why did I say that when I knew I shouldn’t have. I ran outside and tried to get the car, but they were already gone. shit. I quickly ran back inside and picked up my phone from the coffee table. I went my contacts and clicked of their name. bringing my phone my ear. come on answer the phone. it was to voicemail. “fuck.” I said, before hearing the beep. 

“y/n, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said the things I said. It was wrong of me and I was totally out of place. please drive safe, don’t drive if you’re about to have a panic attack or if your too angry. I don’t want anything to happen to you. if you think we need a break, I understand. just know that I do truly love you. please be safe.” I said before ending the call. I ran my fingers through my hair, letting out a angry cry. I sat on the floor and just replayed our fight we had.

that was 4 years ago, no one has seen y/n. no call. no sightings of them, no car. the search for them lasted half a year before slowing into almost nothing. friends and family have came to the thought of them being dead, but everyone are wrong. y/n is going to show up and be okay. I knew them better than anyone. they always talked about wanting to move away without telling anyone where they were going. y/n always said that I was going to go with them but then our fight happened and now I don’t know where they are. y/n is okay, they’re not dead. they can’t be.

I woke up to my alarm going off. I sleepily turned it off and got out of bed. I walked into the bathroom and splashed water on my face before taking a look at myself in the mirror. messy bed head, sleepy eyes with dark circles. I sighed as I did my other bathroom duties. I walked back into my bedroom, feels empty still to this day without y/n. I made my way over to my dresser and got dressed for work. 

“hey changbin, how are you feeling today?” chan asked as I walked into the dance practice room. “okay, I went to bed late last night. I dreamt of y/n last night and had a hard tine staying asleep.” I said, putting my stuff on the table. “I’m sorry about that bin.” he said, patting my back before walking over to minho. I looked down at my phone and smiled at my wallpaper. a photo of y/n and I. them leaning into me, while I kissed them on the top of the head. I sat my phone down and walked over to the rest of the boys to stretch. today felt like it was going to be an extra long day and I wasn’t ready for it.

meetings, productioning, working out, dancing. interviews. the day kept going with my thoughts entering every time I wasn’t busy. I could tell the boys were seeing how my mood was falling throughout the day. 

sighing for what it felt like the millionth time. chan looked over to jisung with a look I could care less about. I just go home and wait for y/n like always. maybe they’ll answer the phone today. I didn’t realize I was looking down staring at my feet, zoned out. till something made me jump. I looked up to see chan right in front of me.

“are you sure you’re doing okay man?” chan asked with a worried look on his face. “yeah, I just keep thinking about y/n, a lot more than usual.” I said, messing my rings. chan sighed, “changbin. it’s been 4 years without hearing or seeing them. I think it’s time for you to accept that y/n isn’t coming back. that they’re most likely gone. forever.” chan said sadly. I took a sharp breathe as I felt tears prick to my eyes. I started shaking and shook my head no. jisung pulled me into a hug. that’s when I broke down into tears. “if they are, then y/n’s death would be my fault.” I cried out in jisung’s shoulder. “no it wouldn’t changbin. I know you two had a fight but we don’t know what happened after that.” jisung said, patting my head as I continued to sob. though his words were firm and loud, they didn’t meet my ears. my brain kept saying over and over, ‘it’s your fault.' making me cry even louder.

one more dance practice and the day will be over. “changbin you keep messing up the same move. try to focus.” minho said, I met his eyes in the mirror and nodded. the chorus of the song started over, I watched as our manager pick up the phone to answer a call in the corner of the room. I watched as his eyes widened before he calmed his expression quickly. we watched as he left the room. “they probably forgot to add something to our schedule again.” jeongin laughed out, making the rest of them laugh too. but at the same time, something didn’t feel right.

“boys we need to have a last minute meeting.” our manager said, guiding us the one of the meeting rooms. we all sat down at the table, waiting for what news to come. “this is going to be quick, but you guys are going on a week ‘break’.” he said, putting air quotations on the word break. “there isn't an easy way to say this but police found y/n’s car in the lake just right outside of town.” he said. I felt my world stop and my body numb in seconds. “they found remains in their car too. they need to identify if it is y/n.” he continued. the room was spinning. I’m going to throw up. I abruptly stood up, knocking the chair I was sitting in on the floor. everyone looked at me, I saw chan’s lips moving but I heard nothing. I shook my head and ran out the room.

I need to get home or somewhere that isn’t here.

bad dream. it’s a bad dream. I’ll wake up any moment. I kept telling myself that, running out the building and down the road. y/n’s gone. the one I saw spending the rest of my life with. the love of my life. I kept running till my legs gave in under me. I fell forward in the dirt, on my hands and knees with heavy breathing and just staring at the ground. car in the lake. dead. forever. I dug my fingers in the dirt and screamed my lungs out. my mind clouded over with questions that could never be answered. no happy ending. I sat up and looked up at the sky with blurry vision. 

