In TLOU HBO There Are Two Episodes That Take Place Outside Of The Main Timeline Of The Show, And Both
In TLOU HBO there are two episodes that take place outside of the main timeline of the show, and both are absolutely fantastic queer love stories, but they are also completely different types of love stories.
Long, Long Time is a story about growing old together. It’s about loving someone so deeply and unbreakably that they become your purpose. It’s a two decade spanning story about time and spending your life with someone you love.
Left Behind is a story about young love. It’s about the awkward giddiness of having a crush at fourteen. It’s about the butterflies in your stomach and young, naive hope. It spans one night, probably less than four hours, that ended way too soon.
Bill and Frank’s death wasn’t the tragic end of a play, but Riley and Ellie were all poetic and decided to lose their minds together.

Starting a tumblr blog because I’m on AO3 and everyone else has one. I dunno what I’m supposed to do with this. I just caved to completely self-inflicted peer pressure 😭👍
PEDRO WON LETS GOOOOOO
(Yes, last week I complained about award shows. Shut up, my guy won, award shows are great!)
I know that Alastor was just pretending to be a father-figure for Charlie to get on Lucifer’s nerves, but like… look at Charlie! She’s so happy to have a dad 😭 she’s just like “😊”

Joel and Ellie
Quite tired and smelly
Joel is not doing welly
Ellie needs to fill his belly
rode off on Callus, then she felly
woke up with a cannibal locked in a celly
Killed a man and ran through a deli
David sucks, his brain are now jellie
Joel is being a nervous Nellie
gets there too late after she’s been through helly
He calls her baby girl as I cry at my telly
It’s been a great year for television, but episode 8 of the Last of Us will always be my absolute favorite, hands down. The sheer brilliance of the writing, the dread of David slowly revealing his true nature, Joel ruthlessly torturing those guys to find Ellie but still getting there just a bit too late, the horror Ellie goes through and brutally murdering David, but still not feeling safe, then the catharsis of Joel and her reuniting, not to mention the entire cast giving truly incredible performances… I could write essays and essays about how truly fantastic this episode is (and I probably will) but anyway… thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
