A part of always breaks at this because as the youngest sibling it makes me think would my sister do this? Would my brother? Like if they were promised a new family and all we had was each other would they just quickly leave me? Haha sorry for getting into the feels it’s just that this has always bugged me but I’m glad someone brought it it up. This just really gets me thinking…

constantly thinking about how heartbroken little nico would have been if he heard that the promise of a new family is what initially made bianca interested in joining the hunters. especially since only a few minutes earlier she literally said he was her only family. there are few less subtle ways to directly say she wanted to replace him.

Now their wings look like glass. Kinda like this:

Anyways their wings have to power to shape shift anyone with just a single “feather” and can blow strong forces of wind. Their wings can also be used for combat because as stated before their wings have the power to shape shift anyone but also itself. Each tattoo also depends on the mother or (if they’re gay or lesbian it just depends) father of the child. For example Nico has only a tattoo of two wings on his back because of his mom. Hades and Persephone being gods means they can’t contribute to how the tattoo may look. Having these tattoos allows them to identify who’s family and who’s not. So Nico could potentially use his wings to cut someone in half. A person’s wings in the family also affects the amount of power they have. Having extremely transparent wings means they have a large amount of power. Of course colors are hereditary and like eye and hair color which ever one is darker will be shown. Basically it’s like genetics for hair, eye, skin, etc in humans.

Now I kinda don’t want his family to be homophobic even tho I did that for plot in my fic. But we’re going to ignore them ok. It doesn’t matter what gender a person in this family is. If they fell in love with a man and are a man they could biologically have a child. Why this is? Idk it’s just one of strange gifts Chaos gave to them. Basically most of the family didn’t known this until the 1280’s. A lot of things happened to the family after the 1280’s.

I just thought of an AU where Bianca and Nico are demigods who are descendants of Chaos. Creation itself had made their family bloodline so they could like use magic and shit, but this also means Nico could have wings! Wings that are hidden in the form of a tattoo on his back. And And he can use magic! And And maybe the sirens were created from his family and they were just rogues. But what if his family was still alive and just were hidden in their own little kingdom I’m sorry this just came to for a moment and now I’m fucking screaming!! SHRVWUOAVDHDH

But just imagine the possibilities and the potential for how much could have been change with his family. Know what I think I might put this in my Jasico fic. FEHjuBfw

I'm gonna be honest here my first fictional crush was Bianca DiAngelo.

Notes I took while re-reading Percy Jackson. Part 3: The Titans Curse

• I completely forgot the fact that Grover and Thalia slow-dance in the beginning

• Nothing, just me absolutely lighting up at the introduction of the di-Angelo siblings

•  Percy us so utterly annoyed with Nicos questions while Nico is just absolutely starstruck is the funniest thing

• "I tried not to strangle Nico for that one." Don't worry Percy! You'll get to do it in The Last Olympian! (I'm so sorry)

• Gods, I could do a full essay about my thoughts of Bianca joining the hunters-

• I miss happy Nico :(

• Apparently there is some random background camper names Jason, and you don't know how much it threw me off when I first saw it

• Pepole forget that, because he held the burden of the sky, Luke supposedly also has a gray streek in his hair.

• I am having an urge to just write a character essay about Bianca. The way she was treated with the hunters and her decisions throughout the book can be interpreted in so many ways.

• Okay, that scene with Nico and Percy spying on Zoe and Bianca, and ESPECIALLY the scene after where Percy promises Nico that he'll keep Bianca safe is just, uh, feelings.

• Meeting Apollo after reading trials of Apollo is a weird experience because by the end of that seris he's almost a different person. But I missed his haikus, so I'm glad they're back.

• Also, "I'm incognito, call me Fred." Is just a great line.

• "For a moment, she looked a little bit like Annabeth." YOU DON'T SAY-

• I remember the first time I read Bianca's death. It was written in such a way that you wouldn't really know whether she was dead or not until the next book. I mean, no body and the prophecy specifically saying "Lost" and not dead.

• Dam.

• "Hello! We're about to die!" And then everything with Dionysus right afterwards is great! Dionysus is just a fun character (god) in general.

• Thalia casually going  "Huh, looks like we'll be facing an entire army. No biggy!"

• Zoë needs more appreciation. Gods, her final words really just.... everyone in the fandom knows them already, but with the right music, they are impact full as hell

• I think the chapter title "I get a new enemy for christmas," is one of the funniest ones because it sounds so ominous and then the enemy in question is just and angsty 10 year old.

