You are not supposed to connect with everyone. You are not supposed to befriend everyone. You dont like everyone, not everyone will like you.

Build strong sense of self. Be mentally and emotionally strong. I personally use Stoicism for the tools to manage my life. If you are a water dominant native, dont exist without emotional shield.

Humans work on a pattern. Identify the pattern, predict the reaction, it is easy to read people once you know how people think and feel.

You do need a little bit of external validation, external approval, narcissism. I isolate myself out of fear that I will be hurt emotionally, but i cannot live in isolation. I have to put myswlf out there. This is important for my spiritual growth.

Toxic people are everywhere. Accept this and move on with your life, albeit you become toxic yourself. If you always gossip about toxic people, whats the difference between you and them?

Have courage to assert boundaries. Have self confidence. Toxic people run a mile from you when they see they cannot influence you, you are not gullible, you wont buy their bullshit. It is as simple as that.

Do not be doormat. If you have trauma, take your time to heal it. Unhealed trauma is invitation letter to emotional predators. They can sniff it from your energy and vibes that you are vulnerable.

Forgiveness is powerful. It cuts the cords between you and your abuser. It is not my task to punish or teach lessons to bad people. It is God's work. Dont take system in your hands.

For all my trauma survivors, put a plug into your trauma wounds. Dont leave your wounds in open. If you do, predators will leech off you and you wont even realize. I picture a traumatized person like someone with nails buried in their chest. Healing means to take out each nail, let the blood and pus flow out, feel the pain and shame it brings, start healing those wounds and finally put some wax on those remaining holes. Do not expose your wounds otherwise more bad people will spot them and use them to hurt you.

Finally, create a life for yourself. I ruminated a lot on how bad people work. I delved into victim mentality until it got boring. It was much more fun to build a new life for myself and my loved ones. Build a new way of life. Build a new identity. This is the gift of venus in 8th house. To create a new lifestyle. To settle after storm.

When astrology brings people together. So many of us with similar life themes even though born in different times and places.

Life of 8th House Placements

Ever since they are born, they have been faced with extreme. Oftentimes too, the situation that lead to their birth is already near death and due to people's mistreatment. Permanent is something that's so tied with 8th house natives. 🌸 Trust me when I say this, I am Gemini moon, I was the typical funny, entertainer, chatty, comical, animated personality. But my life circumstances were such that I have become dark and introverted. I have learned to live with the injustice and unfairness. I don't seek revenge even. I am numb and indifferent.

🌸 If you are around a known toxic person, do not assume that you are an exception. You are not special to them. They will just treat you like everybody else when the time comes. No exceptions. You're just in their good books until they find someone better to manipulate.

🌸 Goddamn people lie. I am craving to meet a single honest person. People lie so damn much. They lie confidently, with eye contact and even call you a liar even if you have evidence for your truth. They lie about themselves to make themselves look good. No shame, no remorse, nothing at all.

🌸 I had a narcissistic shadow. I was selfish, entitled, victim mindset, attention hungry, entitled but it was covert and hidden due to my low self confidence. I was a low functional narcissist. When I saw bad traits in others then I started fixing myself too. I attracted toxic people because I was a toxic person inside and unknown to me.

🌸 Studying astrology, psychology, archetypes, spirituality has helped me a lot in mental development. But I still meet people who treat me bad even though I treat them good. The difference is that now I have a strong character & do not take things to heart. There is a "myth of normal and healthy". I don't think that human communities can ever be healthy like a utopia.

🌸 The world runs on a pattern. In astro community, I have learned that no matter if you are born in America or Japan or third world, your life theme runs on a similar pattern depending upon your birth chart, placements, etc. There are different models of occult in different countries but all people in the world have a birth chart & they do have similar life themes. Call it genetic model or birth chart, but humans are not different from each other.

🌸 I don't know what happens in afterlife. I do know that whatever we do have consequences. This is karma. Consequences are carried into next lives. They are also inherited by next generations. People can be short sighted and think that their actions will die with them. They don't know that 3 generations later, their great grand child will suffer from cancer because they committed such and such actions stupidly and selfishly.

🌸 Nature is indifferent to pleasure and pain. Sensory pleasure is not happiness either. Happiness is something else.

🌸 I don't know if nirvana or moksha or liberation are possible. I sure do not want to come back to earth again.

🌸 Fire sign placements can be really egoistic, super liars, arrogant bullies. They need to mature the most because their hypocrisy and self centeredness is appalling. The world is not their toy. People are not toys.

🌸 8th house is all about sudden and unpredictable twists in life. One day is peace, next day medical emergency, 3rd day sudden expenses, 4th day betrayal by family member, 5th day sudden loss of money, 6th day encounter with a manipulative person, 7th day sudden money gain, 8th day peace, 9th day again problem. Same happens yearly. Every year is a challenge for them. 8th house placements are hell of a ride.

