Okay So Im Just Getting Back Into Gravity Falls And Im Finally Finishing The Series. Im About Halfway

Okay so I’m just getting back into gravity falls and I’m finally finishing the series. I’m about halfway through season 2, but my question is WHY is the top relationship tag for the series on ao3 Bill Cipher/Dipper Pines???

To my understanding one is an inter dimensional being bent on the entire destruction of the world, and the other is literally twelve years old!

Just. Why.

Something I really liked about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was how they handled Gamora. She’s very clearly Gamora, but the whole point is that she’s still not OUR Gamora. When Peter is trying to “get through to her”, she startled Peter (and me) with her ferocity in denying that she’s the person Peter thinks she is. It’s when I truly realized that this movie wasn’t going to have her awkwardly reintegrate into the guardians; her presence was always about helping both Peter and the audience grieve and accept Gamora’s death.

I also liked that despite Peter talking how she’s not really a ravager, the last moment we see her reuniting with her crew like THEY are her family. This Gamora has found her space family, just not with the Guardians.

I find it hilarious that The Spot’ alternate name on his ao3 character tag is “Bagel Guy”.

All right, so that analysis that the Titan’s passing is analogous to Manny’s death? The Titan sadly acknowledging to Luz that he’s rather dead-looking, for someone who should be alive; Something Manny might’ve acknowledged as his illness progressed?

The Titan saying “I thought I had more time left” as the corruption takes over?

Giving one last gift to Luz before he says goodbye and passes on? Luz making the most of that gift to live her fantasy and find friends?

I’m convinced that fanfic authors who write in first person pov WITHOUT making it sound weird are the rarest types of authors.