• I may have teard up a little bit at the "Where's my sister" scene

If we see a girl with a skull ring on her finger, holding hands with a little boy, both dressed in 40s clothes...

Nico di Angelo adored children if ever they weren't afraid of him. If they were a little younger they could be, but kids under ten and above five were so stupid that they walked up to and greeted whatever other human scared them. He could never pick a favourite each summer that passes by when a few new kids get brought to the camps. He admired the brave ones as they said hi, despite his intimidating appearance. He found the scared ones cute as they silently reached for something that made them feel safer, and he liked the looks on their faces when he showed them he wasn't half bad.

Idly, he wondered which one his child would be, or if they'd even fit strictly into either category at all. Sometimes he met kids that didn't, who's to say that wouldn't be his kid?

But he avoided dwelling for too long, lest he gets himself caught in expectations his child couldn't fulfil.

"Penny for your thoughts?" he heard a beautifully familiar voice say, catching him out of his stupor. Strong arms draped onto his shoulders idly, feeling the weight of a body pushing slightly against the back of the couch. Nico felt his lips pull into a small smile. "Just..." Nico sighed. As Jason retreated from behind him and instead opted to take the seat next to him, Nico allowed his neck to bend backwards, resting the weight of his head against the couch. "Just?" Jason pushed gently, settling down into the expensive tufted velvet sofa.

The large house they lived in was built in the 1930s, designed Italianate, just how Nico liked it. The place was beautiful, warm and lived in but certainly elegant, taking bits and pieces from ninety years ago, today and the next five years and putting them together under one roof. It was as beautiful as Nico had always wanted and a design Jason adored. But would it be good enough for a child?

"The kid, is all," Nico said. Jason smiled softly, both slightly exasperated and incredibly fond. He took Nico's hand, intertwining their fingers together. "What about the kid?" he asked.

Nico pulled Jason closer to himself, "...What should we name them?"

Jason opened his mouth as if to say something before he closed it again. Another second’s hesitance passed before Jason’s voice softly ran out again, “About the names, there’s something I’d been meaning to ask you.” He said. He looked into Nico’s eyes, wanting to gouge his reaction. “If it’s a girl, would you like to name her Bianca?”

Nico couldn’t really say he was taken aback by it, or that he was surprised by the question at all. It was a valid expectation, after all, to name children after other family members. Like little girls after their aunts, for example.

…But is that what Nico really wanted?

He sighed, “I’m… not really sure.”

Jason began to massage the back of Nico’s hand with his fingers already intertwined, “Why’s that?” he asked, not really pushing, but knowing that letting Nico process his thoughts would be the best option.

“She… abandoned me, Jace.” Nico said, “She was my sister, and I had always adored her. I get it now, she was in a whole new world with nobody to look up to anymore and a younger brother she had to take care of. I get it.” Nico closed his eyes and clenched his teeth, his grip on Jason’s hand tightening. “But… she left me. She ran away with a group of girls who didn’t know her long enough to care about her. She left me alone to leave with them, and she was ready to risk leaving me behind completely, just to impress them.”

Nico’s mouth moulded into something between a scowl and a bitter smile, “I still loved her, for so, so long after that. But…”

“I didn’t realize, until years later, how selfish that sounds,” Nico said. Jason’s eyes softened, using his free hand to lay it on Nico’s cheek, beckoning the other man to look at him. Jason smiled comfortingly, “So, if not Bianca, what name should we give it if it was a girl?”

At this, Nico paused. His lips opened as if to say something then closed into a tight line, “You’re really giving me all the responsibility, huh?”

Jason laughed, “You’re better at naming things than me!” he said, jokingly petulant. “My best choice would be something like… Amanda.”

Nico smiled, “Amanda is nice.” Jason pouted at him, “But you said it wasn’t classy enough.”

Nico raised a brow at him, “Do you even know my old family back in 1942? The di Angelo’s were classy people, Grace.”

“Then what’s a classy Italian di Angelo-worthy girl’s name?”

“Bianca sounds pretty, but it already has a history on it!”

“Then what else do you have?”

“I’ll come up with one. I don’t hear you giving me a good Italian name!”

“You want one? Fine! I’ll pick... Vivia then!”

Nico paused for a moment, considering it. “Oh, I like that one. Let’s do that one.” He said, surprising Jason.

