In my recent slump, I was able to extend one finished story and now it's a novel!

As for this story, I'm still not finished with this self edits, but the story is done and I can say I never expected it to get anywhere close to 50k âș
As for the other story I'm still writing, it just reached.... 100k!!

Truly, this story was just a random idea I got and it's still baffling to me it had 100k because it doesn't even feel that long.
I'm still working on it, so I'm curious to see the final word count đ€
Anyways, that's the post, thank you for reading about my excitement đ
Can we squash "love what you write or nobody will love it"
because it sounds way too much like the neuronormative "love yourself or nobody will."
Do you care enough about your story to write it down? Somebody will love it.
You don't have to love your first draft for somebody else to love it.
You don't have to love your final draft for somebody to love it.
Writing is a skill that can be improved with practice. So is loving yourself. You donât need to be even close to good in that skill for somebody to love your story, or you.
Did you care enough to try? Then somebody will love your writing.

So, this is the end of my little series, I hoped anyone who read it enjoyed it and got something out of it, even if it was just a little laugh at my ridiculous series đ
I don't exactly know how to end this, but I guess I'll have a little update here to explain where the story is currently.
So, as of 3/19/24 I haven't worked on this story one bit. It's not that I've abandoned it, but with being an adult, I can't spend my time working on it like I want to. Also, for me motivation is a big issue so I usually end up not working on anything because I feel discouraged.
I'm in a decent headspace now so perhaps I'll find the time to work on it.
Outside of that, I do have everything planned and can say the story only gets more ridiculous as it goes on. A sneak peak into book 5 is that they end up going into a dimension rift where the world is set in the fifties and mafia gangs rule the streets.
Yes, this is a real plot point.
So, for now, that's it and I hope there's more to the story for anyone who might be interested!
Thanks for reading as always~đ
Note: if anyone's curious as to why I didn't share the 3rd book, it's because it has sensitive topics and unless some expresses interest in seeing it, I don't wanna add to the millions of other sensitive topics on the internet.
But, now it's time for the last member of the group.
Gast doesn'thavealastnamebecausespoliers

Gast is a very shy boy who seems to have no presence. When he's at school, he's frequently ignored where people don't even notice he's standing right in front of them. He doesn't mind that since he's a worried, anxious, and shy young man.
Being a new student, no one really even knows who he is either. However, he ends up seeing the group when they're exiting a rift and after seeing other strange events like this, asks the group if he could be protected by them.
Cassie is extremely willing to help him out and he joins the group!
Because of his low presence, they often use Gast to get things they would otherwise be seen trying to obtain. Gast is also very sensitive to emotions and because of that has a fear of animals since they're more emotion based than humans or other species.

Here's an excerpt of my boi:
*A/n: he goes by Abel when he's first introduced*
Neither Cassie nor Larson were very concerned about the individual, but they felt differently about how to handle him having seen them.
Jax was more level headed and tried to think of the situation as rationally as he could.
âYou g-guys are freaks!â The boy started to breathe very heavily. Taking in audible, quick, and deep breaths while holding his chest.
âWoah, calm downâŠâ Jax tried to ease him. âCan you tell us your name at least?â
His eyes shut tight, but he spoke. âA-abelâŠâ He seemed to be getting worse with his erratic breathing and unsteady feet.
Jax continued his efforts and told him to sit down. Abel now sat inside Jaxâs car while catching his breath.
The trio then moved to stand around him. With how everything seemed, they needed to make a decision sooner rather than later. However, that wasn't going to happen while the boy remained in his state of distress.
Cassie stayed a bit away from him in order to give him some breathing room and no one said anything. They let him calm down and soon he seemed to be getting better.
At this, Cassie spoke up. âAre you good now?â
âA bit betterâŠâ He managed to say. âBut thatâs all.â He paused looking up. âB-but, still, can you guys tell me whatâs g-going on?â
âWhat do you mean by that?â Larson asked.
âLike, you guys going into that⊠thing o-over there and coming out like two minutes later!â
âIt was really two minutes?â Cassie turned and asked Jax.
Jax smiled. âThatâs a good base to start with, but Iâd still like to get a real timer and make a proper conversion.â
âWhat are you guys talking about?â Abel asked.
âNothing, but if youâre really curious, answer my question first and youâll get your answer?â Larson said. Abel said nothing and he went on. âWhy did you follow us?â
Abel took a small pause and lowered his head slightly. âWhile youâre right that I was kind of⊠s-stalking you guys. I only was because you guys turned down that girl whoâs been bothering me!â
âYou mean that kind of promiscuous girl?â Cassie spoke.
Larson scoffed. âI think you mean a slu-â
âIâll kill you if you say that Lars.â He clicked his tongue and didnât speak. âBut her?â Cassie asked, returning her attention to Abel.
âYeah⊠her name is Mandy and ever since I got here, she wonât leave me alone.â He let out an uncomfortable moan. âShe finds me wherever I am, no matter how hard I try to avoid her. On that day when you guys were with your dog in the park, she found me there as well! Then, I saw you guys talking and she left and hasn't bothered me since then.â He explained. âI just kind of⊠want that to continue.â His voice dropped off by the end.
âWhy?â Jax asked.
âBecause! I-I just donât want people getting too c-close to me⊠I-Iâm not the type of person who likes a lot of attention, I just wanna be left alone...â His voice trailed as he went on and his head dropped with every word.
âBut weâre fine?â Larson seemed unconvinced.
Abel tried to defend himself. âI-itâs a lot better than having a g-girl who n-never knows when to leave you alone,â Abel said, âp-plus, like I said; I saw you guys go in that thing and⊠and that's not the weirdest thing Iâve seen since I got here! I saw a guy lift up a boulder with o-one finger and I figured he was just like you guys and I-â He began to breathe heavily again.
Cassie crouched down and gave him a soft smile. âHey, you donât have to tell us, okay?â He looked at her. âI can believe you, and I think I know what youâre asking of us.â
âHuh?â Abel said as Cassie returned to standing normally.
âYou want to be our friend!â Everyone just stared at her. âI know you all are staring at me like Iâm crazy, but screw all of you âcause I know Iâm right.â She snapped at their silence. âWhether you like it or not, the only way we can protect you from all these dangerous things going around is for you to be our friend.â Cassie turned back and gave the biggest smile she could to Jax and Larson. âAlright?â
âI should be impressed,â Larson said, âit only took you seconds to decide something this time.â
âSee? Iâm getting better arenât I?â
âMore like worse.â
Cassie frowned. âWhat did you say?â
Cassie and Larson began to bicker while Jax just returned to Abel. âDo you mind accepting her offer? Cassieâs a hard one to turn down.â
Abelâs eyes fixed on them, he felt himself calm down seeing as how none of them were totally fixated on him. âI donât know if I should trust you guys yet or not.â
Jax smiled. âAt the very least, if Cassie says it, itâs a given. So if she wants you to be her friend, then it means we all agree.â
Abel looked up at Jax before letting out a sigh. âIâm⊠alright being friends with you all⊠that is if I really can?â
Jax smiled. âLike I said, itâs a given if Cassie says so.â Jax then looked up in thought. âBut I wouldâve waited if I were you.â
Abel's eyes widened. âH-huh? Why?â
Jax laughed. âIâm kidding.â
Abel let out a sigh and relaxed as the pair went on arguing...

