So I watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse over break. I’ve seen all the Spidersones and they are amazing. But I can’t stop thinking about one thing y’all seem to be sleeping on. Peter and MJ. It’s pretty much implied that they try to make it work and get back together.

So here’s what I’m thinking. Peter and MJ got back together and decide to give kids a try but they’ve reached that age where having kids is difficult. Instead they adopt. A nine year old boy, Trenner and four year old girl Elodie. I wish I could draw but I can’t so here’s what they’d be like. In my opinion.

Trenner B. Parker

* Wild and untamed.

* Peter and MJ sign him up for plenty of after school activities to hopefully drain his energy. He

* Excels in soccer, and loves the Robotic team.

* Wants a dog.

* Plenty of late nights working on projects with his dad.

* Is protective of his sister.

* The best superhero is Spider-Man

* Mama’s boy.

* Baking wiz. (Honestly you haven’t lived until you’ve tried his chocolate lava cake.)

* Birth parents not in the picture.

* Wants a dog.

* Average intelligence.

* Never washes his blankets, they loose their softness.

* Seriously this boy wants a dog!

* Favorite movie Die Hard.

* He will beat anyone’s ass if they pick on his sister.

* Will only do apology dance for Elodie.

* In the middle of the social tower at school. Not quite popular but not unpopular.

* Will take his mom’s side.

* Yes he loves his dad.

* On guys night they sit in the shower eating pizza and contemplate life.

Elodie M. Parker

* Soft spoken and shy.

* Daddy’s girl.

* Only talks to her dad.

* Will yell if she’s pushed enough.

* Wants a ferret.

* Coolest superhero is Bruce Banner, not the hulk, Bruce Banner.

* Always does her dad’s hair.

* Fry stealer (Guard your food).

* Nickname “El”.

* Might be mutant.

* Tries to stick to the ceiling like her dad.

* Has broken her arm twice.

* Has Peter wrapped around her finger.

* Still sucks her thumb.

* Wants to be a ninja.

* Doctor Who nerd. (She has a TARDIS nightlight).

* When she has a nightmare Peter will hold her upside down. They’ll sleep on the ceiling like bats. He has never dropped her.

* Follows her brother like a puppy.

Pandering. Pandering. Pandering. There reskinning the ride to cover up their racist mistake. And chose Tiana because she appeals to the very audience they offended.

She deserves to have the work put in and have her own ride made from scratch. Or I dunno... her own RESTAURANT.

Instead of erasing their mistake they should just reboot it in an effort to replace the racist undertone but not erase the history entirely.

And honestly I can't tell if this is more white people getting excited about the change or black people. Because only one side deserves any say in the matter because they're the ones the ride offends.

I'm black and it really feels like they're pandering and trying to erase disney history.

They are going to change Splash Mountain and make it a Princess and The Frog ride….this is what Tiana deserves.