“What?” Jason said, nose scrunched as he tried to derive whether or not Nico meant that.

Nico smiled at him, brighter this time, momentarily making him forget whatever they were talking about. “I like Vivia. It means life.” Nico’s brown eyes gazed into Jason, and he could see a glint of delight in Nico’s caramel irises. “Where did you even find it?”

Jason flushed, “Just some baby names site. Y-you actually like it?”

Nico smirked at him. “It’s perfect for a future granddaughter of Jupiter and Hades. You were looking through Italian names for me?” Jason smiled, “’ Course I did.”

Nico took Jason’s chin between the thumb and index of his free hand and kissed him softly. When they pulled apart, Nico smiled. “Now, what if it’s a boy?”

There’s something extremely heartbreaking about Nicos cameo/first words in the show being him looking for Bianca. He’s always going to be the little boy looking for his big sister. Season three is going to be the end of me.

Nico: I would die for you, Will.

Will: Don't pin your suicidal tendencies on me, you selfish fuck.

Went back to look at the episode where people say they can hear(presumably Nico) calling Bianca’s name

It’s right when they stand in front of the VR station, and the voice is MUCH louder than the rest of the people during the scene

And also at some point Bianca dies and Zoë and Selina, and percy that one time-

I just want to say that although it’s literally impossible (probably) for Bianca to come back, I think it would be awesome if she did— all the lore she would have, what happened, more onto her backstory, all that. I think it would be awesome, and it might disregard the “she had to die to make Nico good/excel” because like what if she had her own thing— if she helped other demigods that weren’t Greek or Roman, what if she somehow helped with the Norse while all these wars were happening and she helped with the underworld stuff in the Norse side— I just think it would be so cool. And I know there’s not much of a chance of any return, but it would be cool if there was. I know Annabeth has a Norse connection, but what if Bianca helped some of the souls adjust or helped with Greek intel or something. I wish there were more to her, if we knew her powers and how powerful she was, if we knew if she knew what happened before the lotus because it seemed she knew more than Nico. It would be cool to see.

Maybe she shadow traveled last second out of there, nico couldn’t sense her death right because of a near death experience— maybe she realized she had a chance, she and nico, to be their own selves. Maybe she had some power to fake the messages with nico- maybe she found ways to help others. Maybe she helped the gods and goddesses or helped out here dad and Persephone a lot in the underworld (headcannon sorta)

Headcannons for Bianca if she were ever brought back:

- Step down from the huntresses, I agree with thinking that she joined because she thought it were a way to experince what she couldn’t have but I think if she were revived, it’d be different

- Birthday is in late May (she gives off those vibes)

- Shadow travel, seeing and talking to ghosts, is able to see the Norse side and help (like, imagine her mom was part Norse and she inherited a lot of it and is able to help those people adjust to everything and knows which Greek/roman people are in there)

- I feel like she’d take a while to adjust to history because she didn’t get it like Nico did or even like Hazel— she’s basically on her own and I’d imagine she’d just go into a library one afternoon and stay until closing just reading about history and all that’s happened in the past 80 years.

- Wouldn’t know how to approach Nico— I mean how would you talk to someone like that? He’d probably be angry too, so I’m imagining she’d start with Thalia who told her to contact Hazel first in order to ease into conversations with Nico calmly since he’d have a lot of emotions

- I feel like she’d have a sarcastic sense of humor, like I feel like she’d get along with Kayla but not really step into always hanging out to give Nico space with his friends

- She’d probably hangout with Thalia a lot since they have stuff in common, both having to be mothers when they didn’t want to be and losing everyone for a while— leaving and then coming back. All that.

- Angry at Percy for being violent with her brother but mostly gives him dirty looks when she’s angry (that’s sorta in the book too)

- Claustrophobic

- Overwhelmed by everything that’s going on— Apollo’s a good guy, three massive wars/battles, having another sibling, actually being allowed to contact the Norse side (I feel like that wouldn’t have been okay until the Roman and Greek sides got along, and then it’s okay to contact and do stuff like that.)

- Be friends with Annabeth, I feel like they’d share a bit of appreciation for architecture especially since Bianca has been all over the country. I also think Bianca is very logical and that’s something they’d bond over— Annabeth would want to be friends with her granted everything that went down and Bianca is able to give her much safer updates about her cousin until safe phones are created
