The rain patters against the window of Chan’s apartment, a gentle rhythm that fills the room with its calming sound.

He sits on the couch, his attention focused on his phone as he idly scrolls through Instagram. You sit across from him, reading a book in a plush armchair. The soft glow of the overhead lights casts a warm, cozy atmosphere over the room and a sense of tranquil peace washes over the two of you as the rain continues its serenade outside.

You look up from your book, placing a bookmark on the page you were just reading before closing your book. “Hey love, it’s raining outside.”

Chan looked up from his phone, a small smile playing on his lips at your words. “It is, isn't it?” he replies, his eyes soft as he looks towards the window, watching the water droplets dance against the glass.

“We have the day off today, don’t we? We should do something fun, even in the rain, you know?”

“What do you mean?” You ask with a questioning look.

“Well,” Chan’s smile widens as he stands up, “It’s a cliche, but there’s something romantic about kissing in the rain. We should give it a try.” He moves over, holding out his hand for you to take.

You smile and take his hand, “You just want to make my book fantasies become a reality for me.”

Chan chuckles softly as he gently tugs you up to your feet, a glimmer of playfulness dancing in his eyes. 

“Of course I do, you deserve to experience those book fantasies you like to read and more.” He presses a soft kiss on your forehead before he intertwines your hands together.

“Let’s go and enjoy this rain, shall we?” he asks.

As the two of you put on your shoes and a jacket, you make your way outside.

The cold rain droplets hit your skin, and instantly your clothes start to cling to your figures from the moisture. Despite the cold weather, Chan leads you forward, a playful smile on his lips.

He takes your father out in front of the apartment building, away from the prying eyes of the other residents. A comfortable silence washes over the two of you, He pulls you close as he gently cups your cheek with his hand.

You slowly wrap your arms around his neck, leaning into Chan as you kiss.

Chan’s free hand instinctively wrapped around your waist, tugging you closer till not even rain could pass between you. The kiss was soft and slow, filled with tender love that you both couldn’t put into words. The rain gently pours down upon the two of you, adding a gentle rhythm to the kiss.

As you eventually pull away from the kiss you whisper “I love you.” you say as you put your head on his wet chest. “I love you too.” He responds.

“Now let’s get you inside, I don’t want you getting sick.”

Changbin was known for his rapping skills, fiery passion, and sharp wit. He helped Chan carry the weight of Stray kids on his shoulders, but his heart had remained partially hidden from the world.

That was until he met you. You were a vibrant soul with an infectious smile, you had unwittingly captured Changbin’s heart. You had been friends for months, but Changbin had held back his true feelings for you, unsure of how to approach the situation. However, fate had other plans.

“Hey Changbin! What’s up, I haven’t seen you in a while.” You ask with a bit of excitement in your voice.

Changbin’s heart fluttered at the sound of your voice. He turned around to see your radiant smile. “Hey, I’ve been great. Just prepping for our next comeback. You know how chaotic things get.”

“Yeah, it gets chaotic. My group goes through the same thing.” You reply

Changbin nodded, his gaze lingering on your face. “Ah, that’s right. You’re an Idol too. I forget about that sometimes. It must be really tough for you though. Juggling promotions, performances, and just keeping up with all the chaos. Especially since people expect more from female groups.”

“You should know just as well as I do by now, we just go with the flow.” You answer

Changbin lets out a hearty laugh, the sound echoing through the hallway. “You’re right. We’ve seen our fair share of ups and downs in this industry. Sometimes I wonder how we keep our sanctity intact.”

“Friends and sleep are how I manage to do everything.”

“Ah, sleep. The precious thing we never get enough of,” Changbin replied with a weary yet playful tone. “I rely on it just as much as our fandom relies on our songs. And friends? Well, they’re the real MVPs. They keep us grounded.”

You nod “Hey, how have you been doing with all the chaos? I know sometimes you forget to check in on yourself.” You ask.

Changbin's expression softened at your concern. “Honestly? It’s been a rollercoaster ride, but I try to not let it get to me much. I’ve realized that taking care of myself is just as important as taking care of the group. It’s a constant battle, balancing being the strong one everyone depends on and also remembering that I’m human too.” You nod your head in agreement “It’s very important to remember that… Do you have this afternoon off?” 