“why! why did you take them from me!” I screamed out like anyone was going to hear. I looked back down and gave a ground one good punch. 

then I noticed were I was. the small quiet park that was way pasted my house and the dorms. the one I used to take y/n to. I felt my heart break even more. I felt my body closing in my itself. I laid down in the dirt. I felt like I couldn’t hold up my body. I just stared at the trees, the playground, and the flower bushes. crying, that’s all I could do. just cry.

what felt like hours, i just laid there. 

“changbin where are you taking me?” y/n asked as they walked beside me. i turned my head to them and smiled. “I think you know where.” I said. “is it the park?” y/n asked as their eyes light up. “yes it is.” I said, grabbing their hand and kissing it. “i’m going on the swings first! will you use me binnie?” they asked. “of course, why wouldn’t I.” I said as we finally made it to the park. y/n ran ahead of me, dragging me with them as they got to the swings.

they sat down and started to lightly swing. I smiled and walked around behind them. grabbing the cold metal chains, pulling back the swing. pushing it once it was high enough. hearing them laugh, making my smile hard at their voice. “hey changbin, guess what?” they said before going back in the air. “what?” I asked as they came back. “I love you.” they said quickly before going back up. feeling my heart skip a beat. they said it first. as they came back, I grabbed the swing making it swing side to side. “ah!” y/n said, hanging on tight. I wrapped arms around their neck and turned their head to me. I kissed their lips. strawberry lip balm on the their lips. “I love you too.” I whispered to them after I pulled away.

I finally had the energy to get back up. not knowing what time it was, I began my slow walk to the dorm. not having the heart to walk to a home that was meant for two. the sidewalk empty, the night sky still dark, and street lamps shining. I entered the building and went up to the level we live on. I got to the door and remembered I don’t have my keys or phone. I knocked on the door, hoping someone was up. very quickly the door swung open to a worried jisung. “chan, hyunjin! he’s here!” he called back into the apartment as he opened it enough for me to enter.

I hardly made it through the doorway when chan pulled me into the bone crushing hug. “where were you?” he asked when he pulled away. “at the park.” I answered, taking off my shoes. hyunjin rubbed my back to clean off the dirt. “you’ve been gone for 5 hours. it’s 3am.” jisung said. “okay. I just want to sleep guys, okay.” I said, pulling away from all them and going to my room. “alright. if you need one of us, we’ll be in our rooms.” hyunjin says. I nodded and walked down the hall to my room.

I closed to door and sighed. I looked around my room and saw my phone on the night stand. I walked over to my bed and got in. not even bothering changing before getting under the covers. I grabbed one of my pillows and held it tightly to my chest. 

“one day there is going to be a ring right here.” I said pointing to said finger, making y/n smile. “really? we’ve been together for 3 years. how many more till then?” they asked. I just shrugged my shoulders with a smile. “we are going to have a small wedding with all our friends. honeymoon to wherever you choose. then after a few years made a kid or two if we see fit.” i said, holding them close in my embrace. “oh, you’ve really thought about this?” they laughed out. I nodded and placed my hand on their cheek.

“I love you. your the love of my life. you’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.” I said, kissing them. y/n hummed into the kiss and grabbed the back of my neck as the kiss turned into to a make out scene. they pulled away and looked at me with so much love in their eyes.

“make love to me seo changbin.” they said.

I shot up out of bed. did I fall asleep? I can’t tell. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. 4am. it’s only been an hour? I got up from bed and deceived to go get something to drink. I entered the kitchen and opened up the fridge. milk, orange juice, water…I bent down and at the bottom shelf. 4 bottles of soju. I quickly grabbed one and went to open it.

taking a big gulp of the stinging liquor, before downing the bottle, I grimaced at the taste but went to go get a second bottle. very quickly all four bottles were gone. I sat on the floor against the cabinet. I laughed bitterly as I remembered I bought a ring. a waste of fucking money.

“hello how can help you?” a nice woman said as she walked over to me. “yes, I’m going for an engagement ring for my partner.” I said with a proud smile. “yes! they are right over here. what ring size are they?” she said as she walked over to the beautiful rings. I told her the size and also I didn’t really had a limit on price. I waited as she pulled out all sorts of rings. “all of them are very beautiful.” I told her “yes but only will be special enough.” she told me. 

40 minutes of taking my time of looking at rings. then one finally caught my eye. a very simple ring. their birthstone as the center and two white diamonds on each side. it made me instantly think of y/n. I pointed to the ring and said that’s the one. the lady smiled and helped me check out.

I hid the box in my desk, in one of the compartments. where I kept meaningless wires and miscellaneous items where I know they won’t look.

“changbin?” I heard, waking me from my daze. the kitchen light was now turned on but I couldn’t make out who was in front of me. “I bought a ring for y/n you know. I was going to marry them.” I said with tears in my eyes as I hiccupped. “changbin.” they said again as they walked over to me. “now it’s a useless ring.” I said as they helped me up. “did you drink each bottle we had?” the person asked me. I shrugged my shoulders as they put one of my arms over their shoulder.

