Tell them which part was your favorite, or how you were really excited seeing that they posted a new chapter. Or simply say you enjoyed reading the work. You don't have to feel nervous leaving a comment. And don't worry if you have nothing profound to say. A small "I like this" will do. The creator will always love hearing you enjoyed their work. I like to think of leaving a comment for them as watering a garden. A little encouragement from you, and hopefully you help a writer find motivation to continue, and create something wonderful many will enjoy!

And please be careful about giving critiques and criticism. These Authors can be fragile things, and many don't want to be the best of the best. They simply want to share stories! So give feedback if they ask (Only If They Ask), but always be respectful, and remember to also tell them what you liked about the work!

(Why am I making this post? Well because I just left a comment on someone's fic. Truthfully, I almost didn't. But I saw how wonderful the fic is and how little comments they had, so I left a simple comment just incase the author was waiting for feedback. I know I would be if I posted a story. And they responded and appreciated I took the time to comment! I'm glad I did! And I want to encourage others to encourage others. Have a good day!)

This is my Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas Manga book 🎄💀🎅

I won it in 2008 at my School Halloween Trunk-or-Treat & Games Festival when I was in Kindergarten. It was the first time I had ever seen a book like this, and I thought it was broken until my older brother explained it was how comics are done in Japan. I've never seen or been given a book like this since.

My favorite thing is that when you open it like how you would normally read an English book it says "Oops", and explains how you read it. It's so cute 😄. It's not in the best shape now, but I keep it because I think it's neat.

It's also always fun to see the old game ads. Such nostalgia 😆

And apparently there is a whole collection of Nightmare Before Christmas Manga books!! I probably won't get them, but I think all of this is really fun🎄💀🎅

Hands down the best Trick-or-Treater this year was the little Princess Peach that came to our house. I theatrically gasped, "Oh my gosh is that Princess Peach", and she said "YES IT IS!" And when I gave her the candy she went "I Love Your Elf Ears! They are so Cute!" And I said, with the biggest grin on my face, "WELL YOU ARE JUST THE BEST!" This little girl had so much charisma I nearly fell over from the cuteness 🥺 💓. And I made my costume literally today from random things I had, because procrastination is my motivation. And I wasn't sure if it even looked good, but she made me feel so cool 🥲

Five British comedians would be Tasked to clean my house the Best and Fastest. Half my things would be sold off, the other half is destroyed and thrown out, and my dishes were washed all at once in the bathtub.

The main characters in the last show or movie you watched now have to deep-clean your house for you. How does that go?

Anyone else lay by the pool, or sit in a hot car, or just walk outside after being in a building with A/C into the dessert heat, and take a moment to absorb the heat like a lizard basking on a warm rock. It's so cozy.

I told my Aunt to look into getting a basking rock for humans to lay on, and put it by her pool. It would literally be the best thing in the world.

I have no idea if basking rock for humans is a real thing, but I feel like it is a million dollar idea. The same people that make reptile habitat material should also make this product. Or the same people that make Jacuzzis.

It really wouldn't be that hard. I just want to lay on a huge flat rock that stays comfortably warm. But also I want a self heating rock for when the sun's not out, but I want to be warm. And of course I want one that's indoors, because most times I don't want to be outside.

Do I have an actual lizard brain?

I didn't like the whole grain chocolate bars, or the gummy fruit snacks that you brought for me. But I did like how you thought of me.

We all love you, but my mom loves you most.

You were incredibly strong your entire life.

We share the same birthday. That makes me happy. I'll blow those candles out for the both of us.
