Thinking about Albert and Martin getting each other birthday gifts. They probably missed Albert's first birthday together bc he didn't carr enough to bring it up and Martin just didn't know. Albert would get Martin a bunch of stuff for hair and skincare, also vinyl records and books. Maybe some sweets w strawberry. Martin would get him something woolen, like a scarf, and some videogame cds and cartridges plus some nice bonus stuff like maybe a special edition version of some game. Also he'd make food. Maybe bake a cake or at least try, he's not as good at baking as he is at cooking everything else. He'd also probably get him some books bc Albert said he wants to start reading again. Maybe even just his own copies of books they already have, like Night Watch or something

um its😭 well it started w my projection fic ngl loll like this is not a well thought out concept… YET. but i think if i tried hard enough i could make a case for stone top!meredith (and stone bottom!addison). (ik i am alone in this concept bc everyone wants to be topped by addison LMFAO). (which im not judging bc like #relatable). just been thinking abt this concept for. personal reasons😭😭

i have this draft cooking rn regarding addison’s relationship w sex (im very normal) and how it relates to her Loneliness. and tbh bc of this i like that touch starvation post to apply more so to addison lol. like derek’s neglect/absence leading her to be so touch starved…. ok ok. but i support ur touch starved!meredith thoughts🫶🫶

but enough abt addison lol. w meredith. and cw/tw for sa, i think abt That Night w her and george (and as im typing this im realizing the similarity between meredith and addison and Sex And Loneliness) and how that night could affect how she wants/doesnt want to be touched from that point on. and ohh when u pair that w headcanoning her as lesbian (ik u hc her as bi, which respect, but bear w me😭) and ofc not every stone is stone due to trauma, but ykw it applies here. so anyway. Touch making meredith sick and nauseous,,,, yeah. but u could even think abt it as meredith starving, not to Be Touched, but To Touch. (or meredith starving to Be Touched, but very specifically). and here comes addison, starving to Be Touched. ohhh🫠🫠🫠

Long af rant about Velvette's old design and character as I share my art of her :D

Pilot Velvette/ Og Velvette gives extreme babydoll harley quinn vibes, which is a stark contrast from how she ended up being in the show. I like to imagine that something extreme happened to her, like a horrible breakup or betrayal, and she went all crazy. This is the version of her we see in the pilot. The Voxtagram stories seemed to lean into this, depicting her as more immature, bratty, and murderous. She also depended more on Vox and Val like she saw them more as father figures than co-workers. (Just a thought.) However, as she adapted more to the landscape of hell she became the Velvette in the show; A fashion icon girlboss who is much more independent and while not serious, much more mature than her pilot counterpart, and even the other Vees. They ditched her psycho vibe to replace it with something that made more sense to her character.

Something that I personally wonder is: Why was Velvette like this in the beginning if she was meant to focus on fashion? A puffy Lolita dress goes against the Vees whole idea of being up to date, so what was the original vision for her? People have complained about Velvette already having too much going on for her, being both the overlord of fashion, master of social media, backbone of the vees, selling a love potion, etc. If those ideas were already there, did they just think a crazy serial killer girl would be even more extra clutter to her personality? 

A concept many fans I've talked with is if the Vees personalities in the pilot stayed. Val would be pretty much the same, but the other two were almost different characters. In the Voxtagram stories, Vox let Val beat him around, had a goofy pet, and seemed to care less about his public image to remain more villainous. Velvette I already discussed was extremely different, the only thing connecting her to our Velvette is her connection with the Vees and fashion.  In this universe, would Velvette see Vox and Val as toxic dads who kept breaking up and getting back together again, instead of seeing them as equals and KEEPING THEM TOGETHER? it's a wild shift. 

Essentially, Pilot Velvette acted more like a bratty little girl, while her show version acts more like a annoyed but controlling teen. We see her pilot look as her profile picture, so this 'phase' of hers is still canon. I know she already died as an adult, which is why I'm so curious as to why she originally acted this way. Did Viv think she would be a better contrast to Vox and Val like this? To be fair, a spoiled brat AND annoyed girlboss are both contrasts of their personalities, just two different approaches. Was their originally going to be a backstory for her as to why she was this way? or was she just crazy to BE manipulative? or you know, just liked murder while looking cute like Niffty. speaking of Niffty…

I think Niffty is the most likely reason why they changed Velvette's design and personality. we already have a little crazy girl who admires 2 men she sees as older figures and enjoys murder for mysterious reasons. It mightv'e seemed a little counter-intuitive if there was 2 versions of the same character stereotype. Another reason they could've changed her is that she stands out more. If we're supposed to take Velvette as an overlord seriously, how are we supposed to do that when she leans back on the other two guys and looks like she's from a horror movie? Sure, I'm positive pilot Velvette could've been intimidating at times when she got legitimately frightening. however, this didn't seem like her vibe 95% of the time. It might've made her blend more into the background of the Vees than she practically already does. (Which is just a problem for female Vivzie characters but that's a whole separate rant.)

A headcanon of mine is that this was just her psycho little girl brat phase, and she is hella embarrassed over it. like a teen being embarrassed over their phases of when they were a kid. and Vox and Val would constantly piss her off by reminding her of it. That could lead to some fun banter in the future I would love to see as a reference to the pilot. 

Anyways, sorry for the literal Essay I wrote here again, just a ton of over-analyzing which I'm best at. Personally, I do vibe with Velvette's new design and character for the show, I just cant help but think of why she used to be so different and arguably had the BIGGEST character shift from pilot to show In Hazbin Hotel.