“let’s get you to bed changbin.” he said as we walked back to my room.

the person helped to bed and under the covers. “thanks whoever you are.” I slurred. “I’m chan, changbin.” he said, tucking me in. I nodded my head as I felt my head become heavy, more drunk then I’ve ever been. “try to get more sleep changbin.” he said, turning off the light. he was about to exited as I quickly at up. “where’s y/n?” I asked, looking around the room. chan froze, his head hung down. “their gone changbin. remember what our manager said earlier.” he said with a sad tone. “no they aren’t.” I said, trying to get out of bed.

chan rushed to the bed. “no changbin.” he said firmly. “no I need to find y/n.” I said, fighting to get out of the bed. chan called my name again but I ignored him. “they’re probably scared.” I said. “changbin! y/n. is. dead.” chan said as tears in his eyes. I stopped and stared into chan’s. “they're gone binnie. y/n isn't coming back.” he said as the tears fell down his cheeks. then everything hit me a 2nd time. car. lake. y/n. 

I bursted into tears as chan pulled me into his chest. 

chan held on to his friend till he fell asleep in his arms. he carefully laid changbin down on his pillow and tucked him once again. he walked over to the door and took one last look at changbin. chan felt his own heart breaking at the state that changbin was in. changbin was already walking on a thin line with egg shells. with the news, it broke that line and now he was falling into the dark bottomless pit below. that he doesn’t know if changbin can climb out of. he can only hope for the best.

“changbin! changbin!” he said a voice say. he turned over with the cold sweats, his own body still trying to waking up. “changbin!” they yelled louder, making him sit up in bed. he was breathing heavily, he looked around the room. he was back in his house. “hey binnie, you’re okay.” he turned his head to his left and saw y/n. he nearly had a heart attack. moving away from them, almost sacred like.

“y/n. you’re alive? or am I dead?” he said, checking his own body. “changbin, you were just having a nightmare.” they explained, pushing my hair from my face. he shook his head. “no but we got into a fight and you left and dead.” changbin rambled. “no baby. I didn’t, I went for a drive and 10 minutes later came back home. you were already asleep in bed. I listened to your voicemail. we both said things we shouldn’t have and I’m also sorry.” they said. he couldn’t believe if it was real, so he slapped himself. and hard too. “changbin!” they said, grabbing my hand. “stop, this is real life. I’m okay. you’re okay. we are fine. alright.” y/n said. he nodded, but y/n wasn't having it. “I need a verbal answer bin.” they said. “yeah. we are okay.” he said with a light smile. y/n smiled and leaned in and kissed him on the lips. “I need to get ready for work. I’ll visit you and the boys on my break.” y/n said, getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom.

changbin collapsed back on the bed. it was all a dream. a very bad and long dream. then again, your dreams go by faster than in real life…at least that’s what the internet says. changbin laughed at himself. I knew it. all a bad dream. 

“he’s barely showed any improvement. one week he be okay and the next he’ll have to start all over. he is so far into his head.” the doctor said to chan. they watch as changbin laughs on the bed before he stands up and walks to the other side and acts out taking a shower. “the death of y/n really destroyed him.” chan said. “I really haven’t asked but what happen?” the doctor asked leaning on the wall, looking at chan.

“well they had been dating for 3 years. they were totally meant for each other. one day they got into fight. y/n left the house, got in their car and drove off. changbin tried calling them. what the cops think is that y/n tried to answer the call and wasn’t paying attention and their car ran off the road into the lake outside of town. they didn’t find the car till two years later, changbin was crushed, he was going to propose to them. he didn’t believe that they were in the car since there was no remains in the car but he still grieved. no where near this state he’s currently in. we had a funeral, he seemed fine at the time but he was already falling in his head.” chan said, he looked behind him and saw the other boys sitting across the room. waiting for him to come back with a update on changbin.

“then two more years passed, every now and then we would catch him talking quietly to himself. he always brushed it off as him thinking of song ideas. we were at practice one day and our manager got a call that they, the police, found y/n’s remains. when we were told the news, that’s what completely broke him. he ran off, minho ran after him to make sure he didn’t do anything. he said changbin ran to the park that him and y/n used to go to all the time. he just cried and punched the ground and laid down. I don’t even think changbin remember what really happened at night. minho brought him to our dorm and changbin just walked to his room.” he continued, picking at the dirt under his nails.

“I remember hearing glass coming from the kitchen and saw changbin sitting on the floor. shit faced drunk. I took him back to bed and he fought me saying he had to find y/n. I had to yell at him at she was dead and not coming back, which we both broke down crying. I held him till he fell asleep. then the next morning, he was gone. changbin was completely in his head and couldn’t come out of it. first it was only at home, then during practices, backstage of our performances, till he said something on live tv and that entire time, he was getting help. but it just didn’t work. that’s when the company had to remove him and place him here, we hoped everyday for him to come back to reality. but I don’t think he’s coming out of it. it’s been eight years since y/n’s death and he’s been in his head for three years.” chan said. looking at changbin who now in the center of the room stretching his arms.

