Actually, it is incredibly weird to just directly copy celebrities' tattoos. Like, imagine if you had a tattoo in memory of your dead parent and someone you've literally never met comes up to you on the street, shows you the exact same tattoo and tells you that they love you so much they got this and they want you to like. Be happy about that? Think that's a good thing?
"They've never said they don't like it!"
They shouldn't have to.
"They've never said it has a specific meaning!"
They shouldn't have to.
Its creepy. Its invasive. Its weird. Period.
Tattoos inspired by a celebrity's or incorporating aspects of a celebrity's is one thing, but this trend where its acceptable and even encouraged to just up and directly take a piece of someone's personal art and put it on your body is insane.

I'm going to say this incredibly bluntly, but The Witcher (finally) providing canon confirmation and representation of Jaskier's bisexuality is nothing but a blatant grab for ratings and views and positive engagement in a piss-poor attempt to revive itself.
Jaskier deserves better. Joey Batey, who's thrown his entire being into this role, deserves better. The fans deserve better.
From the moment the show was announced they've been skirting the topic, flirting with it whenever it suits them and outright ignoring it when they can't think of anything smart and vague to say. Baiting fans by coyly saying they couldn't possibly confirm he is, but they can't deny he is either.
Using it as a counter to try and stop their public image and longevity disintegrating is just... So fucking disappointing. Its been done before by other shows, both with queer characters and with other concepts, but again.
Joey and Jaskier deserved more. Jaskier being acknowledged as bisexual should've been its own moment. It should've been for the character, not for the profit.
I could not have made this up if I tried. Immaculate.
Something that will never fail to amuse me about anti-Billy Hargrove stans is just how much room he takes up inside your heads. You can't be on Tumblr for thirty seconds without thinking of him. You can't ever see something involving him and leave it alone. Its an obsession for you. Its eating you alive and he's fake and he doesn't care and all the people who are actually capable of critical thinking skills and compassion and just vibing and you're destroying yourself. He lives in your head and you're not even charging him rent.
I can honestly not even begin to analyse the absolute irony and hypocrisy in your entire post. I mean, really, you were finding the point in the first half, but you killed it and spit on its grave in the last part.
So to reiterate you think someone is capable of creating something, specifically something "problematic", without:
Romanticizing it
Wanting to do it
Condoning it in real life
And can create something purely for artistic or creative purposes...
Yet you're decrying "proshitters."
The call is coming from inside the house, my friend.
I’m seeing proshitters on tw/tter right now going “how can you be a Gore artist and hate proshitters at the same time??”
Well it’s simple really, because most of the time people who draw that stuff OBVIOUSLY don’t fucking condone that shit in real life or romanticize it to death, and most of the time they use it for artistic value too.
But maybe that’s a hard concept for you to grasp because you think that dark fiction is just you writing 100k pedo and incest omegaverse fanfiction for jack off material
FYI you can enjoy Jaskier being canonically bisexual while also acknowledging that its being used as a hosepipe on a gasoline fire. Jaskier being bisexual is not the bad thing. How and why its now being included is.
