i’m going to start doing tiny posts with whatever random ass headcanon hits my skull :)

-> Would currently KILL to rant about Darlin/Angel (romantic/platonic/but mostly romantic because I said so.)

I get that these two are listeners and legit have no way to actually interact clearly in an audio but I just feel like their dynamic would be adorable.

Darlin/Angel headcannons/rant below the cut ->

Two listeners who- canonically- have never interacted with one another. Yeah they’re in love shut up I said so.

Fuck it, Darlin/Angel crackship Romantic headcannons ->

Angel being a chaotic fuck, and Darlin getting into trouble every five minutes.

Angel would, of course, encourage any devious shenanigans because they aren’t always the voice of reason. But one thing we do know for certain is that they know when to be serious and at what point a joke ends or is just too much.

So scolding Darlin for either going after Quinn in some dumbass attempt at revenge alone? Yeah, not on angels watch.

And Darlin would be protective over Angel regardless whether or not these two ever got together. (They’re the alpha’s mate for gods sake, totally not because they have a crush on them or something *wink, nudge*)

These two just have some attraction to eachother, an undeniable pull that leaves the other aching for an answer or resolution as to why this stupid ball of chaotic energy is so attractive all the sudden. And why do they keep sharing glances during pack meetings

Either way I headcannon that in either scenario, no matter who they end/ended up with, these two definitely hooked up AT SOME POINT. And the awkwardness of finding out that they belong to the very pack your werewolf boyfriend is the alpha of??? Fuck-

And if anything seriously bad ever happened to Darlin, Angel would just be immediately in tears/ barely able to understand why or explain so to David.

Platonically, I still ADORE these two ->

Angel would definitely be Darlin’s “secret support”, there’s just something about that store-bought-ramen loving shithead that is oddly comforting to them.

Darlin would go to Angel to rant or cry, or whatever they can’t muster up the courage to show the rest of the pack.

(Also I headcannon that Angel would be the go-to for the rest of the pack if they don’t want to confront Mr. Big bad alpha Shaw, and run it by them. Everyone’s just oddly more comfortable if they feel like they’re talking to someone who feels like an “older siblings partner”.)

Darlin would come to their place in tears, but when David answers the door they get all pissy and wipe the red from their face and ask for Angel. (David/Darlin sibling dynamic)

To which David is all confused, and jumps a little once his mate is immediately somehow at his side, pulling Darlin inside by the shoulders and into a firm embrace to which they bring them into their arms on the couch.

David has not moved once because: what the fuck that’s my mate, when did you get so close, omg fucking include me you snots. Lets just say his mind is running a mile a minute. But he eventually collects himself and settles on the couch cushion furthest from the two.

He hears stifled sobs as angel gently shushes them, and whispers a “what can I do?” As they run a careful hand through Darlins hair.

The two settle on ramen and watching Angel play animal crossing for the rest of the night until Darlin crashes on angels shoulder:

Currently yearning for Alexis to make an appearance in an audio, or just a separate audio all together. [Vampire Mates’ possessive ex corners you] and it’s literally just Alexis threatening Darlin to stay away from Sam, and how they’re basically involving him with Quinn. “Are you sure you want to put Sam through what your little friend went through?” Even though Alexis literally put Sam through hell.

Thinking about Lovely and Darlin holding each other- these two have been through so much both physically and mentally SO LET THEM HOLD EACH OTHER.

Vincent and Sam got a text that Lovely was over at Darlin’s apartment when Vincent had asked where they were. Briefly asking if they could join, was met with two optimistically coaxing responses. They weren’t in the mood to speed over, so Sam’s truck was the next best thing (which left them a little later than they would’ve preferred due to traffic reasons).

So by the time they do show up thanks to Sam’s extra key- they find their partners snuggled up under a blanket together; watching old Disney movies. Darlin’s on Lovely’s chest from under the blanket, while Lovely is lying on their back, arms wound around Darlin, and legs tangled loosely together.

Sam and Vincent pretty much freeze in the doorway as they take in their partners sleepy smiles and hummed laughter. These two just look so peaceful like this together- THEY JUST DESERVE REST ANS HAPPY TIMES TOGETHER. Of course Vincent was there for Lovely, especially after their turning. But Darlin also grew to be a safe space for the newblood, alongside Vincent and Sam. (Found family vamps and wolf makes me so soft)

Darlin waking up midday while Sam is still asleep. Their head is on his stomach, arms wound loosely around his waist as they press sleep kisses to his chest and stomach. Sam’s hands are rubbing up and down their back, occasionally tangling his fingers in their hair and petting it softly. This is how most “mornings” are spent: Darlin protecting him while he rests until nightfall.

Sam assures them that they don’t have to stay with him sleeping all morning, but Darlin insists that they’d much rather be here with him.

