So it turns out that eating the same two WILDLY unhealthy foods for my two main meals of the day every day for a solid three years wasn’t good for me. Did not see that coming.

really all this has taught me is I am incapable of focusing on one thing at once. and that I need to write more for Mortality cause in my brain I've finished that and it's like 9 chapters long??? ugh I love that fic. and septín being only 2k is mind-boggling cause it's another one of those I've Planned Every Second Of Your Life From Now Until The End Of Time universes. that and I LOVE that fic. idk how I haven't written more of it. anyway!! it seems like all the most interesting fics I've written are deeply incomplete. and the single gravity falls billford fic really is messing with me HELLO!!!
is there a trend to these? there deffo is for the TAFA-verse (never calling it that again) but idk about the rest of them. there's not much in common between a billford james bond spoof and a sterek reincarnation au. shocking, I know.

When the author describes a character’s appearance way too late and you have to quickly redesign the image you already have for them in your head:

For the love of GOD, Tommy Kinnard is not historic lgbt rep. White gay characters with no personality are a dime a dozen on network tv. Even Buck's bisexuality storyline, while is groundbreaking for queer firefighters, it's also not historic since "older guy discovers he's bi" was already done in Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Even Eddie's queer awakening wouldn't be historic, as there have been a few "formerly straight-identifying guys with religious trauma coming out later in their lives" storylines on tv. Not to mention, Michael's journey on 911.
Now, Buck and Eddie's relationship would ABSOLUTELY be historic lgbt rep bc we've never had a slowburn same sex romance on network tv, especially with two firefighters (don't just take my word for it, go Google and see it for yourself, we don't have anything like that yet), if they were to go canon, they'll certainly create history. As for what we have right now, a boring relationship with the characters saying one or two lines to each other every third episode, is hardly historic.
You wanna know what's 911's contribution in historic lgbt representation, it's our own Henrietta "Hen" Wilson.
A badass lesbian firefighter+paramedic, who's also been an interim captain, she's strong despite the severe workplace discrimination she had to endure and she's a great mother, she almost became a doctor too, what is it that she can't do? As for her relationship, it's one of the three front and center relationships on 911, her wife Karen is a rocket scientist, and one of the most emotionally mature character I've ever seen on tv, and even though their relationship hit a bump in the first season, they managed to get past the cheating and after that they've had a relatively healthy and happy marriage, and we don't see a lot of that on network tv, especially with two Black women. Hen and Karen never get their dues for being a wonderful queer+wlw representation, and it has only gotten worse since EvanTommy fans have joined the fandom.
i wasn't joking when i said i'd never move on from that eddie scene but i just have literal tears in my eyes thinking about eddie going to the store and picking out those stupid little decorations and party hats and getting excited about all his plans and maybe with this small part of him knowing it might all be for nothing and that his son might still hate him at the end of the day but still forging ahead and inviting buck and tommy to surprise christopher and acting like everything is normal up until the moment he can't...

i do actually feel bad for chappell bc my dream is to be gay famous and my nightmare is to be actual famous and i think the same thing happened to her. she tried to be gay famous and accidentally became actual famous and now there’s no way out and now people care about her presidential endorsements

posting this little thing because the wonderful @novasillies tagged me (guys guys go read her fic please please please please please it’s SO GOOD) as well as the lovely @gege-wondering-around (I am so so sorry i’m always so late for these things life has been so busy). here’s something else from my time travel au (also called the rewrite the lines au)
By the time he reaches the Nemeton, dawn is breaking on the horizon. Soon, the world will wake up, and Stiles plans to be long gone by then, least the Hales hear him.
The Nemeton’s energy is strong today, overpowering the Nogitsune’s rage and cruel persuasion. It hums inside Stiles’s whole being, and Stiles lets it wash over him before sending it back, like a feedback loop. It’s a learned behavior, allowing its energy to flow through him. Before, he’d been way too scared of it, of what it could do, of what it had already done. Now, Stiles knows he’s way more powerful than anything else that’s ever touched this tree. There’s no need to be afraid of what has made him what he is today, for no matter how monstrous, Stiles will always be worse.
Without hesitating, he presses his palm flat against the top of the tree stump. He doesn’t push any of his magic in it, simply letting it flow freely. It’s intense, though not hurtful. It recognizes Stiles as its friend, not its foe, no matter what Stiles may feel towards it.
As he lets the Nemeton’s magic flood his senses, Stiles idly wonders when it became such a normal thing for him to refer to a tree as a sentient being. It’s not as if the Nemeton talks to him, it simply… conveys its energy. And the call is more of a pull than an outright calling, if he’s getting specific about it. Yet Stiles knows without a doubt that it is sentient, even if it doesn’t have things such as feelings or emotions.
He keeps his hand on the tree stump for as long as he can, holding steady through the endless stream of information being imputed straight into his head by his semi-symbiotic relationship with the Nemeton even though his head starts to pound and his breathe starts coming out in heavy, loud puffs of air. In fact, Stiles only pulls away when the cold, nauseatingly familiar feel of dark energy, of chaos and pain and strife starts creeping in. Even though Stiles knows it can’t be true, that it must be his mind playing tricks on him again, he can’t help but startle when he hears voices in the wind, a whispered let me in that has his heart beating erratically and his eyes jumping from shadow to shadow. In the lazy light of the still rising sun, he can almost swear he sees a firefly.
Stiles leaves without looking back. Maybe if he ignores this problem, it will finally fucking go away.
If not… well. That’s a problem for future Stiles to take care of.
