Young Justice, beaking into the batcave: Gun Batman is back!

Tim: fuck! Who’s he after this time?

Jason (who is totally just there to use the bat computer. Totally not to hang out with family. Yup.): who the fuck is Gun Batman?

Kon: future Batman that kills people, we’ve dealt with him before. You want to help?

Jason: fuck yes! An excuse to beat up B? I’m always down!

Tim: oh, no. Gun Batman is me not Bruce.

Jason, looking at Tim in disbelief: WHAT?!

I know there are alot of angsty Tim does not believe he is part of the family takes but consider a hilarious twist on this where Tim 100% separates being a bat verses being a Wayne like its more of a family business type of situation. 

Like Jason goes on a full ass monologue about how Tim stole Robin and his place in the family as Dick’s brother and Bruce’s son and Tim is like??? chill I’m an employee dude. Damian tries to kill him to prove that he is the superior son and Tim is super confused because shouldn’t he go after one of Bruce’s sons instead of an unpaid intern?

Bruce has a whole heart attack when Tim tries to ask if he has a retirement plan or benefits lmfao 

Cue everyone trying to show Tim he’s part of the family except he is dodging attempts left and right (like that time he created a fake uncle just so he wouldn’t get adopted)

Duke: “sorry I’m late, I was being nosey”

Tim: [raises eyebrow] “since when are you casually nosey?”

Duke: “I’m nosey when B’s standing in the yard yelling into the void” [opens blind] “see? He looks like man who’s on his final straw with god”

Jason: [leans back] “ah, him and Clark are fighting again”

Duke: “why does he do this?” [points at the window] “is the is normal?”

Tim: “Clark pretends he’s doing missions to avoid being yelled at”

Jason: “so Bruce just yells at him from wherever he is knowing Clark will hear him”

So I put together a sort of TimKon Starter Pack of comics that I think cover the base of the Tim/Kon relationship.

World’s Finest Three #1-2 - Tim and Kon’s first meeting.

[Then comes Young Justice, which is optional because it’s not very shippy but it’s super-cute. Then some angst happens and Young Justice disbands.] (not included)

Teen Titans (vol 3) #1-2, 6, 13-14, 24-26, 32-33- these issues have a lot of Tim and Kon interaction and also cover a lot of important plot points that come up in fanfics.

Infinite Crisis #6 (Kon’s death) (optional, mostly here just to keep up with the plot) (not included)

[After Kon’s death, Tim does not deal well and tries to clone him.]

Teen Titans #37- The culmination of Tim’s attempts to clone Kon.

[Then time passes, Tim continues to be super-angsty and quits the Teen Titans and Batman “dies” and Tim becomes Red Robin and goes on a quest to find him, but Kon comes back to life!]

Adventure Comics #3 - Kon goes to find Tim after he returns.

Red Robin #9 - Kon visits Tim in Gotham (hugs!).

Red Robin #20 & Teen Titans #92 - Tim joins up with the Teen Titans again.
