total of 9 times, mostly to low ranking heroes. She only successfully married 3 times, and only once did it last over a year because she couldn’t stop trying for bigger and better heroes. Despite being payed generously to keep quiet for the heroes public image, and in child support, she often blew it all perusing her dreams
-Aizawa has a total of 14 siblings of various ages, genders, and quirks, all of them half siblings. Some of them he never even met because they ended up taken from his mother at an early age due to child endangerment and neglect and only in two instances did the father actually choose to take full custody of their child.
- Growing up, Aizawa always hoped and prayed that the heroes who ‘rescued’ his mom, and him on a few memorable occasions where his mother used him to gain a heroes attention, would rescue him as well. After a time, he stopped caring. He didn’t understand why his mom thought a second of their attention was so much more important than him. He didn’t know why he was never enough for her.
- he frequented an old pre quirk style dance studio to avoid going home after school. He used to loiter on the roof and watch the people inside from the window. His life changed when he was invited inside and essentially adopted by the owner.
- over the years (he would have been bullied even harsher if the kids at school learned about it, who bullied him because of his quirk and because everyone knew about his mother) he learned many different styles of dance. His favorite when he was younger started with ribbon dancing, and eventually evolved into scarf dancing and eventually pole dancing, though if he had a partner he loved ballroom, ballet, and tango. Something about the push and pull of two bodies in motion and watching his partner’s move while predicting the next to move with them. This eventually translated into his fighting style.
- the owner of the studio would never admit it, but she thought Aizawa was a little homeless girl when she first spotted him, with his small, lithe prepubescently androgynous body and long tangled hair with dark lashes. Traits that he unfortunately shared with his mother, which is why he hated to take care of his looks, and would often avoid shaving cleanly as an adult. His teacher was where he learned to wear his hair in a messy bun.
- he grew up in a dangerous neighborhood and narrowly avoided scrapes. Also, he oftentimes didn’t get along with his mother’s boyfriends, who were either low ranking villains she often used to gain the attention of heroes, or (as she got older and began loosing her beauty and her name became more well known by heroes and first responders that often took her calls) lower and lower ranked heroes that were often willing to take bribes and look the other way on things.
- He also didn’t get along with the few siblings he had. When he got older and decided to look into it, several of them went into the system and he was never able to fully figure out where they went, several more became criminals, a few of those criminals also became villains, and a few of them had died. He is the only one who became a hero, and that was only because of Nedzu’s intervention.
-His mom was the one who forced him to apply to Hero school, hopeful of parent teacher conferences with the all hero staff and hopeful of gaining the attentions of older students. She was very upset with him for not even trying during the practical exam. Which he purposely sat to the side for. He did not want to be a hero. But, his mom pushed for him to get into the general education course. Somehow (where there is a will there is a way) she scrounged up enough money to send him through.
- wearing his UA uniform on his way home from school resulted in him being chased down and mugged a few times, resulting in his mother thanking a few heroes who helped him. While he never confirmed it, he was pretty sure at least some of the later attacks were plotted by his mother to some degree.
- the day of the sports festival he had been through a lot. The dance studio that was his safe place for the longest time had closed. His mom’s now ex hero boyfriend had smacked him around a bit because of his freakish quirk and mother. He hadn’t slept in some time because of the anxiety of everything boiling over. His own classmates had started to learn about him and his quirk and his poor family and mom and started to shun him. And here he was. In a sports festival meant to glorify the hero course while they beat all of the other students in the school like they existed to be nothing but props, stepping stones for a hero’s future. Victims. Villains. Poor, helpless civilians. He couldn’t take it anymore.
- Aizawa snapped. He went into survival mode. Fight or flight, and he had been running all his life. In the arena there was nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. Nowhere to escape. Maybe escaping was always an illusion. Because it would always come down to this. Heroes hurting him. And nobody ever cared except himself. It only took 13 years for Aizawa to finally snap. He didn’t want to hurt anymore. Definitely not for someone else’s entertainment. Leading up to that point in his life he had always avoided using his quirk.
- Truthfully, Aizawa didn’t remember much of his first sport’s festival. Looking back at the videos he would be shown, he fought like a man possessed. It was… unsettling, that he, a no name general education student, was capable of taking down the top hero students. The crowd was silent when he accepted his gold medal on the podium. The only fortunate circumstance out of all of it was that the first years weren’t televised. People only tended to tune in for second, and mostly third year sports festivals. Still, enough people were in the audience that it was bound to make the news. Only a villain would beat an aspiring hero so soundly, much less several of them. That, or maybe UA’s hero course teachings weren’t all that great if some nobody could kick their butts so soundly?