Incubus Angel doing everything in their power to protect David. Quinn attacking, and Angel having no choice but to reveal themselves as an incubus- finally able to unmute their aura after all this time to fight him off. Darlin’s beyond astonished at Angels sheer power. And Angel is absolutely that- powerful. David’s down when Angel shields him from Quinn, sending the bloodthirsty vampire back down into the mud.

Angel doesn’t gather much energy from David’s sexual feelings, for he doesn’t constantly have them enough to satiate his mate. So they linger around nightclubs and sex stores, in loyalty for their boyfriend. Angel finds the somewhat starvation worth a life with David Shaw. But David feels so bad about it once he finds out.

Listen I UNDERSTAND the clan’s territory is within Wonderworld, but what if William just invested in a big ass castle to house himself and the rest of the clan if desired. His room being the grandest of course, this man aims for luxury- while a majority of the second floor holds multiple guest rooms, each claimed by certain clan members (but he installs extras of course).

He hosts balls throughout the seasons, even lets his secret favorites of the clan choose the themes. William always leaves his doors open for Darlin and the pack, and invites Lovely and Sam over for tea (Sam and lovely are absolutely a chaotic duo). He’s so comforting and patient with Darlin and Lovely, treats them like his own progeny.

Saw your William owning a castle headcanon/William being a DILF headcanon and now I can't stop imagining William comforting Lovely, Darlin' and Bright through their trauma because let's be real here. That man is a comforting presence and those three absolutely have some sort of trauma

DILF WILLIAM‼️ he’s so gentle and patient with Darlin and Lovely, and he’s so easy to know when somethings wrong. Lovely wandering the castle during the day (they couldn’t sleep) and finding William in his study. He doesn’t even have to ask he just sighs and opens his arms. Lovely on his lap as he goes through paperwork. Yes he absolutely has reading glasses

Why can’t Angel be terrifying? Like they’re all flirty and humorous on the outside as a front, but can also be violent and cocky. Them having daggers on them pretty much at all times, they outwardly prefer close-range weapons. Angel started attending “classes” shortly after they found out about Quinn. LIKE IMAGINE THIS LIL UNEMPOWERED HUMAN THAT CAN LITERALLY TAKE ON ANY VAMPIRE WITH SOME CUSTOMIZED KNIVES. I just really need to hear the packs reaction to them sparring with Darlin for practice.

(I just got an industrial piercing and I kept thinking about headcannons for the pack going out for piercings) here’s some chaotic experiences for the pack at a tattoo shop below the cut:

Asher gets super squeamish with blood so he’s covering his eyes the entire time- Babe absolutely had to hold his hand (even when Babe was the one getting a nose piercing)

Milo already has an assortment of different piercings (he honestly just does it for fun at this point) so he begrudgingly declines on getting one himself. However Sweetheart wants to get the “most painful one” to “see if they can take it” but it’s absolutely not because they’re a masochist or anything (I really hope someone gets this reference because fuck you it fits so well)

Angel is just so excited to be here, they have so many lil tattoos and wanted to get a lil wolf on their wrist (David gets so flustered when Angel suggests a wolf tattoo- OOH MAYBE SOME ANGEL WINGS FOR DAVID TOO). They’re kinda shimmying along to the music in their chair, moving David’s hand to “dance with them”.

David is super reluctant to get something at first, but once he sees everyone else getting something he decides to “get something small” HE GETS ANGEL WINGS FOR HIS MATE AND A WOLF FOR HIS DAD WITH THE DATE OF HIS DEATH ON IT

Darlin and Sweetheart are having a competition for who bleeds the most, meanwhile Sam and Milo are trying to explain how “bleeding isn’t a competition” and to “stop being dumbasses and sit still”

Darlin and Sweetheart absolutely get high together, like they’re super strong and really hot of COURSE they get high together ‼️

Blowing off steam from Quinn’s psychotic ass, or agonizing department superiors. Laughing at the people that piss them off while passing the joint back and forth. @raaanciid

Darlin and Sweetheart finally deciding that they’re done with Quinn. Sweetheart knocks some sense into Tank; “fuck that stupid deal- people are DYING. We have to do something. I’m leaving tonight- with or without you.” “…and what about Milo? I take it he doesn’t like this little ‘plan’ of yours all too much.” “Milo doesn’t know. That’s the thing about being a stealth, Tank; you can disappear easily. Are you with me or not?”

Sweetheart leaves a note for Milo, knowing he would have wanted to come with them. But considering the state of his magic- yeah that’d be a hard pass on their part. Sweetheart refuses to ever put Milo in danger again.

