My 14 yo has some friends with shitty parents. These friends spend a lot of time here, because here they don’t get deadnamed constantly, talked down to, etc. I love that they feel safe, seen, and accepted here. I want to continue to be available to them. 

Here’s the problem. They are teenagers and they eat a fuck lot of food, and my grocery budget is not large to begin with, especially for snacks and the like. Summer is coming and it’s only going to get worse. 

So, if you have a few bucks to spare, or if you were a kid with crappy parents who found refuge at a friend’s home but are wondering how maybe you can pay that forward, consider throwing it toward Mama Voxy’s Feed All These Queer Kids In Her House Fund.

My parents, for all their narcisstic bullshit, were those parents who took in a ton of kids they didn’t have to. Maybe they did it because it made them look good, but there’s about ten adults in the world that are safe and mostly whole because they had a loving home when they needed one most. HOWEVER, they made more money than me so it wasn’t a big hardship for them.

Okay so I’m not actually sure if there’s a “right” answer to whether aspec people are LGBTQ but like,,, does it really matter? I know and understand not wanting cishets taking everything from us but like,,,,, ace, aro, and aroace people aren’t cishet (at least, not entirely) and it’s not like they’re taking anything away from the community so.... I don’t have a real answer I’m just not sure the argument is worth the toll it’s taking on the community
