Cassie has a different life depending on the story she's in. So, in my collection of short stories: Quiet Girl, Cassie is involved in a reverse harem. This is made to be a comedy, but I wanted to make this with a female main character to showcase a different side to women. All the time women fall into similar categories and I almost never see them being "perverted" characters when—let's be honest—women can be just as bad as anyone else.

I used characters from my other stories so I'll explain their origins here and you can read their personality from Quiet Girl.

Our first character is Ankara. He's an older gentleman who originally was made for a story titled The Eternal Forest. Ankara was a "warden" of sorts; he maintained order within the forest and acted as a protective figure to all the characters.

In Quiet Girl, he acts similarly, being the founder and CEO of a media company. Cassie works under him as a writer and they often find themselves enjoying their company…

So, I wanted to do this, cuz I love character clothes as they tell an interesting story about the character through colors and styles.

For this, I wanted to talk about the clothes the Obey Me boi's wear✨

Why them?

Well, because it's pretty common to hear people ragging on their clothes. Saying they look ugly and whatnot, but personally I can't agree. I'm glad they're not generic outfits and they rep the character's personality very well. I also have headcannons for their clothes, so I wanna share them!

I won't be talking about their RAD outfits or event outfits (Lucifer has a notable exception). I wanted to talk about their casual wear and human world fits.

So...

Lucifer's Casual Clothes

Lucifer is a typical stoic character complete with the CEO suits. In all seriousness, Lucifer has to keep up appearances and I feel why his outfit is over the top for "casual clothing" comes from his history.

As a former Angel, he most likely feels as if he should uphold the honor he once had even as a demon. Alongside that, he's pretty much the boyfriend second hand of Diavolo and has to maintain an air of importance and you're not gonna get that just wearing anything.

He's not a stiff, but he understand his importance and value and showcases that in his attire.

Lucifer's Human World Fit

I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw this, I thought we were gonna be in college or something 'cause he looks like a professor here. I'm sure we'd all like that. Though, what I said above applies here as well 💁

Lucifer's Beach Outfit

I wanted to talk about this, 'cause I remember seeing a Twitter thread of people upset that Lucifer wasn't shirtless. I wanted so bad to say "of course he's not, Lucifer would never be naked in public."

It's canon that Lucifer is a hot commodity and Mammon is always looking for a chance to sell his photos. Lucifer has explicitly stated that he's "not like that anymore" when referring to a more free and relaxed version of himself. So it's perfectly in character that he's not shirtless and I love that the devs didn't just forget that part of his personality in favor of fan service (personally I like the wetsuit, it looks really nice in his card).

For a while, I'm going to take over and instead just talk about the relationships my characters have.

Anyways, so I'll start with Ankara again to start from the basics.

Ankara is the founder and CEO of a world renowned media company named Wry Co. He is 30 years young and attracts a lot of attention from... Just about anyone who likes men, though he's mostly unaware of this attention.

“I went to one of the premieres of our latest film, and I guess there must have been a picture taken of me. Everyone is saying I could bust them or I should… split them in half.” Cassie tried to hold back her laugh. “Do I really look scary?”

His naivety aside, Ankara acts as a mostly supportive figure to Cassie allowing her grow within his company. They produce a vast amount of media including movies, books, magazines, comics, games and they are currently attempting to start a record label.

Ankara was slated to become a doctor, but took on the role of owing a business for his own love of movies and games. It soon blew up and is now one of the most well known companies.

Cassie works under him in the literature department where her stories are turned into small comics or full fledged novels! His relationship with her is built off of the first time he read her works.

His relationship with the other character is mostly business and will be elaborated on in time!

With the few character's I've talked about already, he has no actual relationship with Brayleigh past knowing he exists and Aki is similar.

Akuma, on the other hand, is a young rival of his in this story. Him and Akuma constantly fight over their business practices as well as their decisions within their respective companies.

So, chapter 2 is out and this time I wanted to talk about the cover.

This is actually my 3rd favorite cover I've made.

Originally, it was going to be the main characters, but I can't really draw and couldn't handle the embarrassment of what I actually came up with 🤙

So, instead, I made this! I was thinking it could be seen as the "what do you seen in the black and white blot" test, but I made it to be a representation of the two characters and their personality/feelings.

Why it's in black and white has to do with the theme.

I didn't want to go with the gray area because the MCs aren't changing, they're allowing themselves to be who they are in a world of black and white.

Personally, trying to change who I am so people will like me or want to be my friend has never really worked, so I wanted to make a story based on that feeling. The feeling that you'll never have friends just because of who you are, but you don't want to, or shouldn't, change who you are. It's meant to be uplifting and give people the sense that there's no need to change yourself just to make friends.

Akihiko has a very long history as a character. Having gone through several changes to being based on my actual life, Akihiko is an ideal boyfriend I made up when I was in middle school. Having dealt with a serious crush I never acted on, I always felt like I could bring myself some confidence to tell him my feelings if I just wrote what would happen. So Aki is made in his image and it made for an interesting story. Instead of Aki and Cassie ending up together, they wind up breaking up. Why, because when I decided to make them break up was at the same time me and my crush graduated from middle school and were going to different highschools. I felt like I should let him go and maybe my interest in him wasn’t reciprocated, so I shouldn’t force someone to like me, when they might not be interested in me. I wanted to show that sometimes you’re not meant to be with the “perfect” person, just the person who fills the half of you, you yourself can’t.

Oh, here we are again 👋

Honestly my entire life is absorbed by my stories and I give myself headaches from thinking about them. If you're like me, maybe we would get along, idk.

Anyways, this time my world building is more about the environment.

All The Screams is a story I wrote in highschool to display my feelings of what I deemed was a "curse" that bad things always seemed to happen to me. I don't mean like I lost my pencils, I mean I would sometimes have to redo entire assignments thanks to my teacher losing my work 🤦

That stuff bothered me as a kid so instead of rebelling, I became a nerd and made this story.

Little Miss Ann was so invested in this story she even drew stuff for it.

During the course of the story, these guys meet up in a variety of ways, most uniquely is Quana who is a fairy spirit who acts as a parasite.

Then I made monsters

That last one is the main antag, and in order to not spoil anything (in case anyone wants to ever read this), it's meant to be a creature that has no form, it changes from time to time, but when I got my 1st phone, this is the very first thing I did with a drawing app 🤓

These monsters are very important to the story. They frequently become obstacles for the crew and sometimes they need to find something in order to progress.

So, I clearly need more monsters and plethora more of fauna and flora, but while this story digs its grave in my mind, this is all I can do.