Fun fact: Gast's hair style is based on Belphie's from Obey Me! I didn't intend for that, but after I made it, I realized they were too similar to be coincidence.

Next up is one of the secondary characters who is introduced after she's kidnapped by a cult (and no, this isn't anything major in the story lol).
Mandy Modesta

She is also a senior and spend most of her time at school dating. Mandy is very pretty and has always attracted male attention, she didn't start seriously dating until she was seventeen where her behavior stems from a desire to be loved.
Because of this, Mandy is pansexual and actually loves anyone in whatever form they come in. This even extends to the creatures she encounters inside of rifts.
Mandy has an unnatural ability to find the group no matter where they are and this is what leads to her eventually joining! Within the group, Mandy helps them find things they otherwise wouldn't be able to. Her and Cassie get along very well because Cassie loves to be loved and Mandy loves to love.
The scene below is when Cassie is being presumed by a guy who wants to date her and Mandy does her best to protect Cassie.

Unfortunately, Mandy officially doesn't show up until the fourth book, so there's not really full defining moments for her yet.
So, she'll be the exception and I'll detail a bit I have planned for her!
Despite her being very sexualized, I intend to build her character in a way where we find out why she's like this. Of course I won't spoil what it is exactly, but it does have something to do with her family.
Because of this, her and Cassie are suppose to form an even stronger bond with each other since they both share similar feelings, but about different things.
Also, my girls also have more impactful plots as Cassie has a subplot with her feelings about how people treat her. Similar to Mandy, they bond over that feeling at some point in the story.

Fun fact: when I first designed her, I happened to be very interested in 'baddies' so Mandy's attire is based on what typical Insta baddies wear.

Jax Barmen!

He's a super cute cutie and aside from his role in the story being related to the researcher who initially discovered 4th Dimensional beings (no, that's not a big deal in the story). Jax serves as the groups researcher.
He's extremely intelligent and enjoys theoretical research. Being a senior in high school, he has plans to go off to college and become a theoretical scientist.
Jax is also the pretty/popular boy of the school. Everyone loves him because he's personable and friendly. Jax is my sweet boy who tries his best to make sure the girls and women around him are taken care of and comfortable, and anyone else is met with nothing but kindness. I don't even think it's possible for him to even have bad thoughts.
Jax is also kind of the dad of the group being able to settle everyone down when they're feeling stressed or anxious about something. Outside of that, Jax often is the reasonable one of the group being able to make rational decisions and account for what they should or shouldn't be doing.
I actually just made this drawing randomly and it's not based on the excerpt. Here, Jax and Cassie are essentially having a sleep over where Jax is going to teach her something she's interested in. They're so cute too, they're suppose to he wearing matching PJs âș
Also, his hair is different because I'm very bad at drawing đ

Here's a snipit of him!
It was now silent in the car, Jax got to a stop light and spoke to the pair.
âYou guys are arguing about this? Have either of you thought about the actual situation?â
Larson looked at Jax. âYou must want to die.â Larson threatened. âI am thinking about the situation.â
âNo, youâre only thinking about disagreeing with Cassie because you believe sheâs wasting our time. You have yet to say any kind of idea you have.â
Larson looked off and let out an audible sigh.
Cassie smiled. âYeah, at least Iâm trying to come up with something!â
Jax looked back at Cassie. âAnd you are deciding things without concern about consequence.â
Cassie shrunk under his voice. âBut I-â
âI know, Cassie, you think this will be good. So I have to ask you, why is it good?â
Cassie sat back. âBecause⊠weâll get to have allies if we help them?â
âThatâs a good reason, but here you miss a major pointâwe could also find out more about rifts. If they know things we donât then itâll only benefit us, but at what cost?â
Cassie was going to say something, but remained quiet.
So Jax continued. âWe donât know if theyâre stronger than you guys and they very well might be. So maybe next time just say you have a good idea and we can go from thereâŠâ Cassie pressed her lips together. âAnd Lars, maybe donât doubt Cassie for every little thing she does. Have some faith in her gut choices and listen to her suggestions, but I agree with your concern. This might be a huge waste of time, but I believe weâll get something out of it and thatâs worth the risk.â
The silence continued after he finished talking. The frustrated pair sat with his words without a single retort. Eventually, when the light turned green, Jax started to drive again.
Larson let out a sigh and spoke. âBesides sounding like a parent whoâs scolding his children, youâŠhave a point,â Larson began, âbut what are we even going to get from this?â
âAs I said, we may be able to learn more about rifts. As well as other species that might exist within them.â Jax stated calmly.
Larson sighed. âFine, weâll consider taking this guy downâŠâ
âAlright, weâll go from there.â With that Jax ended the conversation...
Next post
Fun fact: his design still isn't what I want, but it's close enough that I'm willing to settle for this. Jax also does his own hair and at one point, I added a scene where Cassie doesn't know how to give herself cornrows and Jax helps her đ
Here's the second book's self-made cover!
The Crimson Soul is the start of the group discovering more of the world around them. Finding out things they otherwise would have to de research on.
The exploration in this book is specifically about one rift they encounter after scouring their town for any anomalies.

