I have nothing against the Pro-ship stance as I understand it (ship and let ship/fiction is fiction etc) but I do think it’s odd that pro-shippers never acknowledge how their online communities have become a safe space for actual pedos/zoos/pro-contact folks. Everyone is responsible for themselves ofc but seeing as pro/anti shippers seem to be in a “who cares about victims more” debate 24/7 it’s weird that actual perpetrators of these crimes seem to gravitate towards pro-shippers more and they never address it.

Thought "crimes", quite literally, aren't real. You cannot prosecute someone for thinking something. If I think about murder, I cannot be tried and condemned as a murderer. If I think about overthrowing the government, I cannot be put in prison for treason.

This is because thoughts are not actions. Thoughts do not have a direct reflecting action or consequence. What you're thinking is pure concept and hypothesis until you actually translate it into action.

I can think about murder all I want. If I actually kill someone, hire a hitman, or actively plot to kill someone, those are actions and are what I can be prosecuted for.

So, no. Even in regards to pedophilia, thoughts are not crimes. And that's not 'protecting pedophiles.' That's a literal fact. Now, if said pedophile tries to harm a child or engage with a child inappropriately or any other such action, that is a crime.

That is punishable by law.

See the difference? A little education goes a long way.

Yeah, I'm not gonna tell you to kill yourself but honestly your blog is so fucking embarrassing. It's 2024. Get a fucking hobby. Not only are you publicly defending incest and not listening to others that tell you that shits weird, you're talking, once again, publicly about cumming to it. That's some weird, freaky shit dude. I'll admit I do have a little fun with this blog, like bait-playing the people who intentionally try to insult me or upset me, but generally, the purpose of this blog is, as stated, open discussion between different perspectives, on fiction vs reality, and on the nuances of morality.

I'm not publicly defending incest, either. Which you'd know if you properly read and understood my posts. I'm defending fictional incest. Because it isn't actual, real incest. Its fake. Its victimless. Its the hypothetical exploration of something.

If its embarrassing to you for someone to be having these discussions and making these points, then it just means you don't really understand the actual purpose of them and the reality behind the separation of fiction and real life.

Its perfectly fine for you to dislike certain topics or themes. Nobody should ever try to force you into enjoying or even supporting something you dislike or cannot morally validate, but such is the spirit of this blog, that doesn't inherently mean its bad and shouldn't exist at all. That doesn't mean those things can't exist in a capacity where it can't hurt anyone or cause harm.

Incest and pedophilia are the 'big two' that people love to throw around—and at me—but there's actually so much more to these discussions than those. I don't want 90% of my posts to be regurgitating the same points about the same topics, but there's always people who rigidly circle back to them in an attempt to shut down my side of the discussion, or my perspective.

And it won't. It just mildly frustrates me, and then I start typing.

Its always 'get a hobby' or 'get a life' but the exact same could be said for people who use their time online to send death threats and whine about how fictional content contains real victims. I wouldn't be here if they weren't. Where are their hobbies? Why aren't you telling them to get a life?

And, on the subject about cumming to things; its quite literally just a response to being told to kill myself, or to someone wishing harm on me or people I care about.

If you aren't self-aware and educated enough to know something is bad regardless of how a tv show or movie or song portrays it, that's a you issue. Romanticizing is simply part of the narrative. If you can't separate the portrayal of something in fiction and how it should be approached in real life, you shouldn't be watching it.

I feel like people forget incest victims exist in real life and you may not want to make your incest fan content extremely public with zero filter. A lot of people treat incest as a joke but it's actually so fucked up because family is who you're told to trust so the level of betrayal and disgust is unimaginable. Ty for your reasonable takes. As someone whose degree is in literature, the logic i see around modern antis is…repulsive honestly. I *had* to read stuff like lolita which i mean…most misunderstood piece of literature out there tbh. Modern antis are just mini-cultists and wanna-be revolutionists who think they're taking action by dogpiling people over fictional content instead of actually having the courage to take action in real life.

The amount of antis who can't have an actual discussion about something proves just how many are only around to virtue signal and find an outlet for all the hate within them. I always know when I've made a reasonable point because they suddenly stop replying or start resorting to name calling, threats and snarky little non-responses.
