I'm Guessing That Porter Was Born Around The 1950s.
I'm guessing that Porter was born around the 1950s.
When listening to his first audio and he described Treasure as demure I didn't know what that meant so I looked it up. I can't remember which website it was, but it showed the popularity of the word throughout history, and the most recent was the 2010s, but that wouldn't necessarily make sense because 1) you tend to keep the vocabulary you grown up learning and 2) Porter was around even before Vincent was turned (I'm pretty sure). He's older than Vincent, talks with older terms, and just imagine how LONG it would take for the tutors William got to teach him. He's like the Simone Biles of vampire magic. That didn't come from no where. He was unemowered before he was turned as well, so he would've needed EXTRA help.
So, the most recent timeframe in which "demure" was popular was, I believe, around the 1950s. Again, I could be wrong because I can't remember the website. But it makes sense that he would be around 70 years old.

terrible times to be a writer on tumblr
On a more serious note, those are the notes I received on my Gyutaro fic, CAM. I initially said I’d consider turning it into a multi-part series if it got a strong enough response, but clearly, it didn’t do as well as I had hoped. The response on AO3 is even worse, with only 22 kudos and no feedback at all.
While I’m super grateful that three people have commented and expressed interest in another part here on tumblr, I’m genuinely torn about whether it’s worth continuing if only a small number of readers are going to engage with it in the end.
I've always struggled with the lack of feedbacks on my works and once again, this is very disheartening for me as a writer. I put a lot of time and energy into creating these stories, and when there’s so little response, it’s hard not to feel discouraged.
So my question is: Is it really worth expanding this into a two/multi-part series, or should I just leave it as it is?
All of this to say — please support your writers. This isn't instagram or twitter, likes are pretty much worthless and do not help at all with visibility. 🩷
I'm tired of 6'2-6'5 being the go to height when people find a character attractive.
Soap is 5'11
Ghost is 6'4
Price is 6'2
Gaz is 6'1
Graves is 5'10
König is 6'9
CAPTAIN mactavish was around 6'2
SERGEANT Mactavish is like 5'11 at most.
Phillips Graves isn't 6'2. he's not towering over you. He's around the same height as Soap. looks taller with that big ass helmet on, is actually a bit shorter. I'll give him 5'9/5'10. His VA is 5'10
König could be 6'10, but considering is VA is 6'3, I'm not entirely sure. I'd give 6'6-'6'10
Ghost isn't 6'5, 6'6. Soaps head goes to his ear. he's closer to 6'3/6'4. still tall, but not THAT tall. His VA is 6'3
Price isn't 6'5, HE'S 6'2. not as tall as ghost but close. His VA is 6'2
and pretty boy Gaz is said to be 6'4, But his VA is 5'11-6'0. and Soap goes up to his eyebrows. we'll say he's 6'1.
stop giving the characters an extra 3 inches to make them seem hotter, I much prefer my men 5'9 rather than 6'5 🙏
