It was a blizzard out there, snow falling heavily in every direction and you could’ve sworn there was a foot on the ground already despite it only have been snowing for about twenty minutes or so. There was a severe weather warning blaring through your phone, advising everyone to stay home.

Well there go your plans, Chigiri had practice and you were supposed to meet up with your friends at a cafe nearby. But it wasn’t all bad, secretly inside you were overjoyed at the fact that you were stuck home with Chigiri, a day all to yourselves. Smiling at the thought, you went over to snuggle up with Hyoma on the couch, who had already changed back into his comfy clothes. You both snuggled up in silence for a little bit under a blanket as you ran your fingers through his soft red hair, the hair that only you were allowed to touch.

You knew he was a bit disappointed that practice was canceled today since he there were some pretty good players that were supposed to stop by his team’s practices this week, to help improve their strengths. You hated seeing his pretty face contort into a soft frown, however, you had a pretty good idea as to what would cheer him up.

“You know,” you started gently, catching his attention as you spoke, thumb stroking his cheek,“we haven’t done a self care day in a while”.

Hyoma’s face instantly broke into a huge smile as he squeezed you in a hug and practically jumped up from the couch.

“That’s a great idea! You stay here and I’ll grab all the stuff we need.” Chigiri called back to you, already running off to grab everything as he spoke. It had been a little while since you two could spend some quality time together, but weekly self care had always been a routine with you two.

Hyoma quickly returned and you started off with hair care, moving through the house as needed, and doing each others routine for them. You were one of the only people in the world Chigiri would let touch his hair, and it never failed to make you feel special. Like he trusted you, and loved you.

Just as you were both about to apply face masks, the power went out. A complete blackout. You held Hyoma’s hand as you both lit candles around the house and moved back to sit on the couch. You grabbed the hot cocoa you had made earlier, handing Hyoma’s mug to him, which he took gratefully, and then he grabbed yours as well. He set them down on a table nearby and pulled you down onto his lap.

Hyoma snuggled his head into you shoulder as he said softly, “I’m so lucky to have you love”.

A light layer of pink dusted your cheeks at his words and you responded, threading your fingers through his hair as you spoke, “Liar, I’m the lucky one here Hyoma”

“I love you.” He said, lips pressing a soft, warm kiss to your neck.

“I love you too, pretty boy.”

Maybe, just maybe, you should get stuck inside a bit more often.

It was a small flower shop you worked at. Quaint, as most would describe it. But it had a homely feel to it. Sunlight shone through the windows during day time, casting its honey glow on the plants inside, shinning off the glow of the dewdrops resting on the leaves. The serenity of the afternoon was yours to enjoy, as it had been a rather slow day today. After one of your regulars came by, buying his daily bouquet of flowers for his wife, there hadn’t been anyone else quite yet.

Just as you were lulled into a state of calm, a man entered. He was almost rather peculiar. He dressed as if he belonged in a somehow more pompous version of a marching band, or perhaps a dictator. A tuft of his blonde hair stuck out, almost like a shark fin. It was almost cute.

He looked over at me and our eyes locked, and for a moment your breathe was caught in your throat. However then, the moment ended, and he went back to perusing through the selection. A while passed until he came over to the counter, empty handed. You peered over at him curiously, wondering what he could possibly want from you.

“Do you have any red crocosmia?” He questioned, his tone was gentle yet it still had commanding undertones to it.

You responded to him, telling him you didn’t have any, but that you could get some imported in and could call him once they were here if he were to give you his name and number. And that’s how you ended up with his contact info, for work of course.

Once he came in to pick them up, he kept coming back almost every day, and you began to look forward to his visits. He was pleasant to talk too and he took interest in the things you liked and asked about them, never forgetting anything you told him. Soon enough, he asked you to get to know each other more at a coffee place which soon became a regular meet up spot for the two of you.

You liked him, loved him even, and you were going to tell him. Today. As you made your way over to your regular meet up spot, you saw something that you wished you never would have seen. It was your coworker with Lucifer. She was sitting where you sat and her hands were resting on top of his, giving them a little squeeze.

You felt your heart break into pieces as you turned and left. You were so stupid. You had only spent time with him yourself, never with someone else. You hadn’t even asked if he was taken or liked someone else. God you felt stupid. What if he only spent time with you to get with her. As you ran away you felt your airways constrict and block up as you seemingly choke on air. And that was the day you coughed up your first petal, red and layered with blood a similar shade on top. Red crocosmia.

The following few days, you take sick leaves from work, trying to figure out the cause and reason for your sudden ailment, which only seemed to get worse everytime you thought of the blonde. Finally you went to the doctor, only to hear the news, that you were dying. Your ailment, Hanahaki, could only be cured by confessing to the person you love, and having them return your feelings. Or, having a surgery done to remove your feelings entirely.