“that’s a very upsetting story but we’ll try to get him back for you and the rest of stray kids.” the doctor said. chan smiled at him. “thank you.” chan said. “did you want to say hi to him?” he asked, pointing at changbin. chan saw changbin now doing the choreo to back door. 

chan shook his head. “we have tight schedule right now. only enough time to see how he was doing. but tell him we’ll see him next time.” chan said to the doctor, which he nodded to. he held out his chan to chan, “well I hope you have a good rest of your day.” he said. “thank you, you too.” chan said, giving him a hand shake. chan glanced at changbin once more before walking back to the boys.

he saw how the boys looked at him, with so much hope. chan just shook his head and watched as their hopeful looks turned sour. chan took a deep breath in and said the words he never wanted to say. but after three years, he wasn’t has hopeful as he first was.

“I don’t think he’s coming back to us boys.” chan said with tears in his eyes.

Prescriptions of Passion

On a crisp autumn morning, I started down Fifth Street from my apartment towards Cozy Corner Cafe. At a cafe that brought comfort to the start of what could only be an already-predicted crazy week. Everyone else was sporting their cozy attire, and here I was in my scrubs and clogs, with the only "autumnal" thing I had on being my cardigan. I opened the door to the cafe, making my way to the cashier to order my oatmeal milk latte and muffin. I sat down and pulled out my book, deciding I'd try and get a few chapters in before work. The bell sounded for the front door of the cafe to be opened. I didn't even glance up. Then, after about three minutes, a man sat down in front of me. I continued to read, not wanting to give this man the time of day. When he spoke, "You know I've been here several times, and I've never seen you before," How original I thought. I finally looked up to tell this man I wasn't interested, but I was immediately baffled by his beauty. His long blonde hair hit above his shoulders. His lovely-looking lips, I so yearned to kiss them... I shook my head, realizing I had been staring and blushing up my neck. He chuckled a bit at my flustered state. "I come in when I can before work." I state not being able to look at him. "What do you do?" He asked. "I'm a physician at the hospital here in the city." He was a bit stunned, but he saw my scrubs and nodded his head. "Do you enjoy what you do?" There was genuine curiosity in his voice. "I do. I like being able to help people and give them what they need. It feels good to know I did something for them, I guess." He smiles at me, listening as I answer him. "Well, since you got to ask, I got to ask too. What do you do?" He only smiled, knowing he was getting me more engaged in the conversation. "I'm a model for certain brands." Of course he is; why would he do anything else? I couldn't see him having a basic desk job somewhere. He chuckled at my silence. "What's wrong with being a model?" "Nothing fits the career well. It would have been odd if you had said you're the CEO of some company." He continued to smile at me, feeling the pressure of what to say next to me. I looked away. "Look, I think you're very beautiful, and I came over here to maybe ask you to dinner sometime." I almost chocked on my latte. "Me?!" I was both confused and stunned. No one besides my mom has ever told me I was beautiful, at least not to my face. This just made him smile more. "Yes you. I'd like to take you out if you're okay with that." I had never been on a date before. Too much of my time is taken up with work and school. I never had the time, let alone the opportunity. And yet here this model was asking me out. Me, your basic quite nerd. Not knowing how to answer, all I could muster was "Uuuummmmm." "What are you doing this weekend?" He decided to ask. Nothing. I had absolutely nothing. "I work until five." I quickly answered. "I can come pick you up at seven." He asks. "That should be fine." I blush. "Great, I'll pick you up at seven, miss." Oh my gosh, I agreed to go out with him before introducing ourselves! Who am I?! "My name is Y/N." He smiled, bringing my hand to his soft, plush lips and gently pressing a kiss on them. I could have died right then with how beet red I probably looked. "My name is Hyunjin. Hwang Hyunjin." I couldn't believe my day was starting off like this.

Chapter Two - New Feelings - MDNI

Paring: Idol!Lee Felix x Reader x Idol!Hyunjin (Some Hyunlix action)

A/N: Thank you all so much for the positive feedback on the first chapter of Snapshot! This is chapter two and I wanted to give you a bit more writing than the previous time! Please let me know the length of stories you prefer in the comments! Also, I'm trying to work on getting my flow and timing how I like it, so I'm sorry if anything in this seems a bit rushed! Also, please remember MDNI!!

Dance practice continued smoothly and after a while the guys stopped dancing, so you took a seat in between Hyunjin and Jeongin. “Can I ask you something?” You asked Hyunjin as you messed with the settings on the camera getting it set up to take some more behind the scenes photos. “Sure,” he smiled at you. “You can say no, but could you maybe teach me one of your dances?” You asked shyly still not sure even why you are asking. “I’m not that great but I have always wanted to learn and now that I’m around some of the best dancers I would ask if maybe you could help me learn.” You were rambling at this point, and you could feel the tips of your ears heating up as Hyunjin watched you. “Yeah, I could help you with that.” He says laughing the kind of laugh where he throws his head back. “Lee Know, Felix and I practice extra to make sure we have our dances down to help the others, I can help then if you would want to join us.” You nodded and leaned your head on him a bit which he didn’t seem to mind. “I would appreciate that thank you.” You listened as everyone talked and joked around your eyes slowly falling closed. The next thing you know you felt yourself shift a bit and something soft was placed over you.