🌸 Beware of energy suckers. Predatory people love victimhood. I have dealt with victim mindset, feeling sorry for myself, equating sympathy and pity with love for so long. I kept going from one predator to the other. I keep my expectations low while recovering. If someone does something for me it is a pleasant surprise but I did not expect that.

🌸 Finally, life is complicated. Shadow self is a funny thing. I hate traits in others but I have them within me. Hate them or hate myself? Self introspection is a constant journey.

Astro observations about Aries ascendant/ 1st house/ Aries sun/moon/mercury/venus placements:

I have seen a lot of Aries placements with a sense of self importance. Even if their attributes or achievements don't warrant it, they display a sense of superiority over others.

Their confidence is interesting. Even when they commit wrong, they don't back down or go in hiding. They either deny that they can do no wrong or come back with full force the next day.

With self importance comes entitlement and selfishness too. It is in the sense of wanting what others have, wanting all the thing to themselves, not caring about needs, wants, rights of other people.

If the fire energy is not balanced with water signs or water placements, such a person can go full Narcissist unfortunately. I met an Aries 1st house stellium who had at least 3 or 4 young girlfriends, 1 long term girlfriend and who did not like to take any responsibilities in life. Despite his wrongdoings, he refused to admit that he was wrong.

Their confident persona is not actually healthy either. Healthy confidence is rooted in awareness of strengths and potential, while confidence of Aries is just overwhelming, arrogance and depends on external approval.

Funnily enough, men with Aries placements can keep beard to showcase their masculinity. Everything they do is image maintenance. They create an image of who they are even if they are not that. I am water energy+earth energy, so I find them pretentious and really superficial. And they are! Imagine living your whole life just to impress others with a persona. The validation comes from within.

Since their confidence is consistent and unwarranted, society rewards them with material success. Aries find it easy to socialize because people fall for their arrogant persona. They can sell a scam if they want. The arrogance is in their favour. People also perceive them as capable, confident and proud. These qualities are associated with trustworthiness, leadership and strength.

Do they have insecurities? Sure yes they do. Who does not? Unfortunately, if they are not aware of their feelings, unlikely they will overcome their insecurities in this life. They will do everything to appear like a genuine person (persona) even though they feel like crap behind the mask in private life.

That is to say, aries placements can be very nice actors. They can give the appearance of something they do not feel. They can even convince you of something they are not. Their confidence makes them unabashed and often manipulative.

Relationship with an Aries unfortunately is not going to be deep or fulfilling, if you are looking for that. They can be go-getter with their persona and confidence.

Getting them to apologize or admit their wrong can be hard. Since they consider themselves superior to you for no reason at all, they can't even imagine scoring low or making themselves look weak. They must win every battle, no matter who is the wrong party.

If you want a super confident friend, Aries is the one for you. Since they will do everything to avoid looking into their faces, you are to find someone who does not show their insecurities or vulnerabilities. And no matter what happens, always stand strong and confident. This can actually be good for someone whose work is to deal with people because people like confident and charming persona. They also care a lot about their appearance. Perhaps a good deal of famous people do have Aries placements since it gives them the need to draw attention to themselves anyhow. They will always hold the upper hand in social situations. They always want to be the one with more power. The self proclaimed king or queen. Even more than leo, I have seen Aries with the overt me, me, me king narrative.

The need for self importance is strong. In one story, I met an Aries native who called himself "Ubermensch" (coined by Friedrich Nietzsche) even though his character was pathetic. It was just about him and his ego. He was all the great things without actually doing any work. This can be actually deceptive because we trust people at face value without looking deep into their lives. We actually get to know someone with time and observation, so they can get away with a lot of things in the short run.

What exactly does the 8th house venus look like?

By now, we are very aware of what venus in 8th house means and that it brings a lot of transformations in the lives of the natives. I will share my personal breakdown of how exactly i transformed with this placement and hope it connects with someone:

Firstly, venus in 8th house makes emotional life intense. I mean INTENSE. Crazy INTENSE. Obsessive. Dedication. Emotional overflow. And secretive. Secretive love life. Falling in "love" overnight, at first sight. Impulsive.

Venus is the significator of romance and love life. It is placed in the house of death and rebirth. What do you expect? Each relationship brings death - rebirth of the native.

It starts with the intense emotional life of the native. Comes a destined romantic interest. Native falls in infatuation. Intense obsession begins. Ohh-she is drowning in her own psychic ocean and it is red. Colour red. The colour of love and sacrifice. Of soul itself.

Rumination. Opening up about personal traumas. Sharing secrets with each other. Venus in 8th house lady gives her heart and soul to the man. She is not for the weak hearted. She is not for the casual affairs. She is the one to shake your soul, existence and make you question reality itself. Her love is passionate and dreamy. She is hard to forget because she dumps her emotions, soul and energy into you.

