This Anti, Who Routinely Reblogs And Shows Support For Sending People Death Threats, Rape Threats, Infertility

This anti, who routinely reblogs and shows support for sending people death threats, rape threats, infertility threats and other much arguably more harmful content than fanfiction will ever be, broke their own DNI to reblog one of my posts, and when called out on their hypocrisy, blocked me and made this post.
Ordinarily, I'd let it go, but I'd like to use this instance to be blatant about why self-proclaimed proshippers tend to see antis as unreasonable hypocrites who cannot be seen as honest examples of the beliefs they uphold.
Because they don't. Uphold them.
(And, ironically, they use one of the core beliefs of proshipping in their own post attempting to avoid accountability for their own actions. If you don't like something, ignore it.)
@liashxlie, if you're ever open to having an actual discussion about this, feel free to unblock me. You have so much to say when nobody talks back. I'd love to see what you have to say when you're not just spouting violence and running away.

Listen. I can't stop you from reading a post that gives a very specific piece of information or statement and then completely misunderstanding it and being resolute that it means something it doesn't.
But.
I wish I could.

Rage. In my heart. All-consuming. FUCK AI.
Found you bc of your post a out tony fucking peter at a 24/7 McDonald's and HEY do you have any good starker recommendations ?
I will be fully honest, Starker is more something I ship out of spite and will defend with my last breath solely because I've seen some of the things Starker shippers have to go through. I'm not even sure I have any in my bookmarks.
I'll tag this with Starker though and hopefully some actual shippers can share their recommendations. I wasn't really involved when it was a more active ship, but I do know there were quite a few 'iconic' fics and authors going around.
I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful on this!
People do not owe you constant justifications of their media consumption.
People do not owe you constant disclaimers about their media consumption.
People do not owe you constant defence of their media consumption.
People do not owe you constant moral flag signalling about their media consumption.
People do not owe you constantly having to explain how or why they're consuming specific media.
People are not obligated to jump hoops in order for you to validate what they consume in media. You are not a dictatorship on who can consume or enjoy media and how. Nobody has to constantly 'prove' they're consuming media in a 'right' or 'healthy' way.
Someone enjoying or consuming X type of media does not come with the inherent obligation of being expected to perform virtue signalling and grovelling to prove they're not a bad person for it.
Nobody is obligated to defend, validate, police or justify their media consumption.
in light of that ask you got, i just wanna say- as a CSEM victim, there is nothing more ridiculously fucking disrespectful than people who call drawings of fictional characters "drawn CP". i hope everyone who does this, and especially people who send you threats over telling them that's wrong, is ashamed of themselves. thanks for doing what you do.
The unfortunate reality is that I can genuinely understand the perspective a lot of antis have. We grow up being told things are irrevocably bad with absolutely no nuance, and it sets us up for failure in circumstances like these unless we choose to do our own research and investigations and are willing to educate ourselves out of the blanket statements and ignorance we were raised in.
Most antis have the perspective that victims who don't decry fiction are simply damaged or changed or converted by their trauma, and thus lose their validity and right to a voice when we contest that actually, what they're doing isn't protecting us. Its harming us. By their opinions and actions we are no longer 'worthy' victims.
It did make me laugh a little that that person outright said with their entire heart that an organisation that's been dealing with actually protecting children and victims for literal decades isn't right or valid for stating that fictional content does not violate any law and is not morally or otherwise classified as CP.
Because. Y'know. Its their job to decide what is and isn't. And to prosecute and protect.
And the thing is... Even if the drawings are being made by a genuine, actual pedophile... I still don't see the issue. They're using art as an outlet and a coping mechanism to avoid harming real people. Are all those antis telling me they'd rather pedophiles harm real children?
Having a proper outlet does not encourage harm. Trying to bottle up your desires with no release does. There's a reason almost every single in-patient treatment facility and prison have art or literature as a therapy program.
If I know it would stop someone harming a real life child, I'd buy them the whole fucking art store.
Also, yeah. Having real life harm equated to fictional characters and art is so blatantly disrespectful its unreal. If you're trying to tell me what I went through is no more suffering than what a piece of paper or digital screen went through, you're telling me I have no more value than something that doesn't even exist.