Hyunjin placed his jacket over you as he laid you down on the couch. “Someone is worn out today.” Hyunjin said more to himself rather than anyone else. Chan noticed the younger man's smile toward you, “It's probably been an exciting and stressful day.” He said to Hyunjin and then added, “You seem to be fond of her, don’t normally let people fall asleep on you like that. The only other person you let do that is Felix.” Hyunjin nodded and laughed a bit. “Yeah, get the same feelings or well vibe with her as with him.” He corrects himself quickly trying to make it sound like he just vibes with you both not that feelings are involved. He hums before standing up. “Keep the music volume low, we should get back to practice.”

Hyunjin couldn’t help but watch you as they continued to dance and practice. He made sure everyone kept their volume low so you were able to stay asleep. He didn’t particularly understand why he felt protective over you this fast, the only other person he felt this for was Felix. He tried to focus on the dance, he would deal with his feelings and emotions later. He hasn’t even opened the box on how he feels about Felix and its been 2 years in the making, he has no idea how he’s going to deal with your box which has only been about 4 hours.

You woke up from a particularly loud shoe squeak and rubbed your eyes looking around slightly disoriented before you started to blush deeply realizing what happened. You grabbed the jacket over your body and buried your reddening face in it, breathing in the calming scent of fresh laundry. Hyunjin. Not sure how you already knew his scent, but you weren't complaining. You sighed calming down a bit and looked up at the man who was walking over to you. “Good morning,” he said with a soft smile. “I’m so sorry,” you blurted out “I didn’t get much sleep last night and I guess it all kind of caught up to me.” You rambled a bit and Hyunjin just laughed shaking his head. “Don’t worry about it, you’re more than welcome to take a nap.” You went to hand him back his hoodie and he pushed it back into your arms. “Keep it.” He smiled before going back and restarting the music to continue practice.

- Three Weeks Later –

A lot and very little at the same time has happened in the past three weeks. It has been a lot of moving your items into the dorm as well as getting to know the guys. You had gotten closer to the kids especially Hyunjin these past two weeks before they had to leave. The kids had just had to fly somewhere you believe in the states for an interview and a photoshoot and you were told you weren’t needed to go along since it was for a magazine. The nights leading up to their trip were filled with long nights of laughs, talking, and playing games. Late night conversations with Hyunjin and Jeongin made you feel accepted into the group in a way you had never felt previously. Honestly because of the late nights you and Hyunjin had grown close, and you began to form a crush on him. You were not planning to act on it since this was your first major photography job and you didn’t want to mess it up. However, little did you know, Hyunjin was also starting to have a crush on you.

You took this past week without the kids to get your room set us as well as clean up the dorms and restock the fridge for when they returned. All the food was on the company credit card, so you didn’t need to worry about money. The night the kids were supposed to come back you decided to cook dinner for them as a welcome home gift. You left a note on the counter telling the kids when they got home there was dinner already made in the fridge, in case you were asleep by then.

However, you were lounging in the living room wearing some sleep shorts and Hyunjin’s hoodie, from your first day, when the kids walked through the door. “Welcome home guys.” You said with a yawn rubbing your eyes. “You didn’t need to wait up for us darlin’” Changbin says as he goes to set his bag down. “I didn’t dinners in the fridge.” You smiled as you watched the boys happily go to reheat the dinner you made for them. You turned on a show that was generally liked by everyone and relaxed into the couch.

“We have dance practice tomorrow would you like to come, and we can start working on your dancing?” Hyunjin asked sitting down on the couch beside you and Felix sat on the other side of him. You hummed in agreement, and everyone fell into a comfortable silence. Your eyes flicked to Felix and sighed a bit as you saw him cuddled up to Hyunjin and it made you a bit sad he still hadn’t warmed up to you in that way.

You couldn’t help but let your thoughts spiral a bit about the fact that he might not like you, or that something might be putting him off of being close to you. You had tried to initiate some skinship a bit because you honestly loved it too, but he never seemed to want to reciprocate. You worried you might be making him uncomfortable and so this past week you had stopped trying as much. You leaned onto Hyunjin a bit and sighed, “Jin can I talk to you once everyone goes to bed?” You asked quietly. To everyone else it looked like you were just whispering in his ear, some of the kids had some suspicions about something more going on between the two of you. He nodded a bit and squeezed your knee where his hand rested.

The evening came to an end after laughs about the show and Chan saying the kids needed to get some rest since it was back to schedules the next day. You got up and patted Hyunjins head before heading to your room to wait for him. 20 minutes had passed and you were playing with the strings of the hoodie when there was a light knock on the door. You got up and opened smiling at Hyunjin, “Hey Jinnie.” You sat back on your bed crossing your legs and rubbing your hands over your face. “What’s going on?” he asked sitting across from you his hand placed gently on your knee. “Does Felix not like me” you asked weakly.  

