i was in a mood that day that i commented on this post of yours so please do forgive my bluntness in my comment on your post i just didn’t like that you didn’t capture the essence of what i wanted to hear about myself and that made me upset even though i could literally just write up a post myself on it and i did not have to take it out on you like that.

i would be honored (!) to explain to you that capricorn venuses don’t have to come off as capitalistic materialistic rich freaks unlike the stereotypes that are spread around like wildfire, so i don’t blame you obviously. like yes all those gifts would be nice i guess if you were a middle aged ceo but not every capricorn venus grows up to be a billionaire and those gifts come off to me as so impersonal and how do i say….? corporate culture ugly. i’d also like to argue that what you were saying wasn’t very “traditional” things to give to someone.

firstly a little analysis in general. capricorn venus is literally saturn and venus meshed. so they’ve experienced frugality potentially in their ways of loving or being loved and may have felt like they couldn’t indulge in certain things at some point in their life. so they have a good understanding of their basic necessities they need to go forth and continue in life.

luxury and quality things aren’t always material things it can also just be quality time spent together, doing things for each other, spoiling them with specific items that peak their specific interests, etc. but yes quality materials are awesome and special to capricorns because they can be afraid to buy things for themselves. sustainability and longevity is ideal!

this venus sign likes old things! vintage and minimalism but not in the new modern age sense as in their home is white and classy and green or whatever, but they carry with them the things they’ve carried with them through the past. so can like definitely be old fashioned timeless type of antiqueness.

something useful that you can take with you and hopefully treasure that'll last forever and it doesn't need to be flashy unless it has some sort of significant meaning associated with capricorns. i feel like they might be picky or selective about what specifically they enjoy or who they like and indulge in but when they do set on someone or something they really will love it for as long as they can.

but truly just honoring their time with you is more than enough. like go ahead and throw some money at them and hug them and tell them you appreciate their presence in you're life and they’ll be happy. (if they actually like you of course) but i'd say verbal praise is wonderful in general for a capricorn venus especially from ppl they respect!