Here's an excerpt:
As the world around her changed into the Rift world, Cassie found herself still innocently interested in the entire place. In her mind this place looked-
âLike it was raining blood for days!" Her eyes went everywhere they could. "This is the kind of stuff you see in horror films or those dystopias!â She said to no one.
Cassie looked at her phone seeing that only two minutes had passed. She sighed and tried to occupy herself for the remainder of the time. As she was going to, she felt a slight vibration. âHmm?â
The vibration turned into full on shaking and when she looked up, her eyes were covered by a shadow. She held her hand above her eyes in order to see better and there she saw the figure of a giant staring down at her.
âWell, donât you look mad?â
This large being made no effort to respond to her comment. As it towered over her, Cassie remained looking up at it.
âCreature. What brings you here? Are you the one who has been here before?â
Cassie nodded. âIâm here for a little⊠I don't know what it's called." Cassie paused for a while and thought about the right word.
The beast spoke at that time. âSo that means youâre the one who came and kept my people from killing that human?â
Cassie didn't speak for a bit and the beast began to get impatient.
âDamn, I can't think of the word, but yeah I did do that." She looked up. âWith that commanding tone you have, my guess is youâre Sarkon⊠right?â Cassie assumed.
âSekon, you insolent creature!â Cassie smiled a bit. âWith your insolence, do you believe youâre going to get out of here alive now?â
âNot really⊠well, at least I know you think youâre going to kill me, but hear me out.â
âWhy should I? Whatâs stopping me from just crushing you into our fertile crust?â
âBecause youâre looking for challengers, right?â
Sekon paused, but eventually spoke. ââŠthatâs correct.â
âThen Iâll fight you!â
âWillingly? You arenât looking for some kind of bargain to hold over my head?â
âOf course not, Iâm honorable.â
Sekon laughed at her. âBesides me taking a liking to your blunt nature. I am bored and am in need of some entertainment.â
âIâm sure you are, but do we have a deal?â
âYes, we do.â
âOkay, but hopefully you actually wait for a fair fight 'cause right now Iâm a bit distracted. It wonât be much fun to crush me if Iâm not going all out.â
âYou are correct. Whatever it is youâre doing should be finished before tomorrow. You have my word that I wonât attack you before then.â
Cassie pursed her lips. âI know I probably shouldnât trust you, but eh, whatever. Iâll be back here tomorrow and Iâll even have someone else who might be interested in fighting you as well!â Cassie's voice was chipper as she spoke.
Sekon chuckled. âUse whatever you need. I know you will not beat me.â Cassie smiled up at him "But do understand what you are losing when I win."
Her brows furrowed in confusion. âOkay, not sure what that is, but Iâll be thinking about it I guess.â Cassie was about to go past him, when she realized. âOh, you mean my life!â Sekon seemed at a loss for words. âYeah, for sure, Iâm worried about my life and losing it or whatever.â
Sekon watched her for a bit, as Cassie seemed to be mumbling to herself as she walked off. Sekon watched her for a while longer as she carried on. He couldnât help the amused feeling he got from herâŠ
Cassie groaned to herself as she walked the streets. âWhy the hell am I so stupid? Howâd I not know he was talking about ending my life?â She sighed and tried to move on...
Fun Fact: this whole book takes place in this dimension and I liked making Sekon a lot because of the relationship he has with Cassie. Also, Cassie says his name wrong because of two reasons. 1. because she thinks his name should have been Sarkon, and 2. because I kept forgetting which name I actually picked, so instead of taking it out, I simply added it in the story!

Next character up is
Cassie Ann, the deuteragonist of the story.

She is an energetic young woman who tries her best to make everyone around her happy. Being a 4th Dimensional being just like Larson, she also is curious about her species and essentially forced Larson to let her help him.
She is very headstrong and has a hard time listening to others who aren't making sense. Despite this, Cassie is a sponge and any emotion anyone currently has, she usually feels it as well. This makes her grow empathetic towards even the worst of people. It doesn't cloud her judgement though and she will only help someone if she feels like it.
Cassie is going to be in every other scene I made because she's so friendly, she's involved in almost everything the group does. Cassie is made to be the catalyst for most everything that happens and if not for her, no one would even interact with each other.
P.S. the scenes she's in with the other characters aren't colored because 1. I'm too lazy, but also because I got tired of having to get the right colors every time I drew them. Then in 2023, I learned about color pallets đ¶âđ«ïž
I'm also thinking of this right as I'm about to post this, but she's the Deku to Larson's Bakugou lol.
Anyways, I was going to draw her in these different hair styles, but I decided just to have a mention that Cassie's hair is different throughout the story. She is black and I like to be realistic and not rude when it comes to making black people and their integral hairstyles :) Also this helps so people can relate to her a bit.

As for this form, this is something I haven't written, but clearly got the idea for. In the second book, the beings called Selestials are a species of rock people who are born through the energy of their earth. Because Cassie isn't a human, she's able to endure the process of this birth and ends up in this form!
This was also just "I'm a super big fan of my own work and wanted to see her in this form" so I ended up adding it in the story.

Here's a little scene for her:
Cassie made off as swiftly as possible, wasting no time when she was finally let go. As Cassie was walking around, she made sure the phone was still up and could see everything she was seeing. After her check, she took another look at her surroundings.
Thereâs nothing here! What am I even looking for?
Cassie looked out and could see all the other planets.
It was still a sight to behold. She was amazed at how beautiful the universe was and found herself thinking that they should visit other planets after this. She sighed, but right now weâre on a mission huh?
Cassie decided to keep walking and found nothing on the barren planet, so she picked up a rock and put it inside her bag to take home, but then she heard a noise. She suddenly turned⊠and saw nothing there.
âLars?â She called out.
Nothing was to be heard, but she was sure she heard something. Cassie shook her head and resumed walking when the noise returned.
She didnât turn around this time, but instead reached for the rock she collected. With it gripped in her palm, she waited until hearing the noise again; which she did. Quickly, she turned around and threw the rock as hard as she could in that direction.
The rock shot out just barely missing the one who was now behind her. This person stood with a smile on their face, unphased by the rock that almost hit him. He looked human, so Cassie thought they had to be like them.
Cassie thought this optimistically. âIâm sorry if I almost hit you with that⊠I thought you were my friend.â
âSo that other one is with you?â He asked himself. âThen itâll be easy to make quick work of you two. As long as youâre not together, thisâll be easy.â
His words were strange and they only caused Cassie to sigh when she realized what she may be in for.
Her optimism was squashed as she spoke. âUm⊠are you going to try and kill us?â
He chuckled. âMaybe not, if you decide to work with me and not against me.â
âTo do what?â
âDestroy anyone who feels they can oppose me and make me the ruler of the entire universe!â
Cassie stared at him as he spoke. She sighed and walked over to a larger boulder she saw, she set her bag down and made sure the phone was angled perfectly.
âAre you abandoning your earthly possessions?â Asked the strange male.
âNo, I just donât want my phone to break when I attack you.â
âWhat are you-â
He was cut off when Cassie punched him square in the face. This sudden and intense impact caused him to fall to his knees. Cassie stood behind him and waited for him to lift his head up. She grabbed a fistful of his hair and spoke to him.
âI donât know if you think youâre stronger than meâŠI mean, you might be, but much like I was against Lars, I canât let you do whatever you want.â She stared down at him with a blank look on her face.
Her banter caused him to chuckle. âAnd whyâs that? Because you fear the destruction of this world and everything in it?â
âNo, I just donât want to have to listen to someone whoâs first line was getting rid of someone.â
The male found himself laughing even more now. He reached back to grab Cassieâs arm, he did so and Cassie stared at him with the her expression unchanged.
âThen weâll have to see if youâre strong enough to stop me!â
She sighed to that. âWhy couldnât the first thing we found have been friendly?â
The man laughed and reached to strike CassieâŠ

Not- so-fun fact: this Cassie is pretty much the only one I have built like this. All my other Cassies are shy, anxious, and don't talk. I always love writing her this way, but, the person who review swapped with me said that Cassie had to have some kind of underdeveloped mental state because she frequently acted as a child would... when she's only seventeen. Again, I feel this was only said because she's a female.