He gave you a confused look “What do you mean?” He had never known Felix to not like anyone or at least not blatantly tell them. “I know I’m still new around here, but you all have warmed up to me pretty well, he hasn’t.” You say softly and it dawns on Hyunjin that you’re right. Felix has been distant with you and less receptive of cuddles and hugs. “Honestly y/n I have no idea, would you like me to find out?” He asked taking your hands in his, he didn't like seeing you upset over this. However, he wouldn't he kind of was jealous that you cared if Felix was touchy with you or not. He shook his head and focused back on you. You had been picking at your nails which is a nervous habit, you blush as he rubs his thumb over your hands. “Could you just talk to him and see if I did anything wrong? I’d like a chance to correct what I did if I made him feel uncomfortable.” You say softly and he nods rubbing your hands. “Of course, do you want me to talk to him now?” You fiddled with the rings on his hands a bit taking a deep breathe. “If he’s not asleep sure, but I don’t want to bother him with all this if he’s trying to rest.” “So considerate,” Hyunjin stood up and placed a kiss to your forehead unexpectantly. “I’ll be back, maybe with Felix if things go well.” He says softly leaving you in your room, your facing heating up from the small action of him kissing your forehead.

Hyunjin walked down to Felix’s room and knocked lightly popping his head in. “Hey you still awake?” He saw Felix sitting at his computer with his headphones on. “Yeah, what’s up Jin?” Felix asked taking off the headphones and turning toward where Hyunjin sat on his bed. “So, I guess being forward is the best way to handle this. Do you not like y/n or did she do something to make you uncomfortable?” Felix scrunched his face at the question, “No, she is great! I think she’s extremely talented and respectful of us!” He says still a confused expression on his face. “Well, is there a reason you’ve been distant with her? Is it because she’s a new addition to the group?” Felix face scrunched more, and he shook his head. “I was trying to avoid making her feel uncomfortable and in the process I did it anyway.” He sighed running his hands over his face much like you had done earlier. “Lix explain to me what’s going on please” Hyunjin said noticing the younger males’ distress again not liking how he was stressed about this.

Felix sighed and looked down, playing with his own rings. “I overheard some staff before y/n started, they were talking about how the amount of skinship I show makes them uncomfortable and how I made them not want to work with is anymore.” He says gently tears filling his eyes, this is the first time he's spoke about it. “I just didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable and decide she didn’t want to work with us, especially after hearing chan-hyung say how much he liked her work.” Hyunjin felt his whole body soften for the man in front of him, he got off the bed and squatted down in front of his taking the man's cheeks into his hands rubbing away the tears that had begun to fall. “Oh baby, I’m so sorry you had to hear that, you could have come talk to me or Channie, you know we love your skinship and we would have helped.” He whispered feeling sadness for the man who just wanted to make everyone feel loved and happy. “But I do think you need to talk to y/n if not tonight then tomorrow, okay? She wants skinship from you Lixie, she thinks she did something to make you uncomfortable.” Hyunjin says softly still rubbing Felix’s cheeks as the younger sniffled and nodded. “Okay, I don’t think I can tonight, but I will tomorrow. Thank you, Jin.” He said softly placing his hands over the olders. After a few moments Hyunjin stood and placed a kiss on Felix’s forehead. “I’m going to go tell her you’ll speak with her tomorrow, please try to get some sleep Lix.” Hyunjin smiled before leaving.

Felix face broke out into a blush as he watched Hyunjin leave. He honestly had the biggest crush on him and when he did things like that it made him remember why he liked him so much. He shook his head to get those thoughts out of his head and crawled into the bed to get some rest for tomorrow it was going to be a long day.

Hyunjin came back to your room and smiled lightly. He sat down on the edge of your bed and took your hands again rubbing his thumbs over them. "Does he hate me?" You asked quietly when you noticed Felix wasn't with Hyunjin. "No sweetheart, he just has a lot going on himself which is for him to explain. He told me he would speak to you in the morning or tomorrow at some time." He says gently and yawns, "I think it's time for both of us to get some sleep." You bite your lip as he goes to get up and you grip his hand softly. "Don't leave Jin." He looks at you with wide eyes before nodding and he crawls into the bed beside you. You cuddle into his side, and he rests his cheek on the top of your head breathing softly. "Get some sleep sweetheart." He says gently as he watches you drift to sleep. This definitely wasn't going to help his feelings for you, but he knew he couldn't resist.

The next day came, and you had gone into the kitchen early that morning to get everyone something to eat since they had a busy day of schedules. You were nervous for today seeing as Felix was supposed to talk to you about what's been going on. "Mornin' can we talk?" Felix's deep morning voice breaks your thoughts, and you turn around nodding. "I'm just making some breakfast for everyone to make sure they at least get one meal today." Felix can't help but smile because you're so thoughtful. He hops up on the island and sits watching you. He begins to explain what happened before you started working with them and the reason, he has been so distant with you. "Oh," you say softly and nod as you take the skillet off the oven and turn to Felix. You take a few steps closer to him and he allows you to slot yourself in-between his legs. "But I like this." You say softly as you take his hands and play with the silver rings on it. "It makes me feel nice and warm." You say softly and finally look up to meet Felix's eyes. "I- as long as you're sure Y/N, I can start being with you like I am the others." He says hopping down from the island which causes your bodies to press against each other. You let out a small gasp and Felix can't help be smirk he swaps your bodies and quickly picks you up setting you on the counter. You let out a squeak and your face heats up. "Now sit there and let me finish cooking okay?" He says and places a quick kiss on your cheek. Your face heats up as you rub your cheek once he has turned around.