- To save face, Nedzu stepped in, transferring Aizawa into the hero course. Aizawa couldn’t decline, because if he did he would more than likely be pictured as the villain everyone thought him to be and would be targeted by society and the media. Nedzu blamed the entrance exam on Aizawa’s failure to make it in, and claimed to media outlets that the young winner of the first year sports festival clearly wanted to prove himself capable of being a hero despite the entrance exam only catering to hard hitting quirks. And, that is when Aizawa became Nedzu’s pet project and his mole for the hero course and hero teacher’s for favoritism and quirk biased behavior.
- Aizawa hated being in the hero course. Hated how much his mother loved him for it. Hated that the entire hero class also hated him, because the lowest ranking student of the class had been kicked out to make room for him, and apparently a lot of people had liked him. The only thing he liked was the fighting.
- When Hizashi suggested his hero name, he thought the guy was bullying him. Sure, he had to graduate from hero school, but he never planned on actually becoming a hero, so it didn’t matter what his name was. He never had control over his life, so why would he have control over his hero name.
- He played along with Hizashi and Oboro and any other hero student that befriended him. Waiting for them to announce it as a prank. Waiting for them to do something cruel. He had lost his faith in heroes a long time ago.
- His hero outfit was a simple black jumpsuit and a belt because it was cheep, and if he had to wear something it was going to be comfortable and practical and easy to replace if he got the tar beaten out of him.
- I have more thoughts on Hizashi and Oboro, but this post has gone on long enough.
- have a cookie if you made it this far. 🍪
I love seeing Eri take on traits of Aizawa sooooooo freaking much… buuuuuuut…
Where is Eri deciding to do her hair like Present Mic one day and people just accept that she is allowed to do that (even if she looks hilarious) because nobody wants to tell the canonically abused child that had little control over what decisions were made over her own person until recently that she looks silly like that.
Where is the scene out of Lion King, where she gets mad at some random hero students being dumb and she decides to scream just like present mic, and they look at her, confused and amused, because, like, what the heck was that pitiful little squeak supposed to be? And then they almost poop themselves because suddenly Present Mic appears behind her, chest puffed up like he is gonna roar for his little kitten like Mufasa did for Simba? And the moment she opens her mouth he screams at the same time and knocks the dumb students on their butts, and she turns around excited Mic is there because did he hear how loud she screamed? And he just smiles all “oh no! You’re gonna put me out of the job like that!” And it’s just so wholesome because she has learned through Mic and her whole support system that she does have a voice. And she can make as many silly choices as she wants because she will always have support and protection to learn and grow and have a safe space to do that in.
Just thinking about Present Mic and how unrecognizable he is out of his hero costume to most people. His radio voice is very recognizable as well, but he probably doesn’t talk like that all the time. I also love the fact that it was hinted at one time that he doesn’t respond to Mic when he is Hizashi and the other way around because he seems to separate his mentality when he is a hero and when he is not, which has its own pros and cons.
Because of this, I really do think he is a method actor. Idk if he is a good one or not. He probably enjoys messing around when he is playing a part for hero students, but considering his looks and how fairly unrecognizable he is, I bet he probably helps with sting operations.
Bonus thoughts on this subject revolve around him being very recognizable in costume, recognizable out of it by some students, friends, family, people he works at the radio show with, and probably a few obsessed fans who care enough to learn his look. The number of people who would recognize him if he shaved his stash (it will grow back and he can easily put on a very realistic fake one if he needs to) and chose to wear a sun dress, big sun glasses, a floppy hat, and curl his hair? A hand full of people.
I also HC that, along with his voice quirk, he has trained his voice studiously to mimic others. Including female voices. Which is really helpful for undercover ops he does with Aizawa, where Hizashi wanders home alone at night, playing a defenseless woman to lure out monsters and predators. Hizashi could absolutely handle themselves, but it’s always safer to have backup just in case the criminal’s quirk is dangerous.
I also just realized how stringy, leggy, tall Hizashi coming into the office in a dress and curled hair and makeup would probably remind Yagi of his mother at a glance.

Hizashi and Aizawa meow meows. Because they are both my little meow meows and deserve love.

Idk who needs to hear about this, butttttt…

Saw this old meme and had to apply it to my bois

That awkward moment you put something into Google translate and get something you really didn’t expect to become canon, and probably won’t be because it’s Google translate, but you can dream.
I love these boys so much. I can absolutely see them attempting and failing to wingman for each other over the holidays.

just wanted to do smthn quick to mirror this panel in the manga lmao

Original post

Saw this and couldn’t help but think of season 1 Endeavor. 🤣

Origin. Also, I just really love the shoto react face.

Weird things I find when scrolling through photos on my phone.

It’s the same picture.

Why do I get the feeling this applies to both of them? Same energy. I can hear it in both their voices.