She is obsessed with the mental image of the love interest. Not the real man but his mental image. This is the twist. She thinks that the romantic interest is everything she has ever wanted. She thinks he is perfect. But really, she is just so emotional that logic is out of the window.

Romantic interest has psychic manipulative tendencies. It is almost certain that the lover is manipulative and controlling. Sometime in the relationship, the illusion breaks. As per the hallmark of 8th house = sudden, SHOCKING revelation! This man is not who she thought he was. 8th house is the house of taboo as well; the man turns out to be someone with a dirty character. Run, run, run.

The break up is sudden. Intense emotional breakdown. Crying herself to sleep. There starts a depression. Deep depression for god knows how long. Her trust is broken. Trust means everything to her. Trauma bond. The mental image shatters.

With depression comes mental breakdown. Ruminating about the whole relationship. What, how, why, where, when? Obsessively asking questions. This depression lasts for months and wipes away the memory.

Native is pulled into astrology, tarot and psychology to fix herself. She knows deep down that something is broken in her. She wants to fix what is broken. It is her destiny. After all, 8th house is also about healing the trauma.

Romantic obsession turns into spiritual pursuit. Depression wipes out the memories of the past self. "i dont remember who i was before" phase. Depending upon the rest of the chart, she starts building herself from ground up. A new person. A new self. New looks. New career. New way of life. New friends.

Long period of isolation - she loses touch with the external world. She sheds her skin in isolation - how can you born anew if you are not reduced to ashes first? She learns everything from rock bottom. Emotional control. Social skills. Relationship skills. Spirituality. Occult skills, definite interest in psychology, when she learns new information, skills, knowledge = she automatically rewires her system. These natives glow up. Generic prediction is = she becomes sophisticated. Dresed up fancy lady with shiny pearl necklace, femme fatale aesthetic, red lips and very ladylike.

Somedays she recalls her old self. The messed up, intense, manic pixie dream girl, broken she was. Now transformed into a new person. So, this is what 8th house transformation looks like. It is not just "magic"; it is actual hard work.

Astrology Observations

I know when astrologers discuss manipulation, Scorpio is the first to come up. But Cancer Mars can easily take the spot of the most manipulative sign placement. If poorly aspected, cancer mars can possibly use their sweet nature to gaslight you (without even realizing it a lot of the time). I am a Libra mars and I got into a fight with a cancer mars a while back and... I do pride myself for being diplomatic especially when disagreeing with friends and they were being so mean to a mutual friend. So I was “hey you really need to stop like that’s not cool you’re making them upset.” and THEY STARTED BALLING their literal eyes out and made it about them… I was like??? I set a boundary with you?? They also had significant Aries placements and I never got to look deeper into their chart so I’m not sure why that was for them. This is an extreme example ofc, so this isn’t always the case for this placement. Cancer mars can just get really emotional when angry which I understand because I’m a cancer AC and I can cry when I get mad, not out of manipulation just like my feelings get too overwhelming or I might quite literally feel ashamed and be really hard on myself. Cancer mars is also really protective over the people they care about like Mama Bear level. They are a water sign though so they can just be moody and hold resentments/not fully express their feelings. Cancers in general are just like so cute though it’s hard to stay mad at them.

Maybe I’m biased, but I love water sign ACs. Like Scorpio, Cancer, and Pisces AC are just look so dreamy. Especially Scorpio and Pisces like they just look like heart breakers in the best way. And a lot of times they are really nice! People are always so shocked by Scorpio AC too because they can seem really intimidating but then usually they want to talk about deep stuff with you and like really care about what you have to say. Of course this all depends on what is aspecting the AC, but I’ve had pretty good associations with water ACs.

A lot of people are super afraid of the 12H because of the potential problems that it can cause in the chart but the 12H is so cool! The 12H is ruled by Pisces, so I thought it fitting to talk about! This is the house of endings, but that’s not always a bad thing! Endings mean that you can make room for what better serves you. This house is also super helpful for finding out everything that could be hiding from you or eluding you. This means you can find your potential hidden enemies and having personal placements in the 12H can point to you being extremely intuitive or psychic. Just like Scorpio needs to master how to best control their passion which will unlock their power, Pisces/12H dominants just need to master their intuition so they can unlock their power of defeating deception.

Scorpio Moons get too much shit. It’s really time to stop perpetuating that narrative. Scorpio is just as weak in the Moon placement as Libra is in Mars. Everyone has challenges in their chart ppl! I’m sorry if you were ever slighted by a manipulative scorpio moon, I really am. But scorpio moons that have put in the work are so powerful, confident, and extremely accommodating and loyal to those that they give their love to. And I swear some of you will hate on scorpio moons while you have an 8th house moon or a poorly aspected moon yourself…
