I am asking about your listeners, do you have any random or fun facts about them? Or anything you'd like to share in general? I love hearing about other people's characters

most of my listeners are based on different myths. Angel is based on Hermes, Darlin is based on the story of Chang'e when she drank the potion in a self sacrifice way, Sunshine is based on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice, you get it.

Sweetheart is based on the Cheshire cat (milo really is a cat person haha) and Freelancer is loosely inspired by monkie kid characters no one talk about it./lh

also Freelancer sings a lot of death metal they love to scream.

none of my listeners (or even my versions of the canon characters) are white. every character I've drawn so far is either a poc or a literal demon

Angel used to do competitive fighting when he was younger and he was really good at it. He doesn't fight anymore, but he can for sure throw someone over his shoulder still.

The evolution of Lovely's hair

( I was not very consistent with her hair in my recent sketches, sorry for the confusion )

(please keep in mind that english is not my first language )

○Before being kidnapped by Adam, Lovely has very short hair dyed in black and red. She cuts it like that for practical reasons: she is very sportive, loves doing urbex, so it's just easier ( plus it's more comfortable during heat wave ). She took very good care of it and always had extra hair dye for emergencies.

○After Adam's incident, however, things became more complicated. She began to wear turtlenecks, scarves and let her hair grow. Everything to hide her neck. Plus, since everything was so new to her ( between her powers, the academy...), she really wanted to blend in and be discrete, so she also dyed it dark brown.

Even when she grew comfortable in her body again and let Vincent feed on her, she kept it that way to hide his bitemarks. Not by shame, but if somehow people learn how she becomes a latent, she wanted to avoid remarks comparing Adam and Vincent just because they're both vampires ( no, it's not the same thing to be bitten by Adam or by Vincent for god' sake )

○ Being turned into a vampire means fresh start, and fresh start means new hairstyle. Since her hair is now forever healthy ( or at least it's my headcanon ), she dyed it white: a color she was always afraid to try because of the damages it could cause. In addition to it, she tried different colors for the tips like blue or red.

Headcanon: Lovely trains with Tank

After Lovely was turned into a vampire, and especially after the meeting with Porter, Lovely and Tank began to fight/train together: they're both done with vampires taking advantage of naive humans and even if Porter is not a psycho like Adam or Quinn, his behavior rubs them the wrong way.

In the beginning, those meetings were just a moment for them to unwind and for Lovely to externalize all her build-up anger since Adam. But it quickly became a way for her to learn how to fight and to use her vampire strength.

After some time, they developed a strong friendship, and became the "Protect Treasure at all coast" team.

Plus, it feels easier for Lovely to talk to Tank about what happened with Adam. She loves Vincent with all her heart, but there are some sensible topics like this one that she doesn't want to talk about it with him, at least not now. ( same thing with the loss of her powers. She is more comfortable speaking about it with Sam )