You had six months to ponder your decision, as you tried to desperately avoid the boy you were so in love with. Why on earth had you ever decided to work here, why on earth did you even take this job? You’d go in the back room, or to the bathroom when you saw Lucifer approaching the store, only leaving when he was gone.

Two months. That was how long you’d been avoiding this man so far. You would’ve made it longer, had he not come on Valentine’s Day. You were swamped with customers and there was no escape as he walked up to you. Taking your hand in his and asking if you could talk. You would have refused if your coworker hadn’t shown up and shoved you away. Now there really was no escape at all.

“Why are you been cutting me out?” Lucifer asked, something like hurt or desperation in his tone, perhaps a mix of both. He seemed almost more frail since you had last seen him, though he was just as beautiful as ever. You really did love him. You were going to die anyways, so what’s the harm in telling him really? So maybe spurred by your impending death, or maybe by the cutesie couples all around you, you let it all out.

“Because I love you. Because I love you so much that I’m dying for it. And there’s nothing I can do to make you love me back.” With that you got it all off your chest. And with that, your lungs constrict as you painfully reminded yourself of him and your coworker, who was probably just being a good girlfriend by letting him talk to you. Why did you even-

Your thoughts were cut off as his lips were pressed to yours. Your lungs seemed a thousand times lighter as you got lost in the sensation of his lips against your own.

“I love you. Only you” He said, as he pulled away from you. Before you could panic at the fact that your coworker was standing right there and you had just kissed her boyfriend, Lucifer explained everything.

“The only reason I was spending time with her, was to make a plan to ask you out. I wanted her input since you both seemed to be friends.”

Your face was stained red now, embarrassed at the misunderstanding. You nearly died because of your assumptions, and he really didn’t deserve to be ghosted. As you opened your mouth to apologize to him, for everything, he cut you off.

“I was hoping, since it’s Valentine’s Day, that you would like to spend the rest of the day with me?” He asked gently, a light dusting of pink on his cheeks. Adorable. Looking over to your coworker, who gave you a thumbs up, you agreed. A day with Lucifer, what more could you possibly want?

Maybe working at the flower shop, and meeting him, wasn’t such a bad idea after all.

You loved Muichiro and Muichiro loved you. Every moment you two could, you spent together, hand in hand, everywhere. Anyone who knew either of you knew that where one of you was the other was sure to follow. Everyday was blissful. Pure, kind, and sweet.

You’d always get flowers and candy from him, always your favorites and you’d give him his favorites. He was so sweet and kind, never forgetting a thing about you. Oh, how in love you two were.

Until it happened. Yuichiro died. He was killed, by a demon. Muichiro’s memories were gone. He didn’t remember anything or anyone, not even you. You tried to remind him. Oh, how you tried. He didn’t know you, and he simply didn’t care.

Then you were separated. Muichiro went off to kill demons, not even sparing you a goodbye. Then again, perhaps you were the one foolish enough to wish for a goodbye from the boy who didn’t even know you.

You had decided then what you were going to do. Maybe it was a suicide mission, or perhaps it was a foolish desire to see him again, at least once. You had chosen to join the demon slayer corps.

It was two years before you saw Muichiro again. You spent days and hours just training, you survived the final selection, killing every demon that passed your path. You let your sadness and rage consume you, ruthlessly killing any demon.

By the time you became a hashira you had killed well over one hundred demons, but you refused to become a hashira until you’d taken down at least one of the twelve kizuki. Then the day came. You encountered the Lower Moon 6 and after a tough battle you came out on top, though you had some permanent scars down your arm.

Now finally, finally, to the delight of Ubayaka-sama, you had decided to become a hashira.

All the Hashira were present for your initiation ceremony, many were wary, for they had heard stories from the ones who were partnered with you on your missions. How you’re ruthless in killing demons yet so very kind off the battlefield.

Once you reached the ceremony, to your surprise, Muichiro was there. A hashira, how were you even surprised, you’d expect nothing less from your Muichiro. Not that he was yours anymore.

Everyone was kind and welcoming in their own way, surprisingly enough to everyone you became fast friends with Sanemi, well, as close as you could get to being friends with Sanemi anyways. Muichiro was a different story

Muichiro was always spacing out and he would forget things. He still adored looking at the clouds, often he’d steal you away from your training to gaze at the sky with him, that was all before of course.

He didn’t remember you, which stung more than you thought.

Walking around the hashira compound you thought on what to do. You were unsure of whether you should remind Mui of who you were or if you should leave him alone.

Lost in thought, you didn’t notice the boy in front of you. Pausing your stride only, when you had run into Muichiro.

“Oh! Sorry!” You said to Muichiro, apologetically.

