Okay so funny idea-

Rivalry is the only way to court a Hatake.

Being rivals with a Hatake means you are courting them.

Kakashi : *waiting for Gai, for almost over 20 years (!), to finally give him any fucking gifts that he could accept, signifying they would now be mates*

Gai : ETERNAL RIVAL !!! :D

Kakashi : *silently crying in his head*

Kakashi's ninken : *sigh in pain*

During the summer where Hashirama and Madara meet... :

Madara : So are we rivals now ?

Hashirama : Ah- um... Maybe...? If you wanna, I wouldn't mind... *Is fidgeting, shy and blushing*

Hashirama : I'm half Hatake...

Madara : OH- hhhhhhh... No. Sorry... *Looks away blushing, actually sad he has to say no*

today I saw a little girl running like in Naruto. You might think, "oh, how cute!" but it wasn't cute for me. I looked at her and thought about Itachi, Kakashi and all those children who survived the war.

I thought about how Uchiha Fugaku brought his four-year-old son to the battlefield so that "he would remember what the Shinobi world is and never forget". I thought about six-year-old Itachi trying to commit suicide, realizing that the meaning of life does not exist, and suddenly stopping because of a raven flying by while he was falling. I thought about Itachi, a thirteen-year-old Uchiha Itachi, looking at his suicidal friend Shisui, telling him that "it will be fine"; executing an order to kill his clan to prevent a Civil War.

I thought about Kakashi looking at his dead father, who committed suicide because of the decision to keep his friends alive during the war rather than finish the mission. I thought about Kakashi, who received the title of Chūnin at the age of six, about Kakashi, who went on missions alone at the age of six, about Kakashi, who received the title of Jōnin at the age of 12 and became responsible for his team in the war, about Kakashi, who lost an eye in the heat of battle, and then had to just watch how his teammate, a friend dies under the rubble. I thought about Kakashi killing Rin with his own hand against his will. I thought about Kakashi, nicknamed "Friend-Killer Kakashi".

I thought about all those young people who died in the war: Rin, Navaki, Yahiko, Neji; and about those who were irreversibly affected by the war: Kakashi, Obito, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Naruto and his friends, Itachi, Shisui, Shizune.

I thought of all the grown-up people who used to be children too.

and finally, I think about Madara and Hashirama, who dreamed that children would not have to fight.

Hey hey hey, what if what if-

Iruka's mom was an Uzumaki, and the reason why he was here during the Kyubi attack was because he originally was suppose to be the Junchiriki if anything happened to Kushina or his mom.

And he knows it.

He knows he was supposed to be the sacrifice after his aunt's and mother's death.

Not the innocent newborn son of the Hokage.

Naruto wasn't supposed to be the Junchiriki.

And seeing how people treats him...

Makes him glad he's not the sacrifice.

But he feels so so so bad, so horrible.

This is a child. An innocent child that never asked for this hate.

He was supposed to be the one suffering.

Not the child.

How could he ever ask forgiveness for not being what he's should have been ?

How can he explain to this child that he should never have been hated ?

That he was the original choice for sacrifice ?

How to look him the eyes and tell him ?

So he does the next best things.

He cares for him.

But it's so so hard.

Because he's so scared.

Because he doesn't know how to care for others and himself.

Because he doesn't know how to show and say he loves someone.

But he still tries. But it's not enough.

The reveal with Mizuki is even more brutal because he knows.

Iruka told his best friend that he was supposed to be the Junchiriki.

Yokais in the world of Naruto...

An uncommon commodity !

Quite a few clans have Yokai blood, the Hatake, Nara and Hoshigaki for example.

But it's much more common to have that one random family with a Yokai ancestor.

It is quite easy to notice a half Yokai, since their humanity and spirituality have difficulty to mix together.

If you see someone having animalistic attributes and wearing a fur/scales coat or a feather/fang/horn as jewellery, they are probably half Yokai.

Those objects are a part of that person's soul.

Stealing it is taking away a part of them.

Destroying it is ripping apart a part of them.

They will survive. They will live. But they would be suffering for the rest of their existence. With not possibly of regaining what they have lost

Being trusted with such object by them is... Much more than just trust at this point.

They gave you a part of themselves. Of their soul.

It's a show of love.

Ok so... Naruto brain rot :)

Even if both categories of Clans share characteristics with animals. There's a difference between a Beastial Clan and a Feral.

One is working with animals, the other is Being the animal.

For example...

Inuzuka, Beastial, work with ninja dogs, greater and sharper senses and instincts.

Hakate, Fucking Feral, Will bite your fucking throat out, are basically Animals in humans form.

But you can also be Feral without the animal parts.

You just need to be more Wild than a Beastial. Be literally one with Nature. :)

Yes, the Uzumakis are Feral. Yes, the Fucking Senju are Feral. Yes, Tsunade Senju is very Feral herself. (Orochimaru is too ;D)

Beastial Clans : Inuzuka, Aburame, Nara, Sarutobi, Uchiha, Onikuma...

Feral Clans : Hakate, Senju, Uzumaki, Nohara, Umino, Namikaze...

Also... Being a Junchiriki automatically make someone Feral. Or being mixed with Senju's DNA. Or adopted/Claimed by a Feral. :)