Despair.

When despair felt like the best alternative to happiness, it was easier said than done to try and improve. The world was how it was going to be and there was very little I could do to change it… let alone the circumstance I was put inside.

Assistance was something I could only hope for.

Friendship wasn’t likely.

Love isn’t common.

Life never played in my favor. Almost like some story being written as the days went on—nothing was planned, just improvised for someone else’s enjoyment.

All the despair I feel from a life not lived has caught up. This life should have control, maybe I should try after so long.

Today will be the day

So, I wanted to do this, cuz I love character clothes as they tell an interesting story about the character through colors and styles.

For this, I wanted to talk about the clothes the Obey Me boi's wear✨

Why them?

Well, because it's pretty common to hear people ragging on their clothes. Saying they look ugly and whatnot, but personally I can't agree. I'm glad they're not generic outfits and they rep the character's personality very well. I also have headcannons for their clothes, so I wanna share them!

I won't be talking about their RAD outfits or event outfits (Lucifer has a notable exception). I wanted to talk about their casual wear and human world fits.

So...

Lucifer's Casual Clothes

Lucifer is a typical stoic character complete with the CEO suits. In all seriousness, Lucifer has to keep up appearances and I feel why his outfit is over the top for "casual clothing" comes from his history.

As a former Angel, he most likely feels as if he should uphold the honor he once had even as a demon. Alongside that, he's pretty much the boyfriend second hand of Diavolo and has to maintain an air of importance and you're not gonna get that just wearing anything.

He's not a stiff, but he understand his importance and value and showcases that in his attire.

Lucifer's Human World Fit

I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw this, I thought we were gonna be in college or something 'cause he looks like a professor here. I'm sure we'd all like that. Though, what I said above applies here as well 💁

Lucifer's Beach Outfit

I wanted to talk about this, 'cause I remember seeing a Twitter thread of people upset that Lucifer wasn't shirtless. I wanted so bad to say "of course he's not, Lucifer would never be naked in public."

It's canon that Lucifer is a hot commodity and Mammon is always looking for a chance to sell his photos. Lucifer has explicitly stated that he's "not like that anymore" when referring to a more free and relaxed version of himself. So it's perfectly in character that he's not shirtless and I love that the devs didn't just forget that part of his personality in favor of fan service (personally I like the wetsuit, it looks really nice in his card).

Mammon's Casual Clothes

He's one half of what I like to call the influencer squad. He's actually the reason this series exists. I watched a funny video 🤡ing all the boy's outfits from an outsider perspective and this person commented on Mammon's shoes. However they may seem to the average human, those into fashion may see things differently.

It's no secret designer fashion is lost on most the human population, but designers have to come up with unique styles that suit a vision they're trying to create. Because of this, to you and me, it just looks like a strange way to wear boots, as does most designer fashion even irl. One notable comparison is from a Jeffery Star comment.

Someone had remarked on how his Gucci Track Suit was tacky and costs more than a house. So, Mammon's clothes represent 1. His love for all things of value and 2. His interest in fashion. All wrapped up in a pretty tsudere bow 💞

Mammon's Human World Fit

More or less, his Human world outfit is why I dubbed him an "influencer." You can't tell me this doesn't scream "Instagram pic."

The minute I saw this, I was confused as to why Mammon even had a jacket on, if he's not actually wearing it. However, it probably looks was more stylish off the shoulder than it does on. So, once again, this is reflecting his interest in fashion and I'm here for model Mammon 💅

Levi's Casual Outfit

I actually had a love for this outfit for the longest and didn't change him on my home screen for nearly a year after I unlocked it.

Why I liked this?

Well, because it looks perfect to game in. As someone who plays video games, you sit on your ass for hours and don't have time to stop to change anything on you.

So if it's too hot, take the jacket off and wear the undershirt.

If it's too cold, put it back on.

In addition to him wearing joggers, which is just the most "gamer" thing I've ever seen, his clothes just look really comfortable. They look as if you could wear them for hours and not be bothered by jeans being too tight or a dress shirt getting uncomfortable after a while of sitting.

11/10 for me.

Levi's Human World Fit

As for this one, I didn't like it at first, but now I'm desperately farming for shards to get this 😷. Now, this takes a turn from him being comfy as this looks more athletic. Athletic clothes aren't made for comfort, they're made to be flexible and work with your body as you do exercises...

Wait, exercise and Levi in the same sentence?

Joke aside, I think this suits him well and why I think that lies in the convention world. I've never been to a convention before, but I often see guides to your 1st and everyone says you better bring water, food and to take breaks every so often. I would assume Levi prepped himself to go to every convention, event, pop-up store, theme shop and more when in the human world, so he has to be flexible and not exactly "comfy."

Bonus that his jacket looks awesome and makes me wanna wear it. Who am I kidding, I wanna wear all his jackets and clothes

Levi's Beach Outfit

I wanted to add that I was happy when I saw Levi had next to no body definition in this outfit.

It's always so weird to see his body look similar to Lucifer's, Beel's or Diavolo's when he doesn't work out and is super out of shape (getting winded at a casual jog). I'm glad they fixed this compared to his original beach card that had him with a whole ass six pack when that doesn't make any logical sense.

I don't hate the view, obviously 😏, but not all guys have to be ripped to be attractive. Lower that standard and just let guys be healthy the same way I want girls to just be healthy!