“It’s alright,” he responded his tone soft, like he was here, but he wasn’t. He reached his hand forward towards you, not noticing the look of shock on your face. “You have a leaf in your hair”.

You tried to calm your heart as Muichiro plucked a leaf out of your hair. You weren’t sure what your poor heart had expected, or why it was beating so very fast.

After that, you and Muichiro would somehow end up seeing each other often. May it be in the halls or simply around the compound, you’d end up running into each other all the time. Maybe that’s why you made such a foolish decision. Maybe that’s why you decided, that you would try to win his heart, once again.

Whenever you’d see Muichiro now, you’d give him his favorite snacks or maybe his favorite flowers. You’d think of him on your missions and bring him back little trinkets from wherever you went.

Perhaps that’s how Muichiro came to like you again too. Secretly he enjoyed receiving your little gifts, enjoyed the attention. He actively sought you out, never admitting to it of course.

He’d be around you when he didn’t have a mission, following and waiting for whatever you had to say to him next. He’d watch the clouds with you when you two just felt like being lazy. He’d let you play with his hair when you were feeling down, adoring the way you’d smile when you were done styling it.

A few weeks later, you and Muichiro were closer than ever. Once he was back from his mission you were thinking of confessing to him again. Your thoughts drifted off to him once again, like they often did when he was gone. Though this time, your crow broke you out of your thoughts. It cawed at you, telling you to report back to Ubayaka-sama for another mission.

You reported back to the demon slayer headquarters, met with a hoard of about 10 demon slayers of the lower ranks. Entering Ubayaka-sama’s room you got down on your knees and payed your respects to him. As he let you rise, he explained the situation, there was an unranked and unreported threat on a peak not far from here and he needed you to go exterminate any demons, the lower ranked slayers were also being sent with you due to a shortage of the higher ranks.

The journey there was short once you had gathered the essentials, the other slayers good company on the way there. Yet you still missed Muichiro, you looked forward to him being back, to spending more time with him. You really did love him.

You reached the small mountain with the others and climbed half way up, pausing immediately. The hairs on your neck stood up straight, something felt wrong, dangerous. Though you had paused, half your group hadn’t, perhaps the ones used to hashira’s doing their own things.

It took only a moment for their bodies to be sliced in half. They didn’t even have a chance to scream. Blood drenched into the ground where they had once stood. Five bright and capable demon slayers, gone in the blink of an eye. Two screamed and tried to run the other direction, their heads were severed from their bodies. All that was left were you and three others, one of whom was hurling into the bushes right next to them.

You had to calm down, you had to focus. As the next one was killed, you spotted it. The weapon of murder. Small quick blades stabbing growing then retracting, slicing through your fellow demon slayers. As the blades retracted, you followed it back, yelling at the remaining two demon slayers to hide behind trees and get shelter. You dodged through the ones being shot out at you. Finally you reached the source, a vaguely humanized demon with six arms and legs made of goo. The blades that killed your comrades grew and retracted from his teeth.

The battle was hard fought, your stamina was running out. You had him, you nearly had him. Your blade was so close to his neck. So why? Why had one of the demon’s blades pierced your flesh, hitting vital organs and twisting on the way out. You were going to die. You were going to die and you wouldn’t be able to protect anyone. You wouldn’t be able to protect Muichiro. Muichiro. You’d miss him.

Just as you’d accepted your fate becoming demon food, a blur of blue and black flashed behind it. A slice and the demon was dead. Muichiro. He was here. He ran to you and held you in his arms. He was warm. Oh so warm.

“Muichiro,” your voice called out weakly, “you’re here. Before I die Mui, I have to tell you”

“Stop talking, it wastes energy. And you’re not going to die.” He cut you off as he wrapped a torn off strip of his haori around your midsection.

“I love you.” You knew you weren’t going to make it out of this so you have to tell him now while you still could. You had loved him as long as you could remember.

Your breaths are shallow and weak. Chest barely rising again. You were going to die. Die because he was a bit too late to save you. Just a minute that’s all it would’ve taken. Suddenly Muichiro remembered, memories of you and him came flooding back to him. Memories he didn’t even know he had.

“Muichiro,” you called again, snapping him out of his reverie. “please don’t forget me”

With that his attention was solely on you again as you bled out. You didn’t open your mouth again. Your eyes glossed over. You didn’t take another breath. You were dead. You had died in his arms. And there was nothing he could do about it.

“I love you too” He said, with tears running down his cheeks. He didn’t tell you that earlier. Why did he never tell you that earlier? Why why why. He had months, ages to tell you. So why now when you were dead and gone. He’d never get to hear your voice, your laugh. He’d never get to see your adoration filled eyes as you looked at him. He’d never get to feel your touch again, your hands playing with your hair softly.

