this is another one from Halfbrick's vlog that was posted when they announced they were moving headquarters. i really love when Barry's drawn in this style, they always make him look so beefy and expressive!! he looks so proud of himself, probably because everyone somehow trusted him to carry the delicate computers without fumbling and dropping them lol

i LOVE this image so much :D i love seeing Barry's softer side and the fact that him and Flash read together and that Barry cares about him so much is just so heartwarming and adorable,.,.. (i like to think that after the events of Level 2, him, Flash and Craig do this all together as a sort of family y'know? family bonding time and reading fairytales with each other :) i think that's really neat)

this image is just really funny to me :) this one's from the Robot Bird rock opera. it's really funny cause like, imagine hearing your phone ring right, and you wonder "hmmm who could that be" and you pick up your phone and the only thing you see is this. you don't know who this man is or how he found your number and the very first impression he makes on you is a picture of him planking in the middle of a park. do you pick up or is that image alone too intimidating to answer?
i love how Barry just gets this blank expression whenever he's confused about something, like Craig tries to explain something basic and Barry is just gazing absentmindedly at him like "😶 huh" it's so funny XP
this one's just really cute :) it's from the trailer and i really like how Barry's drawn here!! he always looks so small and cute yet so beefy and handsome at the same time!! he looks so tiny compared to his jetpack its so silly. also i love that cat, he looks so confused and lovely, i love orange cats they're so wonderful :)
this image is adorable cause it's the most non-threatening looking Brains ever and Barry is just full on point blank pointing a double barrel shotgun at him. like literally all Brains is doing is just going "rawr >:)" and Barry is THAT threatened by him that he is about to shoot him in the face. they are so silly <3
he looks like he is about to lose it, like he looks like you've just told him something catastrophic and this is the single moment of him processing it before he goes apeshit. in reality though he just was told by Craig that his rainbow jetpack's gotta be delivered to his place lol :)

... i may or may not be making some sort of vtuber model thing for Barry Steakfries.......
i haven't got too much done yet since i'm still getting used to Gimp and using a drawing tablet, but i've gotten his eyes fully coloured so far! this is based off Barry's rig in his vlog series and i thought it'd be funny if i tried to make a vtuber model of him with no prior experience. i still need to properly align his facial features so they might look a little wonky right now.
this is kinda showing what his eyes are gonna look like and is slightly more updated than the previous screenshot. ignore any slight colouring bullshittery you may see in the middle of his pupils :3
this is the original sketch i did as a base for my digital drawing :P his eyes are a little too close to each other and his jaw is slightly skewed, so that's gonna be fixed when i get to finishing drawing his face. can't wait to colour it all !! this is mainly a personal project for myself, so no guarantee on when (or if) this will be finished/released since i have no idea what i'm doing technical-wise with the whole mapping-everything-together-and-hoping-it-works schtick, but we'll see :) i might use Live2D for him based on a simple tutorial i saw for making vtubers and whatnot. i find it so funny that i'm doing this despite not even being a vtuber nor wanting to be one, i just think Barry being a vtuber is funny

Finding An Old, Weird, Forgotten Raskulls Website
this post is dedicated to those in the Raskulls fandom... do you believe in the teapot?

this was a sort of inside joke going around Halfbrick's emails, specifically an email to a Destructoid writer in 2009. it started as a simple image attachment (the one above), before another, slightly more threatening email was sent saying you WILL believe in the teapot, as well as containing a URL to the now defunct "believeintheteapot" website. you can find the articles about this here and here. under the cut is me exploring an archive of this website and the many wack ass oddities on it.
i found out about this a little while ago, around the same time i was messing around with the Wayback Machine on Halfbrick's old blog from 2010, but i never knew there was a website related to it. seeing that the URL no longer worked, i popped it into the Wayback Machine and this is what i got:

if you're wondering what that countdown is counting down to, it's... well, Duck isn't the best counter as the website says, so it just continuously boosts up to random numbers in the thousands. guess we'll never know what godly endeavors the Holy Teapot has waiting for us... let's explore more of the site! what if i say "no" this time?

The environment is a dark rocky cave, only lit up by fire torches hooked on the walls. There is a view of the faraway darkness of the cave mouth, the walls getting darker and darker and more uncertain. Two menacing yellow glowing eyes stare back from the depths of the cave walls. In the forefront is a Raskull dressed like The Devil, resting their hands on a red staff (with its own little horns), with an angry look on their skull. They are depicted with large claw-like hands and goat's legs, as well as what seems to be a long red cape. There is a neon bar sign with the words "THE CAVE OF THE DAMNED", as well as a neon skull with an arrow pointing towards the menacing dark cave depths. Behind the Devil Raskull is the King Raskull, who doesn't seem to bothered about being in the cave and actually seems to be having a ball of the time dropping a slice of strawberry cake down a blue portal (a reference to the Portal series). To the top left corner is another orange portal where the cake is barely sticking out from.
The flash embed, like before, features a few paragraphs to the left, the Pirate Raskull to the right and a sign counting down from "79781". Pirate Raskull has a little wooden peg leg, an eyepatch, a nifty pirate hat, and a black costume with red highlights. They are looking up excitedly with their arms outstretched upwards. The paragraphs read as follows: "You've been punished for being a heathen." "The Teapot is legend, perhaps the greatest beverage dispenser since the Great Stein War of 1361. The Cave of the Damned welcomes you." "Pirate offers a way to redemption. Survive in the cave for just a short time to discover where the lore of the Teapot can lead you. ... cool! i just got sent straight to Hell! awesome! i guess the Teapot has more power than i first thought... just how many poor damned heathens are trapped within that cave? what the hell is that thing in the back? could it be the byproduct of the combined sins of those who denied lour lord and savior the Teapot? i never knew Raskulls had this much hidden lore.

... which i didn't find when searching the website on the Wayback Machine. the article is dated on the 5th of October 2009, and the earliest capture on the Wayback Machine is on the 9th. at least there are plenty more captures of the website's more updated incarnation up to 2016 and that i get to show this anomaly to you :)
