The Story Of Two Gardens In Surah Al-Kahf Speaks About This:
The story of two gardens in Surah Al-Kahf speaks about this:
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِۦ فَأَصۡبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيۡهِ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُشۡرِكۡ بِرَبِّيٓ أَحَدٗا
-Surah Al-Kahf, Ayah 42
(Sahih International)
And his fruits were encompassed [by ruin], so he began to turn his hands about [in dismay] over what he had spent on it, while it had collapsed upon its trellises, and said, "Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone."
-Surah Al-Kahf, Ayah 43
(Sahih International)
And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor could he defend himself.
-Surah Al-Kahf, Ayah 44
(Sahih International)
There the authority is [completely] for Allah, the Truth. He is best in reward and best in outcome.
----------------------------------------
Striving to get closer to Allah should be our goal irrespective of our circumstances. Always being grateful to Him and believing in Him sincerely, putting all of our trust in Him helps us both in time of adversity and prosperity. If we are struggling with this, that doesn't mean we should give up but instead we should keep working on it and remember no one is perfect except Allah so strive in His cause for His sake.
----------------------------------------
-Surah Al-Ankabut, Ayah 69
(Sahih International)
And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
Nearness to Allah is the only shelter from the storms of life. And a wise person does not wait until after the storm hits to find refuge. A wise person is already safe inside the shelter before the storms hit. Stay close to Allah in ease and you will be protected in hardship. And indeed the worse punishment in this life are not the storms of the life, rather the distance with Allah.

“Some days seem to fit together like a stained glass window. A hundred little pieces of different color and mood that, when combined, create a complete picture.”

An eye opening reminder SubhanAllah
You know, Allah hid Paradise from our sight, but He didn’t hide the path to it. He hid Himself, but He didn’t hide His words. He hides the future but compels us to learn from the past.
Yet sometimes we’re so fixated on the ‘seen’ problem we fail to see the ‘unseen’ solution. Yes, everything is predestined and we drown in the ‘why me?’ heap of things, but didn’t Almighty Allah ever teach you that the door to call upon Him is always wide open?
"Never underestimate the small gestures, the choice between micro-agression and micro-compassion. The difference is between making someone feel like a real human being, or crushing their soul. The human heart is so fragile. This is why the Prophet ﷺ was so adamant to teach us the etiquette of emotion, the core of character: Don't whisper between two if you are joined by a third. Smile, its a charity. Turn your full torso when someone speaks to you. Don't take someone's seat when they get up temporarily. Regard anything personal someone tells you as a secret to hold close even if you aren't told to do so. Make peace between people. Don't hold a grudge more than three days. And so so so much more. The big things aren't what break hearts. The big things aren't what destroy friendships. Its the little things."

So amazing to know, the reassurance Allah SWT is giving us, SubhanAllah.
Allah SWT is always there for us, looking after us, it is whether we recognise that.
Do we call out to Him or not?
Do we rely on Him or not?
Do we have sabr while getting the response or not?
Do we completely believe He is Al-Wakeel (The best disposer of our affairs) or not?
I guess the ultimate question during any hardship we face is the amount of tawakkul we have, because greater the reliance on Allah, the easier will be the hardship. Because no matter what Dunya(this life) is an ongoing test till our death, who better to ask for help, to rely on, to seek comfort from but The Creator of the entire existence who has The infinite knowledge, wisdom, who is The Most Merciful.
All you have to do is reach out, lift your hands up to Him, speak to Him although He knows your problems, He still listens, and loves you, He knows your situation better than you yourself, so ultimately surrender that is handover the matter to Him, ask Him for His help, guidance, be obedient to Him and believe sincerely He will take care of your affairs, of you. That's so beautiful knowing a being having the Most Grandeur has your back, even though you are so little. He notices you, that is so soothing and calming, Alhamdulillah.
"Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear"
(Quran, 2:286)
This supplication is beautiful because it recognizes that there's a point beyond which the burdens of life can break and incapacitate us. But what's even more beautiful is that the beginning of this verse answers this existential question itself:
لَا یُکَلِّفُ اللّٰہُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَہَا
"God does not burden any soul with more than it can bear"
(Quran 2:286)
Therefore, Allah is in a way, letting it be known that you will survive, you will be looked after, you will not be burdened beyond your capacity, and most importantly — you have the strength to bear whatever hardships life brings you, because He never charges a soul with something that it doesn't have the capacity to endure, all we therefore have to do is to search for that inner God-given strength and put it to use.