Now, it's time to introduce the characters!
First up, is my main main character
Larson "has a last name but doesn't want to share it"

Larson is a young man who regularly hates people. At first he thought these were just his normal feelings, but he finds out it's actually because he's not even a human, so of course he hates humans!
Well, Larson hates everyone but humans have a special place at the top. His high school career has him spending most his time trying to find any information about his real species.
When his work is left stagnant, that's when he meets someone he didn't expect to.

Here's a scene to showcase his wonderful personality
At the moment, they were at lunch ready to discuss their ideas. Cassie was sitting at the lunch table with her plate full of foods that werenât good for anyone, including herself. She wiped her hands clean of the bright orange grease from the pizza she finished and now, she was currently eating a sandwich from her lunch bag.
She munched on this food while Larson told her their best odds.
âI donât know if you can hear me over all that noise youâre making, but if this is screwed up, I wonât think to leave you in a heartbeat.â
Cassie swallowed what she was eating and spoke. âYou must really think Iâm not in this the same way you are. Look, just because Iâm not frowning and getting my big girl pants on doesnât mean Iâm not serious.â
âCould have fooled the hell out of me.â Cassie ignored that and moved her tray over to him. âWhy?â Was all he said.
âIâm offering you some. You donât eat at all, at least whenever I see you, youâre not.â
âBecause we donât get hungry often.â
âI know, but we still have to eat so why not just eat anyways?â
âI eat when I have to. Nothing more.â Larson stated.
Cassie snickered. âYou must eat like a salad and some water huh?â Larson grabbed her wrist right before she was about to eat something causing Cassie to drop it. Her other hand grabbed it before she complained to him. âI must be right if you thought to do that.â
He let her hand go and rested his head in his hand. âYouâre so fucking annoying.â
âThank you!â Cassie returned to eating, but stopped suddenly and looked behind Larson.
He turned his headâcurious by what she was looking atâand he saw a girl smiling at them both.
Larson groaned. âWhat do you want?â He turned back to face Cassie.
Cassie looked at the girl and offered her an apologetic smile.
âUh, well, I wanted to invite you two to a party Iâm throwingâŠâ she trailed, âitâs kind of far from here so if you donât have a ride-â
âWeâre good,â Larson said cutting her off.
âB-but, you can bring each other if you want!â The girl pleaded.
Larson opened his eyes and looked at Cassie. Cassie just kept eating without saying a word. He then sighed and got up facing the girl.
âI know what kind of angle youâre trying to pull here, but Iâm not interested in spilling my seed in some worthless being. Not even her,â he said pointing behind him at Cassie.
âEw.â Cassie mumbled.
The girl's eyes widened. âI-I wasnât asking you to-â
âReally?â The girl pressed her lips together to Larson's comment. âI mean besides the fact that you always stare at me, youâve slept with pretty much half the school. So I must be next on the list, huh?â
The girlâs mouth opened and she just took off to the door of the cafeteria. Larson scoffed and sat back down.
Cassie stared at him for a while and eventually Larson let out a groan. âIâll gouge your eyes out if you keep staring at me like that.â
Cassie clicked her tongue. âSee? Like that.â
âWhat are you talking about now?â He was exhausted.
âYou could have declined her in a more⊠human way.â
Larson watched as Cassie reached for more food. He sighed and spoke while putting his elbow up to rest on the table. âIf I did that, then Iâd be leading her on and I donât have the slightest intention of doing that.â
âYou wouldnât be leading her on if you just said youâre not interested.â
âYes I would. Humans always think thereâs a chance for them to get one in just as long as youâre not taken.â
Cassie just shook her head, âspeaking of which; not that I want that, but why arenât I âworthyâ of your seed?â She then laughed at herself after saying that, Larson just stared at her. âOkay, Iâm sorry, but I still want an answer.â
Larson sighed. âItâs pointless either way. So I told myself Iâd never reproduce.â He simply stated.
âWhy?â
âI just said why!â He grew agitated.
âOkay, maybe itâs pointless, but wouldnât you want to see what a little you would look like?â She spoke happily at the idea.
âYeah, my parents have baby pictures.â
âBoo, youâre no fun.â

Not so fun fact: That friend of mine told me Cassie was annoying and I should change it, someone else did as well and it made me sad (though I never told them that) but then I thought about other characters like this and realized they only thought she was annoying because she was a girl. Prime evidence: Spongebob from season 1-4 was "annoying" but we liked him for that. Also, they didn't find Larson in need for a change despite my intent to make him unbearably mean sooooo idk I think their bias was showing.
Fun fact: Larson gets some scars on his face at the end of the 1st book, so if I ever draw more, he's suppose to have scars, but I forgor sometimes.
I don't think I've shared this with anyone besides a friend I don't really talk to anymore; and while I feel extremely nervous sharing them, I'll think I'll ease that by expressing the fact that I'm not an artist. I have been self teaching myself how to draw for years, so if this looks kind of bad, that's why.
Anyways, I obviously like it enough to share, so I am very proud of my work regardless.
That aside, I wanted to detail this story before sharing everything I did for it (I guess this'll be a short series about everything I drew for it).
A Fourth Dimension Reality is a series of books I'm writing about two inter-dimensional kids trying to find out what dimension they're actually apart of. Along the way, they meet other people who are integral to their goal. Each of these characters will be introduced as I go along.
Now, as for the real world logic, I wrote this story after me and that friend were talking about how some shows that are suppose to be comedy/satire lost that along the way.
So, I was determined to make a story where that stays intact even in the finale. Essentially, this is a long shit post that needs to be stopped, but it's still going well into five books with a unfinished total of 100k and seven books officially planned.
Each book ranges from 23k-30k and no book is any longer... yet
So, anyways, here's the actual cover of the first book (I have two more made).

Later on though I ended up drawing something goofy where all the characters find a dimension that does space tours. That was my excuse as to why they don't have shoes (because you don't want to get the dimension dirty do you?)