Sweetheart standing in the middle of theirs and Milo’s apartment living room, looking from a crack in the bedroom door to a very asleep Milo, to the note on the kitchen counter. Tears build in their eyes at the agitating confliction. “It’s the only way. We’re running out of time anyways.”

Darlin has an easy time feeling like shit for breaking their promise to Sam, but part of them really believes Milo’s mate is right; that they can do this. The two depart that night, driving in silence hours into the dark streets of Dahlia.

Darlin and Sweetheart tracking Quinn down by the early hours of the morning, staying at a motel together to regroup before next nightfall. Sam and Milo are blowing up their mate’s phones with call after call, and text after text to no avail. “We’re in too deep to stop now.”

THESE TWO ARE SO BADASS I JUST NEED THEM TEAMING UP TO KILL QUINN; there’s no way Sweetheart isn’t incredibly talented in other forms of magic. Tank “doesn’t need magic” and prefers to let their teeth and claws do all the talking.

Sweetheart and Darlin coming back to the pack all bloody and bruised, barely conscious- OOH OR WHAT IF SOMEONE ELSE FOUND THEM AND WHAT IF THAT SOMEONE IS LOVELY. “I…. Found these two passed out just outside of Wonderworld. Sorry it’s so late I’m-… not used to the sun feeling like shit just yet.”

Sam and Milo can leave the scolding for later, they’re just so glad to see their mates alive and in-not-one-piece. @raaanciid @4ngelv4mp

Newblood-vampire Angel vs Darlin after Quinn turned them: Angel is so blinded by anger, hunger, and turmoil because of what Quinn put them through post and pre-turning. And of course they don’t actually believe themselves when they ‘point the finger’ at Darlin, but it’s just so easy to blame them rather than go looking for more painful answers.

Darlin standing still and letting themselves stagger back as Angel throws punch after punch at them through violent sobs. But the newblood tired easily, each punch becoming slightly weaker and unsure. Darlin holding Angel still by their racking shoulders despite the damage done to their body. Angel is just crying harder now, gasping for air through guilted apologizes. Darlin hushes them, “it’s over. You’re home, you’re safe. I’m here, just- stay still and breathe.”

Darlin understands fully well what it’s like to feel like they were ‘under Quinn’s control’ with how much they obsessed with taking him down. They’ve even snapped a few times- with each punch tank was just reminded of themselves. And despite the blood seeping from their nose, or the formation of bruises on their chest and face- Darlin knew it was still Angel. They were home, that’s all that mattered.

“It’s not your fault” is what had Angel breaking the most. It’s not often that Darlin is this gentle, that rough exterior is enough to set the rest of the pack in the opposite direction. But for some reason, the shifter found safety with their alphas mate.

“I still shouldn’t have hurt you.”

“I’ve had worse,”

Vampire!Angel and Darlin sparring in general just- PLEASEEEE. Angel who’s all sweet and innocent on the outside but then so fucking bloodthirsty in a fight.

Sweetheart and Angel are the type of character to punch someone unconscious and go “fuck that felt good” and have their bfs all 😳😳 SAME SHIT WITH FL I JUST KNOOOOW THEY HAVE SOME PENT UP ANGER

(It’s absolutely pouring rain where I’m from right now so here’s some rainy scenarios with the boys)

Milo holds Sweetheart during storms- every.single.time. It doesn’t matter where they are, these two are in each other’s arms. Not because they’re afraid, but they get so sleepy during heavy storms and just want to be in each other’s presence. (Plus Milo gets a lil jumpy sometimes through thunder and Sweetheart demands that they hold him)

Angel gets jumpy during storms despite reassuring David that they’re completely fine. They love watching the rain and hearing light thunder, but once some lightning strikes? Yeah right under the covers they go. Davey gets super grumpy about the whole thing and picks them up into his arms and gently talks to them. (He has such a relaxing voice ofc they knock tf out)

Asher just wants to go outside and jump in puddles- to which Babe acts like isn’t the cutest thing they’ve ever seen. He gets rly romantic and hungry so he sets up a whole pillow fort in the living room and holds Babe close.

If it gets super dark during the storm, Sam and Darlin are going on runs- and being extra careful of course.

Same for Vincent and Lovely (they’re absolutely the couple that dances in the rain laughing like maniacs) Sam watches them just rolling his eyes and grinning.

BUT LIKE IMAGINE SLEEPY RAINY AUDIOS SOFT BREATHING AND GENTLE KISSES (extra for Milo and sweetheart) ugh those two are completely wrapped around one another when they’re tired.

Freelancer gets super nervous during storms (reminds them of Kody- or when Kody would sneak up on them) so they like someone to at least hold their hand for a lil bit- and of course Gavin is glad to:

Lasko saw them getting really anxious around heavy storms/rain and he immediately knew why. He swallowed his anger towards Kody- the reason they were so antsy in the first place- and tried to help them in the best way possible. And of course that way was binging entire Netflix series in a whole day. Laskos rambling soothed the ache of anxiety and set aside room for relaxation- these two canonically cuddle there’s no way they don’t shhhhhhhh.