Changbin looked at his phone to check his schedule. “As a matter of fact, I do have this afternoon off. Why do you ask?”

“I just wanted to go somewhere that’s not our place of work to talk with each other, to catch up.” You reply

Changbin’s face lights up with a warm smile. “Sounds perfect! I could use some time away from all the hustle and bustle. So, where would you like to go? Somewhere quiet or someplace with a bit more action?”

“Somewhere quiet, for sure.” You answer.

“Alright then, how about we head to my favorite cafe? It’s a small, cozy place tucked away in a quiet alley. They have the best coffee, and it's perfect for some peaceful conversation.” Changbin suggested with a contented smile.

“Alright, I’m down. I’ll pay unless you want to.” You state feverishly

“I’ll pay! It’ll be my treat, dear.” Changbin replied with a chuckle, playfully bumping his shoulder against yours. “After all, I wouldn’t dare make such a captivating woman pay for her own refreshments.”

“Dear? Captivating?” You repeat back with a bit of shock.

Changbin chuckled, a hint of bashfulness creeping onto his cheeks. “Ah, you know me. I’ve always had a tendency to say things without filtering them properly. But yeah, you’re captivating, and I mean it. Your energy, your passion, everything about you captivates me.”

“So, you like me?” You ask teasingly

Changbin blushed even more, his voice tinged with a hint of playfulness. “Don’t tease me. You already know I do. But just to reaffirm, yes, I like you. A lot.”

You pause for a second, “I like you too.” You mumble slightly.

Changbin’s heart skipped a beat as he processed your words. A bashful smile spread across his face, and a light blush dusted on his cheeks. “You do?” He asks softly, a mix of surprise and joy in his voice.

“Mhm, how could I not? You’re a very easy person to fall in love with.” You reply. “Now, can we go get that coffee?”

One evening, you found yourselves caught in a sudden downpour. As the rain poured down, you and Minho huddled close under a single umbrella, your bodies slightly pressed together to not get drenched. You looked into each other's eyes, your hearts beating in a rhythm with the raindrops falling around you. “Kiss me.” Minho blurts out suddenly.

“I didn’t know you liked me like that.” You replied.

Minho chuckled, his eyes twinkling with a hint of playfulness. “How could I not? You’re smart and funny, and you have the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. Plus, I’ve lost count of how many times you saved my ass when it comes to Chan.”

“I mean, I guess that’s true. It’s just, you never seemed to like me back.” You added.

Minho used his free hand to grab yours, intertwining your fingers together gently. “I guess I was scared. Scared of ruining what we have scared of what fans would say about you. But right now, in this moment, with the rain surrounding us, and our hearts beating near each other, I can’t deny my feelings anymore.”

“You really like me?” You ask quietly. “You’re not messing with me? You really like me?” You ask.

“No, I’m not messing with you Y/n. I truly adore you.” Minho replied, his voice filled with sincerity. “I’ve spent countless nights wondering what it would be like to call you mine. You’ve been my best friend, the person I’ve leaned on while I was a trainee, you’re the one I want to spend every moment with.”

“What about your children? Do they approve of me?” You ask teasingly.

Minho smiled as you mentioned his beloved cats. “Of course, they adore you. Every time you come over they’re always all over you. They’re not like that to just anyone.”

“Well if your cats approve of me then I can’t say no.” You reply.

Minho’s laugh echoed in the rain, warm and genuine. “You have my heart and the approval of my cats. What more could I ask for?”

“What about that kiss you asked for earlier?” You tease.

“Oh right!” Minho grinned mischievously, his gaze locked onto your lips. “Well then…” He leaned in slowly, closing the distance between you. The rain continued to pour around you, but it felt like a veil protecting your secret moment.

As the kiss slowly came to an end you looked up into his eyes “Where did you learn to kiss like that?” You ask.

Minho smirked, his eyes dancing with amusement. “Let’s just say I’ve had some practice in the art of romance. But trust me, there’s something about you that made that kiss feel like the first time.”

You laugh nervously, “Alright, let’s go inside before we get sick, Chan won’t forgive me if I let you get sick.”

Minho chuckled and nodded in agreement. “True, we don’t want to incur Chan’s wrath. He’s already got enough reasons to nag me as is.”