Once the kids all come out and leave for their separate activities of the day, you are left in the dorms with Felix and Hyunjin. "Ready to get to the practice room? Minho said he had to do some recordings with Chan, so it'll just be the three of us." Hyunjin says smiling watching you and Felix cuddled up on the couch. It was like nothing had ever happened and Lix was back to being his normal cuddly self. "Come on cuddle bugs." The older man laughs grabbing all three of your bags and heading to the dance room which the two of you quickly follow.

A/N: Thank you so much for waiting and for the positive feedback from the first two chapters. This is my first time in about 8 years writing NSFW content so if its not the greatest that's why! I'm definitely starting off small with the scene before jumping in full force! Also thank you to my friend for proof reading / helping me flesh some ideas out! Enjoy!

You followed behind Hyunjin laughing with Felix about some video he was showing you. Hyunjin was happy to see you both connecting in this way, but he still felt a bit jealous to not be the focus of both your attention. He had woken up this morning with you in his arms and now you were laughing with someone else like he didn’t exist. “Come on guys.” He says setting the stuff down in the practice room and sitting down to stretch. You followed Hyunjin’s directions, never taking your eyes off him as he instructed you on the proper way to stretch so you didn’t get hurt.

Hyunjin stood up to stretch his upper body and smiled at you. “I’m glad you both are feeling better.” He said as he watched you and Felix talk about something he didn’t really understand. You smiled brightly and stood up, going over and wrapping your arms around the taller man. “It’s all ‘cause of you Hyun!” You said with a giggle, kissing his cheek causing him to blush. “Yeah Hyun, it's all because of you.” Felix teased the nickname you had used as he stood up to go turn on the music. “We are going to start with just some warm up dances that we normally do after longer breaks.” Felix says as he begins to dance to the song. Hyunjin notices the way you are watching the two of them in the mirror. The light blush dusting your cheeks and the way you can’t seem to stay still. He smirks a bit and looks subtly at Felix who is also watching you in the mirror. He hums to himself thinking he might have caught on to you checking them out. He starts to think back on the last few weeks and the fact that you have been extra cuddly with him, more than the other 7 guys. He also thinks back to last night, you asking him to stay with you threw his feelings for a loop, but he thinks you might have the same ones. 

They go through the song a few times with you just watching before they have you join so that they can figure out where you are skill wise. You catch on fairly quickly, glad you took a few dance classes a few years ago that helped with this moment. You wanted to impress them, honestly you were having some odd feelings about liking and enjoying watching both the men in front of you. Eventually the music fades for the fourth time and you sit down on the couch already exhausted. You blush as you look up seeing Hyunjin tie his hair up and Felix push his sweaty locks out of his eyes.  “I thought you said you had never danced before?” Felix says, smiling brightly, grabbing everyone a bottle of water. “Oh, I took a few dance classes back in the states but I never did anything further.” You said as Hyunjin sits beside you and Felix decides to plop down on the floor in between your legs. You can’t help but smile at the fact that he’s been more cuddly with you and he truly seems to be okay with doing it as well. 

Hyunjin watches as your hand moves through Felix’s hair pushing some behind his ear and he can’t help but smirk a little cause he knows how much the younger male likes that. Felix leans back onto the couch yawning as he closes his eyes, taking a little rest. He shivers as your hand moves down through his hair making a light blush on his cheeks, you don’t notice but Hyunjin does. He definitely can tell you have some type of crush or feelings for him by the way you’ve been acting and now he has the thought you feel the same about Felix. There continues to be some light conversation and some light flirting happens between everyone as Hyunjin and Felix compliment the way you move and how you dance. As this is happening Hyunjin gets an idea and decides he needs to talk to Felix to see if he’s game to test his theory. As he is trying to think of a way to talk to Felix without you overhearing, you tap Felix’s head. “Get up silly, I need to use the restroom.” He moves to your spot once you get up leaning his head on Hyunjin’s shoulder. “Hm Lix, I have a feeling our new photographer has some developing feelings for us.” He says, causing Felix to sit up wide-eyed. “Shit Hyun always so fucking forward” He mutters as he looks at him softly. “But, you really think so?” Hyunjin nodded, “The way she was watching us says enough.” He looks at the younger male, “B-but both of us are you sure?” Felix stutters and then starts muttering about how that would even work and wouldn’t someone end up getting hurt in the long run and that he couldn’t do anything if it would hurt Hyunjin. Hyunjin stopped his rambling and chuckled. “Let me worry about it, if you trust me I want to try something okay?” He asks the other male who nods quickly. “Of course I trust you Hyunjin.” 

You come back in and smile at the two males, finishing off your water. “Okay we are going to kick things up a notch, you can watch a few times and see if you can pick up like you did with the practice dances. Hyunjin said as he got up and went to switch the music on the laptop. Him and Felix got up into position beside each other. Your eyes widened as the intro to Taste started to play and a blush spread across your cheeks. You had wanted to learn a song of theirs but, this is not the song you were expecting.

