It makes me doubt that anything they say now is true. Will bbrae happen in a canonical format for the first time in almost ten years? I want to hope yes, but knowing how DC has let us down before, you almost know that it’s not going to happen....

BBRae Week 2020

First order of business is what week we will have it. Since it seems we have a bit of... disease going around, it’s only fair that we wait until it seems like this will have passed. So the current plan is sometime in July. So the following weeks are what we are thinking:

July 6-12

July 13-19

July 20-26

We will have a poll up in a couple of days, but let us know if you know if any other “weeks” are planned for this time frame. Don’t want to double book.

Unpopular opinion: Beast Boy deserves better

The number one thing I hate about people who talk about Beast Boy these days is that he’s depicted as either immature or, as CBR called him, a “womanizer”.

There’s more to him than just what Wolfman painted him as, and it pisses me off that people still think so lowly of him. The guy turned into fricken Godzilla. He’s turned into a phoenix. He turned into creatures that didn’t even exist going after his adopted mother’s killer. He’s turned into multiple different creatures that aren’t even of this earth, and all you can say about him is that he’s immature?

That either says that you a) hate him only because you know the characterizations of him that are shitty, or b) you just haven’t read good comics.

C’mon guys. You can do better.
