"Never underestimate the small gestures, the choice between micro-agression and micro-compassion. The difference is between making someone feel like a real human being, or crushing their soul. The human heart is so fragile. This is why the Prophet ﷺ was so adamant to teach us the etiquette of emotion, the core of character: Don't whisper between two if you are joined by a third. Smile, its a charity. Turn your full torso when someone speaks to you. Don't take someone's seat when they get up temporarily. Regard anything personal someone tells you as a secret to hold close even if you aren't told to do so. Make peace between people. Don't hold a grudge more than three days. And so so so much more. The big things aren't what break hearts. The big things aren't what destroy friendships. Its the little things."

Allah knows that you are hurt, He sees and He never does any injustice, that’s why, for every calamity that befalls you, He gives you something good in return!
Put your trust in Allah! And know that even though today the world is not on your side, you are not alone. Allah (subhaana wa ta’aala) is watching over you and He WILL give you your due right! He will replace the sad days with the happy ones. Trust Him, This too shall pass!
He is your creator and He has the knowledge of the unseen. He can see what you can’t and He knows what’s best for you.
Remember, He tells us in the Quran of this…
“But it may happen that you hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows, you know not.”
{Surah Al Baqara 2: Verse 216}❤
The story of two gardens in Surah Al-Kahf speaks about this:
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِۦ فَأَصۡبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيۡهِ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُشۡرِكۡ بِرَبِّيٓ أَحَدٗا
-Surah Al-Kahf, Ayah 42
(Sahih International)
And his fruits were encompassed [by ruin], so he began to turn his hands about [in dismay] over what he had spent on it, while it had collapsed upon its trellises, and said, "Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone."
-Surah Al-Kahf, Ayah 43
(Sahih International)
And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor could he defend himself.
-Surah Al-Kahf, Ayah 44
(Sahih International)
There the authority is [completely] for Allah, the Truth. He is best in reward and best in outcome.

Striving to get closer to Allah should be our goal irrespective of our circumstances. Always being grateful to Him and believing in Him sincerely, putting all of our trust in Him helps us both in time of adversity and prosperity. If we are struggling with this, that doesn't mean we should give up but instead we should keep working on it and remember no one is perfect except Allah so strive in His cause for His sake.

-Surah Al-Ankabut, Ayah 69
(Sahih International)
And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
Nearness to Allah is the only shelter from the storms of life. And a wise person does not wait until after the storm hits to find refuge. A wise person is already safe inside the shelter before the storms hit. Stay close to Allah in ease and you will be protected in hardship. And indeed the worse punishment in this life are not the storms of the life, rather the distance with Allah.

Fate نصيب is so often misunderstood and abused as a concept. We use fate as a salve for our wounded hearts, or a scapegoat for our poor choices/behaviors. But a sound differentiation would be this; If you find yourself in a situation where you can make no sense of painful events and can’t mend your heart, accept life as it is and find solace in knowing it was fate decreed by The Most Compassionate. However, never justify your poor choices/behavior and disregard of others by blaming it on fate. God gave you the freedom of choice; when you go back on your words, when you’re inconsiderate and hurtful to others, that is your choice, it becomes fate because you made it so, not the other way around.
It adds too much insult to injury when you tell someone you hurt “It is fate, that’s how God wanted things to go”. That type of rhetoric causes a lot of pain for those who receive it as it would make them feel that God wanted this for them, that they deserve to be hurt, when in fact they’re hurt because you messed up and are trying to make yourself feel better by blaming it on fate. We accept life’s pain as fate when it is matters out of our control, but when it is our worldly affairs between each other, then life is the way it is because of our own doings.
Mind what you say to others, say only what you mean, for words are the interpretation of our hearts and souls and we are accountable for what we say. Words can start wars or broker peace, they can soften hardened hearts, or harden soft ones. They can light up the world, or darken the soul. Words have meaning, words matter. Own your poor choices, learn from them, apologize and grow; don’t let the pain you caused others go in vain and never allow yourself to blame fate for your mistakes.
A beautiful dua.
Ya Rabb, there's no knowledge, at all, except by You, from You And with Your permission.
Ya Allaah, I repent to you from ascribing any knowledge to myself, my shuyoukh, or anyone of Your creation.
Ya Allaah, forgive me for relying on my efforts more than relying on Your tawfeeq.
Ya Rabb, I am but a Jahil, unless You teach me.
Ya Rabb, I am but a hypocrite, unless You grant my heart ikhlaas.
Ya Rabb, I am but a stupid, unless You open my heart and mind to Your light.