But this is everyone and presents their personalities pretty well. I'll showcase them separately over the next few days.
For now, this is perfect showcase of this story:
âSo this means no one can hear me scream!â Cassie used all of her breath in that howl. Larson groaned and went to hit her, but she moved out of the way and spun slowly in the air. âI can dodge you better out here.â She mocked.
With a growl, Larson said, âthis isnât some kind of joke. We need to do what Jax said.â
âYeah, yeah whatever.â She dismissed his comment. âWeâll get there eventually, letâs just have a little fun!â
Larson just stared at Cassie as she continued to spin around happily.
He was brought back to reality when he felt his phone vibrate. âOh, I forgot,â he answered it swiftly, âyou can hear me right?â
Back on Earth, Jax could clearly hear them through the phone. âIâm surprised that it even works! I really didn't think it would.â He said with amazement present in his voice.
âYeah, doubt me, why donât you.â Jax laughed at Larsonâs remark. âBut Iâll try a video call now.â
âAlright.â
Larson was about to press the button when he saw Cassie still spinning around in front of him; he sighed and turned on the video call. Once it came up, he saw a smile grow to Jaxâs face.
âSo it does work, great.â Jax paused. âCassie!â He called out.
âYeah?â She said while turning to look in their direction.
âThe video call works.â Jax announced.
âOkay!â She began to slow her spinning down.
Cassie took out her own phone and called Jax once more. She put it on the video call and stuffed the phone inside of her bag. She zipped it closed and turned to Larson.
âOkay, I can see him, so that means weâre good! Iâm screen recording so you guys can do whatever you have to.â
âYou donât have to tell me that,â Larson said.
Cassie huffed. âStop being so mean. Anyways, we will Jax!â Cassie confirmed.
âGood luck you two!â
With their method of documentation set, they started putting their plan into action. Larson slowly moved over to Cassie.
âStop acting like a kid and letâs get to work.â He snapped at her.
âYouâre so boring. Weâre in space dude! We can breathe without astronaut helmets, why not live a little, Lars?â
âMaybe on our next trip.â Larson went ahead and turned back once he was a small distance away from her.
From his jacket pocket, he pulled out the rope he brought. Needing to be as air resistant as possible, he couldnât carry a bag with him, instead he just already tied the rope around himself and stuffed the other end into his jacket pocket. He pulled out the other end and threw it to Cassie for her to grab. Cassie caught it and was now being pulled by Larson.
Once she was in front of him, Cassie pulled him. Their motions created a way for them to move about in space with the most amount of ease. After a few minutes of their maneuvering, Cassie let out a sigh.
âSee, this is all business,â Cassie said with a pout.
âYeah, yeah. Looking like a bitch doesnât help you.â
âAt least you used the right word, but I wasnât trying to give you puppy dog eyes.â
They remained pulling each other in a still silence. This was maintained until they could finally see Pluto. Cassie giggled as she stared at it.
âOh itâs so cute!â She paused. âDo you really think anyone will be there?â
âI donât know, but if we do find someone it would be better to stick together.â
âI wonder if itâs like a superman thing.â Cassie started to talk about something else. âLike weâre stronger because we were on Earth for so long.â
Larson scoffed. âIf anything, being on earth made us weaker.â
âSee, I donât think like that,â Cassie began, âI really feel like weâre stronger because weâve been exposed to different mindsets and then weâre going to learn this one. So by default, weâll be smarter!â
âAlways on the bright side huh?â
Cassie giggled.
Also, fun fact: I'm so bad at spelling I kept writing Dimension as Dimention and I still don't really know if I'm spelling it rightđ
They kept pulling each other until they were caught into the gravitational pull of Pluto and were able to land...

An random note on perfectionism.
Not that I've seen any recent examples, but I was thinking about this and wanted to share.
In most stories, when characters are perfectionist, it's always written in a way like the end of their world is not finishing a project or work with everything perfectly done so they have to settle for less. But, there's another form I barely see people write about.
Perfectionism can be your inability to finish anything if it's not perfect.
Take me for example.
I've been turned into a perfectionist from several things, but most importantly, from the lack of support on anything I ever did.
Then, when I got older, that turned into me never finishing anything because I assumed it wouldn't work anyways.
Now as a fully grown adult, I will actually not do something if I feel it isn't going to be perfectly the way I want it to. As if having things done perfectly is the guage for people caring about something.
Now, I've become a slacker.
So, next time you write a perfectionist, you can write a slacker perfectionist who will not do any work because they know they can't get it perfect. That is also valid.
đ
Can I just say it is so weird to me that fantasy worlds have normal world shit but with âšmagicâš to make it different?
Like, I've been on this one game recently and supposedly, humans have essentially killed themselves several centuries ago and yet, the new beings still... Hunt for fur and... Use wood to build houses?
Then they have the audacity to say humans went extinct because of their destructive behavior. Excuse me? Didn't you just send me on a quest to chop down 1000 trees so you can build a bed?
Like no offense, but this is so strange to me that our fantasy worlds are so basic and solve no problems at all.
Like where's the worlds where space dust is used as the foundation for houses and the exporting of said dust is illegal unless sourced ethically; or glass is useless and plastic has replaced it because we found a way to make it useable in extreme conditions like glass after the Earth was turned into a giant rubber ball.
Oh, I especially hate the magic used to fix a mundane problem. Come on, why can't the problem just not exist? I'm looking at you self cooking kitchen utensils. I want either food to be conjured by the snap of a finger or for humans to have found a way to never feel hungry.
It's just always "yeah, Humans have been extinct for eons and the universe died and was recreated, but we have no way to stay warm other than hunt animals for pelt."
Some people donât understand and/or recognize the immense amount of strength it takes to pull yourself out of a dark place mentally. So if you did that and defeated depression, anxiety, or self-hate Iâm so proud you.
Ideas I'm never going to make
So, I have a lot of ideas I am never going to write because they're not my style. So, instead of never talking about them, I'll leave them here to maybe give some inspiration to others. Most of these ideas are 1-5 years old with a handful being over ten years old and I would love to see them written, I just have no drive to write them.
Don't know how often I'll do this, but don't worry I get a ton of ideas that never go anywhere, so I'm sure there will be more!
Onto the ideas:
A dystopia where only two people actually exist, like actually. The planet and everything on it is destroyed and by the end, it's revealed the other party caused this to happen so they could be alone with the other survivor (romantic or platonic).
A passionate romance where the two parties are dangerously obsessed with each other. It starts where only one party seems dangerous, but is revealed later on they both are. Knowing this is bad, they decide to embrace those feelings for a short time to hopefully get it out of their system.
Two enemies end up stranded together. The injured party is cautious when the healthy is trying to help them. It's revealed later that their bosses were conspiring together to kill the pair.
A mature magical girl. It's still your normal Sailor Moon, but the MC is an adult with children. Specific to what I outlined, her husband was kidnapped because of his research and she gains magical powers to go and save him.
The origin story of a pirate girl. She starts off apart of a fairly kind crew, but she wants to make a name for herself and leaves only to find a mythical being of some kind and be cursed to travel with them. In my case, it was a grim reaper.
A vampire and a vampire hunter who end up on bad (putting it lightly) terms after the hunter assumes the vampire killed their newborn child. Plot twist for me was it was actually the hunter's father and the vampire had to find a way to prove it.
A detective agency that is the center of mysterious murders. Their agency is accused of killing their detainees as anyone who goes in never comes out. Is the killer one of the detectives or is the killer just trying to frame them? The setting for me ended up where the whole group was trapped in the police department like Resident Evil 2 almost.
This one is about to be ten years old and has more detail than the others. Two kids (in about the Gothic Era) go to a toy maker's shop. This is to pick up a toy before their families embark on a long trip somewhere. The toy maker is a mysterious man, but one of his toys end up cursing the children to age backwards. In this reality, objects hold memories so they're told by the toy maker to find objects that have sentimental value as that will maintain their age until they can rid of the curse.
The tale of a sun deity and moon deity creating the sun and moon cycle. The moon was a shy anxious child and the sun was a bright cheerful child for me.
An unassuming tale of a newly wed prince and princess where the story begins as "normal" until night falls and the prince is unable to stay awake. His princess then undergoes her own form of unconsciousness where her daytime "Princess Peach" version is switched for a warrior "Biscuit Krueger" version. Who is duty bound to protect her sleeping beauty. This transformation is similar to Greed and Ling from FMA:B where there's two souls inhabiting one body.
I actually had way more than I thought, so I'm gonna cap it at ten -_-;
Thanks for reading and here's to hoping one day I can read these ideas in their entirety~ đ
I was apart of a co-writing group before and actually came up with a similar concept since they couldn't really get a plot behind all their ideas. The group turned it down because they didn't like it, so it's nice seeing a prompt for it!
A fantasy world with an industrial revolution, where Gods are hunted like whales were.
Not sure if I shared this already, but this is pretty much just a reblog if I did :p
Anyways, this is actually a drawing I'm not afraid to shared!
It's from a old unfinished dystopia in which Cassie (left) has the ability to shape reality. Curil (right) ends up involved by a means he doesn't fully know or understand.
Neither of the two get why they were chosen after the world essentially ended, but their journey should answer some questions.