Damien is confused at first- as is Huxley, but they overheard Lasko talking about it a while back- who freaked out they got during storms- not necessarily scared- but incredibly on edge. HUXLEY TRAPS THEM IN GROUP CUDDLES WITH DAMIEN <33333

Gavin loves holding freelancer 10/10 hums them to sleep while petting their hair :)))

WHAT IF SOME VAMPIRE BITES CONTAINED VENOM??? Like what if those large ass fangs store poisonous magic that could literally kill someone depending on how much they use.

-THE VENOM IS USED AS A TORTURE METHOD- and it can physically show it spreading throughout the veins in a persons neck (or wherever they were bit)- the veins turning a dark purple or even black depending on how much venom was used.

Now imagine Quinn using a little bit of this venom on Darlin just to watch them collapse and writhe in pain below him, smiling and teasing them on how ridiculous they looked. OR -Alexis biting Sweetheart (I hc that cannon Alexis works with Quinn) keeping them on the verge of death from the amount of venom used, and leaving their shivering whimpering form for the pack to find- preferably Milo <3.

Honey had always been sort of disconnected from the pack like Darlin was HONEY AND DARLIN WERE FRIENDS- (more hcs below)

Quinn saw Honey as a challenge over overcome, especially after Darlin was out of the picture. He was trying to go through each of the packs strongest members before taking on their Alpha.

I said this once and I’ll say it again HONEY IS FANDOM!DARLIN LITERALLY- I’m trying not to piss off Darlin stans here…………………………. …….but it’s true.

Quinn keeps his distance between Honey and Darlin to scare them, now they have something to lose. HONEY PROTECTING GUY FROM QUINN:

That’s absolutely how Guy found out Honey was a shifter: Quinn had pinned Guy to an alley wall, fangs scraping against his neck until this large ass wolf tackled him.

Honey is pretty much the exact same size as Asher when shifted, their fur is a mix of dark brown and light blonde LIKE ITS SO PRETTY FOR NO REASON. Their eyes are a pale yellow- LIKE HONEY

They work at the same office as Aaron and Ollie, Honey wears tight white or black button downs and loose dress pants to work and it is HOT. Like they work around all these unempowered humans, a mf shifter just loving being around these idiots. Aaron and Honey are the same fucking person everyone shut up.

Honey is super reserved even towards Guy because they’re afraid of getting too close to someone, especially considering their attachment to Quinn.

If Quinn ever hurt Guy Honey would break up with him. Honey is absolutely the type to disconnect from someone entirely to protect them.

Honey and Darlin used to go to TONS of concerts together with Gabe, specifically hard rock- Gabe’s favorite. Darlin and Honey in a mosh pit….

Honey and Christian HATE each other they absolutely do NOT get along.

-Honey and Darlin had a fight after both getting attacked by Quinn and Darlin threatened to use Guy as bait and Honey almost killed them- like I’m fr David and Ash had to break them apart.

-Honey was having an AWFUL day when they met Guy- like in their oddly fancy dress clothes at a pizza place when Guy was manning the front counter. He was super flustered looking at them when they put in their order (ordered for their branch).

…..He put his number on the pizza box…. Honey was checking if their order was right while sitting in the car and noticed.

Marie taught Honey healing magic after a fight with Darlin.

Honey still hasn’t reached out to the pack even after meeting Guy and getting in a comfortable position in their relationship, but Marie texts them to check in every now and then. Pack mama misses them fr

Honey wears a letterman all the time and collects patches that include: Shaw Security, a lil pizza patch on the arm, tiny wolves scattered throughout the jacket, their favorite bands and TV shows.

Honey LOVES reading, Guy will lie down on their lap while they read, or at least lean on their shoulder and try not to act like he isn’t bored out of his mind.

Guy hates silence so much, he always needs to fill the noise- it kind of comforts Honey sometimes though- they need to know that he’s there and alright.

Honey gets frequent nightmares from encounters with Quinn and has never told Guy- or at least he hasn’t noticed yet.

Honey misses Guy SO MUCH every time he’s at work, especially when he does frequent overtime. They act like they were doing something else- which they were/ but it was mainly to distract themselves from missing Guy. When he’s home and gets on the couch next to them, they’re all over him.

UGHHHH THEY JUST CLING TO HIM AND ACT LIKE JT WAS JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE TIRED OR IT LOOKED LIKE HE NEEDED A HUG.

Honey is def touch starved, and afraid to ask for affection. Their pride gets in the way.
