I have fallen ill, so I made this.
And finally a fully finished version of Alastor. I realized my dumb ass forgot to finish the lighting and details on his monocle. So, here he is! In all his fully rendered glory!
(I left the one I originally posted up in case anyone likes that one better as well.)
Inspiration can take many forms - music, a story, another piece of art. For me, the thing that got me out of my months of art block, was the Haikyuu movie.
Ya'll seen the Haikyuu movie? If you get the chance, see it. It's f*ckin awesome.
Anyway, here's these two. Wanted to do something relatively simple to get back on the horse after not doing art for so long. Kenma's face when he gets excited is hilarious. Freaked my mom out in the theatre lol.
The Dollmaker: probably one of the creepiest villains from DC, at least in my opinion. Bro turns his victims' corpses into dolls, was raised by a cannibal, and made his mask out of parts of his fathers face. WTF.
Some of the villains in Gotham could legit have horror movies made about them - this guy is definitely one of them.
Anyway, yet another addition to the DC project I'm working on.
They're best friends.