Best thing about this is the fact that the lack of color work here. When I was writing this story, it appeared in black and white or monotone for one reason or another.
Random dead wip
A swing and a tap Swing and tap I got sucked in a TV and I went splat When my head came up I saw his face The face that I assumed was doom It was the devil Or at least what I they taught was But he told me something He told me "I know you can help me" And that's my eyes were blinded Indeed, it was too bright. If this was uptopia it didn't feel like it Was I siding with the devil? Or was I exposing the truth? Well, I won't know unless I take his hand. After all, I don't have a soul to lose.
So, this is a random poem(?) that popped in my head about a super old wip of mine. The story is about a young girl in the 40s or 50s who gets sucked into a TV by a cartoon villain (who I just call the Devil) and he insists on getting her help to fix his world. His world is crumbling because the good guys are actually destroying the foundation of their world by ridding the world of every evil imaginable.
Half the story was suppose to take place in the cartoon world and the other half was going to be in the real world with the Devil helping the MC in her world since the exact opposite is happening. They end up agreeing to do evil to stop evil in the real world.
too bad I can't bring myself to write this cool idea
So this is also a character I made the same night I made Jubell.
They're not related, but it's amazing how me being annoyed allows me to create exactly what I was looking for.
So this is Nythan (pronounced exactly like Nathan), and he's a big emo boi!

He's one of characters in a new story I'm making and because I was able to draw this, I'll share a bit abiut him and the story.
This is connected to my worldbuilding post about a really weird planet I made. So, read that if you wanna know a bit more.
As for him, I can't say too much as it'll spoil his role in the story, but he's suppose to be very apprehensive towards everyone. I always love writing characters like this because I get to be an annoying asshole on purpose.
I actually wasn't sure I was gonna be able to draw his hair how I wanted because I'm learning how to draw afro styles and I'm not the best at many of them or any at all. This came out perfect though and I'm extremely happy that I got the look for him I wanted!
Also, I actually based him off of the protag from Persona 3, Makoto(?) (I recently played Persona 5 Royal and pretty much fell in love with his design in the challenge battles).
He's also suppose to be very edgy like Shadow the Hedgehog because I have yet to write a character like that.
Once I have more of the story done, I'll share some more!
đ
Here's something else. Sorry if this is a little confusing, but the creature that I drew before isn't related to this planet at all.
I don't have a name for this because that is the one thing I suck at when it comes to worldbuilding.
But, this is the setting for a new story I'm writing!
I'll probably share more on it with another post I'm making, so look forward to it if you're interested.
But I wanted to detail some things about this planet, so let's begin đ

Basic concepts
So, I wanted to do something that wasn't the typical fantasy Huge Ass Grass Fieldâą so I sat and came up with a really annoying concept that hurt my brain when I first made it.
That was essentially this:
Hell as the Ice world
The Ice World as a hot area
The Jungle as a desert
And lastly the desert as a jungle
From there, I came up with this concept that the planet is split into two halves. Two surface halves and two core halves. Inhabitants of each area have their own unique characteristics and usually don't intermingle. Kind of like states, counties, regions, or provinces. I decided to call them regions for reference.
Students (which aren't kids) of these regions eventually have to expand their horizons and either take up an occupation in their origin region or leave and expand their studies outside their region.
In this case, my MCs are the latter and are leaving their home region to explore the surface.
Characteristics
Since these regions are unnamed, I'll refer to them by their basic comparisons.

The surface
This half is a temperate iceland.
Characterized by it's massive icebergs/icicles. Inhabitants live on the very top of the icicles in order to stay close to the sun.
However, the surface isn't a frozen wasteland like it appears. The surface is actually warmer than the sky, but there's no way to grow anything on the surface as the ground is perpetually frozen. So, the Ice inhabitants remain in the sky instead.
The Core
A Frozen Hellscape
This half is colder than the surface due to the pockets of magma being closer to the surface. These pockets of magma are the core's only source of light. (I just though of this. Since the magma would be between the icicles, the ice would refract the light and in my head that sounds so pretty!)
Having an abundance of almost everything makes this region the most prosperous.
They have everything from food, jewels, gems, precious metals, and other natural resources.

