everyone's expecting me to be someone I'm not

being left alone in the world with not a clue what

to do, or how to be what everyone wants of me

why can't I live, why can't I just be?

nights spent smoking cigarettes in the darkness of moonlight:

shattered amethyst & emerald reflections, cycles of seasons,

manufactured essence, the traditions of the future are bleak,

beneath the hollow, the depth of candidly callous chemistry;

so harsh in remains, yet so opalescent in ritual renaissance.

i feel so scared of losing you

but i still wish I could let you go

just trust me when i tell you

if I did let you go, you would know

for those people in my personal life who don't know I write a lot:

sometimes I wonder what it'd be like to share my art with you;

so many of you don't know how truly dark my mind can be...

i'm really tired of life

what's the point of anything

if feeling brings me strife

someday my soul's gonna stop singing

it's just you and me casually walking

all around us the red leaves falling

falling like i did for you

only their fall isn't half as cruel