“Fake eyes open” 

The song rang through the surround sound as your eyes focused on the two men in front of you. You had watched this dance a hundred times but getting a literal show of it had your breathing picking up and you discreetly pressing your thighs together. You wished you had worn pants instead of shorts today cause it made the action more visible.

“Just look at me, babe, day and night”

Your heart was beginning to race faster as you noticed Hyunjin was watching your reaction in the mirror. This made you blush and you tried to stop squeezing your thighs and focus on their dancing. You were failing miserably. Hyunjin thought he picked up on your behavior changing a bit while watching them dance but he wanted to get you a bit more worked up before he acted on it.

After watching through once Hyunjin came over and got you, “Okay just follow us.” He said as he began showing you the dance moves. You were picking up on the moves and were doing pretty well until your attention focused on one of them. That's when he watched as you fumbled a bit on the parts where you had to move your hips. He wondered what was going on in your head to fumble during these parts. After the 4th time you missed the mark on your own hip movements because you were too distracted by theirs, he was a bit frustrated, though not angry. He decided to take matters into his own hands, in a more literal sense. “Y/N, I know you know how to move your hips.” He grumbled, and moved behind you, grabbing your hips. You let out a soft gasp as he moved your hips to the music’s beat. At the same time he essentially grinded your hips against his own making you break out into a deeper blush when you felt he was semi-hard through his sweats. Hyunjin let out a soft breath before looking at Felix, whose eyes were wide and blown out, obviously affected by what he was seeing. “Tell me to stop,” He muttered as he placed a soft kiss on your neck. Instead of stopping him you pushed your hips back into him making him chuckle. “I knew you could use your hips baby.” He smirked looking at Felix motioning for him to come over. Hyunjin’s head was going crazy, “You wanna stand there and watch or come over here too?” He asked Felix who nodded, blushing deeply. Hyunjin smirked, his eyes fully on you looking for any sign of disinterest in the suggestion or discomfort. He would stop immediately if you even seemed the smallest bit uncomfortable. However, you seemed game for it too when your hands went to Felix’s chest as he walked over. “Are you going to help too, Lix?” Felix watched as your hands rubbed over his chest and he looked to Hyunjin for direction. “Kiss her neck like this.” Hyunjin said, demonstrating on the other side of your neck what Felix should do. He did as he had shown him and Hyunjin turned your head and placed his lips on yours kissing you with a heated rush. Your hips pushed back into Hyunjins as you kissed him back quickly feeling him fully hard against your ass. You couldn’t help but smirk at the fact that you did that, your hands on Felix’s chest moved under his shirt. Feeling his warm chiseled body against hands made you shiver with the thoughts of what was to come. 

“Do you want to get on your knees for us baby?” Hyunjin asked wanting consent from you before they did anything further. “Yes, god yes.” Felix moved so he was beside Hyunjin and you turned to face them before slipping down onto your knees, feeling both of them over their sweats. “You have us both so worked up, pretty.” Hyunjin smirked as one hand went to your hair as you pulled down their sweats revealing both of them to the cool air in the dance room. You let out a small gasp at the sight of them. Hyunjin was definitely bigger than Felix but both were decent sizes. You were honestly in a bit of shock that this was actually happening as you began to stroke them both to the rhythm of the song playing through the room. You hummed and placed soft kisses onto Felix’s tip causing the younger man to whine out. God you could get used to that sound. You looked up to him for permission and once he nodded, you were slipping your mouth around him causing him to moan out your name. Hyunjin watched and couldn’t help as he got more turned on by what he was witnessing. 

Hyunjin placed his hand on the back of Felix’s neck causing the younger to look his way. Felix’s blown out eyes were something Hyunjin wanted to see more often. He smirked at the thought of that happening. “Tell me to stop,” He muttered again to Felix this time as he leaned in, placing his lips on the younger males. Felix was in heaven at this point trying to focus on you and Hyunjin, he let out a soft whimper at something you were doing causing Hyunjin’s tongue to slip into his mouth. Felix pulled back to look down at you, he was met with your eyes and a view that made him nearly cum. “I don’t actually know, ‘cause it felt like I got drawn into each memory as I went through them all. I feel like I’ve always had you by my side...you’re so warm, you know?”

you hear him sniffle but a soft laugh escapes him anyway and he moves back to look at you. he scoffs, shaking his head.

“is that all I am to you? a sentient heat pack? a glorified hot water bottle, even on my birthday?” he clutches his chest dramatically with one hand and sighs. “and all this time I thought you loved me for who I was inside.”

you both break out into laughter, but you hug him again and whisper your next words against his neck.

“I didn’t mean physically warm. I just meant everything - your smile, your laugh, even the way you cry so easily-” he whines, smacking your arm, and you giggle. “everything about you radiates warmth and light. even if you do dress like emo me in high school.”

he doesn’t respond because he can’t find the right words to tell you just how much he adores you, and how all that warmth you find in him is reflected in your own heart.

it’s okay, though. you know exactly how he feels; words can’t accurately describe your love for him either.

all you know is that this moment - warm in his arms on his birthday, memories and happiness dancing around the room in the form of flickering candlelight - is perfect.