Second Surface
This world's desert.
The tree is so big that it completely covers the entire surface on it's side. Making the ground below it devoid of sunlight.
I compared it to something like a farmer's crop field with no crops and just plowed soil.
However, the tree acts as the inhabitant's only source of food. This tree can grow any and all kinds of fruit, it also protects from natural disasters and is home to the world's largest collections of animals and bugs.
Second Core
This one's my favorite.
A tangle jungle.
Consisting of the roots from the surface tree, the inhabitants live within the roots system. The roots are so huge that buildings can be built on them.
The roots are searching for water that seeps into the ground from the Hell Core above it, but the roots can't go any further as they'll freeze.
Every location does have a kind of relationship and the cores well get along as the surfaces do. There is a bit of discrimination from everyone as most core dwellers think surface dwellers are soft and weak while surface dwellers believe those in the core are brutish and vile.
It's nothing major, just your typical region skirmish.
This is a recent WIP of mine, so I don't have much more to add but that, but I do have a bunch of facts in my head, so, if you wanna ask about something, I'd be more than happy to answer anything!
Other than that, thanks for reading~ đ
I just remembered something I wanted to do.
Essentially, I grew up reading and watching yaoi (and also self-identify as a fujoshi) and it's always been a dream of mine to have a queer show go on for as long as something like Naruto or SpongeBob. You know, just longer than three seasons as is typical with shows that have queer main characters.
So, I'll share some of the stories of mine that either have MCs that are gay, have queer characters, or have a plot related around something LGBT.
Also, I wanna use this as a way to detail special cases in my stories as well.
! I am but a simple ally. So if something I say is wrong or there's a better way to phrase it, please kindly let me know. I truly mean no offense by anything here !
Stories with gay MCs
Tales That Were Told (Not written)
So, this is a story that's pretty much done but I haven't written one bit of it aside from a random scene I had to get out of my head. But, originally, this was just a story where two highschool kids were dealing with highschool shit. A slice of life story with two cuties. Then, it got turned into this new story (Tales That Were Told) that is a sequel to another story I'm still currently writing (Tales That Were Lived). It's hard to summarize, but essentially the main story is an adventure dealing with three characters and a fantasy world where they're all coming to terms with finding themselves and learning to love who they are despite where they may come from. In Tales Told, I intend for this story to have like relationship shit, but the relationship is two men *gasp*. It's not gonna be some weirdly specific thing; no, they're just two kids who have a crush on each other while other shit in the world is going on. Revolutionary concept I know.
Unnamed erotica (unedited, 40k wc with a planned sequel at 10k currently)
it has a name, but I don't really like it :(
I was a little iffy about writing this one at first because I'm the type of person who's extremely tired of queer media just being softcore porn. I just want a good story and the characters happen to be gay. But, I also know it's important to write stories like these as well to show all the different sides and to show people that there's not much different about anyone who happens to be lgbt. In this story, my MC Kit is a famous voice actor (like Johnny Young Bosch) and is a total asshole that everyone is scared shitless of. His soon to be boyfriend is a lovestruck puppy boy childhood friend who is desperate to be with him. He's so sweet it's almost sickening! They deal with normal relationship issues, societal problems, workplace harassment, as well as their own personal issues and some of their issues are even from each other. scandalous. Kit as the MC has a million and one issues within himself (including some from his family), but his loverboy is right there to help him! Also, here's another summary I wrote for this on my website that better explains the origin of the story.