He loves you, he always will. You used your last bit of strength to ask him not to forget you. A waste. After all, what good was his memory if he wasn’t to remember you? Remember you he would, he’d rather die than not.

Hey everybody, due to some problems with my mental health and just being really busy and catching the cold a few times I haven’t really been posting at all, and I do apologize for everyone who’s requests have been inadvertently ignored for literal months. Amethio wasn’t good with affection, or surprise visits. That being said, you probably should’ve warned him before going over to surprise him. By surprise what you really meant was that the rest of your group was on vacation and you were assigned to help him since you two made such a great team.

It’d been a while since you’d seen him in person, always having other simple tasks to do. You and Thio always kept in touch via text though. It took him a while but now when you asked how his day went, he didn’t just say fine, he actually delved into the details. The progress was slow but you loved him all the same. You knew affection is hard for him but you love that he’s trying, just for you.

Reaching where your pretty boy, Zirc, and Conia are, you took a breathe and steeled yourself for the chaos that was going to ensue when you entered the building with a bag of freshly baked sweet treats.

As soon as you entered, the chatter stopped as they looked at you for a second. Then they were instantly lunging for the baked goods in your hands, Amethio getting to them first surprisingly. Zirc and Conia let out small groans of disappointment, before practically tackling you in a group hug.

They gave you the run down on what was happening and the progress so far. You didn’t have the heart to tell them that Thio already told you everything when they were so glad you were back on the team. A few seconds after they finished the run down Zirc tapped Conia’s shoulder and whispered something in her ear, causing her to leave with a promise of catching up soon.

That just left you and Amethio in the room together.

You ran over to him and tackled him in a hug which he stiffly returned. You moved back so you two were now sitting up on the couch with you on his lap facing him.

“I missed you, pretty boy”

“I missed you too” Amethio responded, hesitantly and awkward.

You took a moment just to stare at him, to take in all of his features once again. He really was beautiful. You knew Amethio wasn’t comfortable giving affection, but in the time that you had been dating he had gotten used to the way you showed your love for him.

The rest of the day was spent sitting with your pretty pretty boy, just enjoying each others company and lazily eating the food brought, together on the couch.

- Before everything with Itachi happened you two were inseparable

- You did everything together

- But once it was all done, he slowly started growing distant

- You were all each other had and your bond deepend initially

- However that didn’t last long

- Sasuke hated your crybaby attitude and it wasn’t long before you drifted from one another

- Once you two had to spend more time together again it took a while for you two to get warmed up to each other again

- The past and his jealousy of you being a jonin greeting in the way of a stable sibling relationship

- It took a while but you two managed to make amends

- When he set out to take revenge on Itachi, he tries to convince you to come, hating you when you refused, hating that you were stronger than him and wouldn’t avenge your clan

- Your relationship was in shambles once again

- Once he returned you two worked together when you had to but still usually avoided each other when possible

- After the war was over you two started working on fixing your relationship once again

Kakashi Hatake

- He practically adopted you

- He saw himself in you and knew he wanted to protect you

- No matter the situation Kakashi was always there for you to help

- He became a very important father figure in your life

- Helped you learn a lot of the Uchiha techniques

- He helped you with your training as a jonin and went with you on your first few missions to get you used to it

- You two had a really close bond

- Once the war started he tried to get you on he easier missions not wanting to lose you in the war.

- You mananged to convince him you could handle the war and the two of you stayed together through thick and thin

- Once the war was over you helped him with his duties and made sure everything went well

You were awakened by Mephisoto slowly shaking you awake, a tray of breakfast on the nightstand. The food smelled amazing as usual, you never had figure out whether it was Mephisoto or someone else who makes it. You were pulled out of your thoughts by Mephisoto’s sweet yet slightly hoarse morning voice.

“Morning my love, what’s going on in your pretty head this early in the morning?”

“Nothing much Mephi”.

“As fabulous as you know I am, I have to get ready for work soon.” Mephisoto said sadly, flipping his hair whilst calling himself fabulous.

You reached your hands up to play with his blue locks while giving him a look you knew he wouldn’t be able to resist.

“Please? Just stay for today?”

It didn’t take him long to succumb to your puppy eyes and roll over, placing you on top of him. He turned on the tv and put your favorite show on to watch while you cuddled. He didn’t say he would stay but you knew he wouldn’t leave you.

A few hours passed and you two had finished all the food on and in your nightstands and finished your favorite show and were now watching his. You shifted positions and accidentally ground your core into his now hard member, letting out a whimper and a small moan. Mephisoto had a smirk on his face, your noises hadn’t gone unnoticed by him.

He flipped you two over, pinning you down onto the bed and kissing you aggressively. His tongue slipped into your mouth, winning the battle for dominance. His hands slipped under your clothes, grabbing and playing with all your sensitive parts. You knew it was going to be a long day.
