when Aphrodite claimes her sons, do they also get magic make-up, silk dress, perfect hair and glowing pink aura?
the whole camp is like "that's the most beautiful person we've ever seen 😳" and everyone tries to get his attention and flirt with him or smth, and it's a little dude in a dress and he just awkwardly stands there like "mom!! stop embarassing me!!"
or he is like "omg i'm so gorgeous✨️💅" and spins around and does a little pose
when britta said "i just have more experience with being worthless" and when she said "i act compassionate because i'm scared that i am not" it hit me hard
when goth girl with immense magical powers, who comes from a closed community feared and hated by average people and who has been sheltered from that hatred for most of her life & zany chaotic ginger guy in most random clothes you can imagine, who isn't afraid of her powers despite being an average person come off as "opposites attract" because of her looking like a gloomy black cat and him looking like a happy-go-lucky golden retriever, but actually they both are happy-go-lucky golden retrievers who have fun and travel together and also are deeply in love with each other

“I can fix him”
NO YOU CAN’T AND THAT’S THE TRAGEDY OF IT YOU CAN’T SAVE HIM IT’S TOO LATE HE’S TOO FAR GONE HE’S NOT GOOD AND HE CAN’T BE GOOD BUT HE COULD’VE BEEN AND THAT’S THE TRAGEDY OF IT HE COULD’VE BEEN GOOD HE COULD’VE BEEN GOOD IF THINGS HAD BEEN DIFFERENT BUT THEY WEREN’T AND IT’S TOO LATE NOW HE’S TOO FAR GONE HE’S DOOMED AND NOTHING CAN SAVE HIM AND HE USED TO BE GOOD AND THERE’S STILL GOOD INSIDE HIM BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER IT’S NOT ENOUGH HE’S TOO FAR GONE IT’S TOO LATE HE CAN’T BE FIXED HE CAN’T BE SAVED THE CYCLE IS NEVERENDING AND ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD WON’T UNDO THE DAMAGE HE’S BROKEN HE’S DOOMED HE’S THE SNAKE DEVOURING IT’S OWN TAIL HE CANNOT BE GOOD HE WILL NOT BE GOOD AND NOTHING IS EVER GOING TO CHANGE THERE IS NO EXIT THE CAGE IS OPEN YOU CAN WALK OUT ANYTIME YOU WANT WHY ARE YOU STILL IN THERE
Vanitas tries to knife Luna when they first meet, and Luna doesn't fight back or try to protect themselves, instead they say like "but i'm here to help you, not hurt you". And then Vanitas tries to kill Noé, but at some point Noé refuses to fight him and opens his arms, leaving himself defenseless, and promises to never leave Vanitas alone. Parallels.
(and in both scenes Vanitas passes out immediately, bc he's exhausted and sudden comfort kicks him off his feet)