Stories with queer characters
Orange Perfect (unfinished at 21k)
This is had a few mentions of queerness in it. A quick summary: this is a coming-of-age story where three kids (Cassie, Lucius, and Shay) are forced to become friends after all getting targeted by a gang. The MC named Shay is discovering himself. He doesn't know if he's gay, bi, non-binary, gender non-conforming, etc... and is conflicted about his various feelings as he wishes he had a simpler answer for how he feels. Another important character is a trans man (Gabe) who acts as a physical representation of Cassie's own realization of who she wants to be. It's tough for her to live as herself, so Gabe eventually reveals to her that he is a trans man. That his struggles to realize who he really was changed once he accepted himself. As well, he wants her to be different from himself as he's still living partially in the dark since very few people know he's trans.
Any story that has one character named Ren in it (too many to count)
Ren is my MCs twin brother (whenever I want her to have a twin brother) and he is always in a relationship with another character named Mari who I originally made as a trap (I was like twelve). Now a days, Mari is just best described as a twink, but I like his name too much to change it. So that part of the "trap" still exists. Ren is full on gay and screams it from the rooftops as he expresses his interest in men quite often. He's not a flamboyant gay, but he will openly tell people he has no romantic or sexual interest in women and isn't shy to kiss his boyfriend in public. Oh and bonus that women often like him and he has a ton of female friends.
The Entire Fourth Dimension Reality series (total wc of ~100k)
Aside from this story being one long shit post I thoroughly loved making. One of the secondary main characters is suppose to be pansexual. Why this is, is because she only interacts with the other three main characters because she finds them cute (one girl and two guys). Now, she's actually pan for a reason. It's mainly due to her family that made her desire to be loved by everyone around her. This manifested into her just liking anything that would show her affection. (dw Mandy, I love youđ) One of the villains I made to be feminine presenting because he was really pretty in my head when I first developed him. He was going to be genderless, but I decided to make him more feminine and most of that is just with his appearance, but he is defined as a man and acts as so, he just happens to have traditional female attire and mannerisms :)
All The Screams (unedited at 61k)
So, the main point of this story is about Cassie who ends up finding out that she's cursed, but she only does so after going on a mission to escort the prince of her kingdom to his lover. This mission is kept secret and why lies in who this lover is. It's a prince from another Kingdom. Kyo, the prince of Cassie's kingdom, is a little selfish brat who wants what he wants. He fell in love with another kingdom's prince and immediately chose him over his kingdom. With the other prince, his parents are actually gay as well and I made this story around the time I was heavily into yaoi and BL so that may have been an influence as to why tons of characters in this story are gay or why there's major plot points relating to it.
Characters that are iffy/I didn't plan to be queer
The State of Quandary (unfinished with ~60k)/ Before the Reignfall (finished with 45k)
Technically this involves two characters. One of the MCs (Fang) and the MCs friend (Dani) are in the same boat. Originally, Dani was suppose to have a crush on the other MC (Cassie), and that was suppose to explain why Dani even interacts with her in the first place and why they have such a close friendship. However, it felt queerbaity and I felt gross having that as a plot point when it's so obvious Cassie will never even get close to having romantic feelings for Dani. Then, I thought to have Dani be a lesbian because she has trauma with men and dislikes most, if not all, grown men in the world. Fang was the remedy with that as I thought to make them be in a relationship as Fang would be the first guy she ever met who isn't a total loser. However, Fang was originally going to be involved in a love triangle before I realized there's a bit to many conflicts in the story and got rid of it. So, I ended up in a gray area where Fang also doesn't show any interest in women (the result of the love triangle being removed) So, this was my fix. People can either think Fang and Dani are cute together and he manages to break through her trauma, people can think they're both gay and just show no romantic interest in the opposite sex, or their romantic feelings for anyone just isn't important to the story whatsoever. And tbh, I don't mind any one of those options. It's cool when there's different ways to interpret character relationships and it won't lead to fans fighting each other if even I don't really know what it is.
Tales That Were Told (Unfinished at ~90k words)
This villain is a doozy. Their name is Gage and when I first made this character, I pretty much was going to make a woman. However, when I started writing the story, she turned into a he and not even in a way like I intended to change the gender, but even now whenever I write Gage, they're a he. When I think of Gage, they're a she. I don't know what that's about, but even my mental image of Gage is that of both a woman and a man. (If anything, they're comparable to Leo from Tekken). So, to fix this in my head, out loud I refer to Gage as a he. I think of Gage as a she. In the story, the narrator doesn't use any pronoun and characters have conflicting usage as most characters refer to Gage as a he, but there are some who see Gage as a she or simply they/them. Oh, and no, just because Gage might be non-binary, that's not why they're evil. It's not even a plot point in the story. No vilifying personality traits over here lol
Unfinished/unplotted stories with queer plotlines
Unnamed romance (Pink and Brown)
I showcased a snipit of this story (also thanks for everyone who liked it đ), but there's more to it than what I shared. Back when I actually had a friend, I used to tell him about ideas I had, then he would pretty much allow me to figure out what I wanted to do with it. I told him I wanted to make a story with these two girls I made in a picrew because they were so adorable and they ended up as a couple. I couldn't think of a name so they were named Pink and Brown based on their hair colors. I also couldn't think of the official story I wanted them to have. So, I simply came up with two of them. The first story is a slice of life where Brown and Pink are both in college (for IT and Art respectively) and Brown has a huge crush on two girls--one she knows through mutual friends and another being the artists of a webcomic she really loves. (I'm sure this isn't obvious at all). So, one day, Brown gets a call from Pink and she's really stressed out about something. Eventually, she explains she called her since an IT major could help her with someone hacking one of her social media accounts. Brown agrees and when she finds out what the account is, she's shocked to see that Pink is the artist of the webcomic she's been reading for years. I don't even have a damn conflict in this story so it is dead in the water. I'm sure I'll get some idea for it, but knowing me that'll be years from now, unfortunately. Oh, and the snipit I shared is suppose to be the comic Pink is drawing acted as an AU of the original story (if that makes any fucking sense)
Unnamed romance (Idol x non-idol)
This one feels like a fever dream because I don't even remember why I came up with it. Anyways, this is suppose to be a slight extension of the erotica. This is another famous person who ends up falling for an accountant after a random encounter he had with him after a concert. The accountant doesn't want to be involved with this celeb for several reasons, but mainly because he's known to sleep around. The celeb is determined and pretty much forces them to have a relationship by hiring him as his new money manager. He pretty much gets him fired from his old job and... that's all I thought of. It's suppose to end up being really cute as the celeb eventually reveals the kind of person he really is, but what that is, I'm not really sure.
Random Tangent
Now that I'm writing this, it does make me think about an abandoned story I wrote where a failing manager falls in love with a client who essentially saves him from losing his career. The erotica and it's extension are already related, and this other unnamed story (I'll call it The Client for now) had a connection as well. Real quick, all these stories are connected to Orange Perfect through Cassie and other relationships. Without giving away major spoilers (just in case) Cassie ends up as someone very influential in the media world by the end. As a college age girl, she's meeting with the Celeb and the Accountant; and, at some point in her journey, she meets and works with the Manager in The Client. Kit knows a ton of people in the industry and knows the Celeb, the Manager, and Cassie who he has a business relationship with. So, it's easy for me to add Pink. Pink could eventually be offered a contract to a major publication, and cross paths with Cassie through some means. There's even a chance for Kit to voice any character in her webcomic, the celeb to make music for it, and even the manager could help her somehow. Sometimes I get really good ideas for things that just are not possible. I would love to have these five stories apart of a collection in this "reality" I made up for them. Ugh. It sucks to not have this as my actual job. Anyways, I thought it would be kind of cool to have all these stories be related.
That might not be everyone, but I often use queer elements in my story so, who knows, maybe I'll update this in the future with more!
But, thanks for reading if you did~đ
It's confirmed, I can only draw decently when I'm pissed off.
For no reason at all, this is exactly how I wanted to draw this monster and I couldn't draw it for shit until now.
But, if anyone's curious who this is, this is a monster from my story Tales That Were Lived and his name is Jubell.
He's a leaf monster that attacks people who don't play in his pile of leaves. (Maybe I'll have an extra snipit of this guy)
I really like how it came out âș

I literally never win anything I enter so this is this super awesome! Can't wait to see what you come up and looking forward to other stuff you do in the future!
Raffle winner!
Some technicalities: I listed each person who reblogeed in the order they did so, and then removed whoever reblogged but did not throw me a follow which narrowed down a list of 18 participants, wohoo! I decided to go with two winners instead of one too :> @the-missann and @transmandonnie congrats! If you haven't noted whom you want drawn in the tags, I'll reach out. If you have but have changed your mind, let me know asap. Thanks everyone who joined, spread the word and just interacting in general!

Holding your hand: Yuto Edition
Yuto reaches for your hand with hesitanceâeven now that you're togetherâas if he's afraid to let himself touch you... Afraid his cool skin might make you flinch away instinctively. He knows you don't mind, but it's a tough habit to break. You find it cute though, how his pinky finger interlocks with yours in quiet silence, wordlessly seeking your consent. You don't need to look at him to know his gaze is averted, the tips of his ears flushed a soft pink, peaking out from his long white hair. You slip your hand into his, intertwining your fingers with a gentle squeeze. He returns your gesture with a firmer grip, the way you'd hold on to something precious you dare not lose.
Holding your hand: Sol Edition
Sol's hand finds yours with such natural confidence. His palm is rough from constant time spent outdoors, and his lightly calloused thumb runs over the back of your hand unconsciously even as he chatters at you about something irrelevant. He tugs you along like an excited kid, his grip sometimes loosening in his excitement to show you things. Every now and then though, something he sees or says will remind him of youâyou catch the glint of affection in his eyes as he squeezes your hand, a silent gesture of gratitude that you're with him.
Holding your hand: Rye Edition
Rye's fingers intertwine with yours slowly, assuredly. He enjoys this act and display of intimacy: the symbolism of your bond through physical touch. He doesn't hesitate in the slightest... if anything, his slow and deliberate gesture loudly signals his confidence and his love of romantic actions. It's his own way of communicating to you the thrill and happiness that being in love with you has given him⊠the ability to shower affection on his own special someone.

From: Tales That Were Lived
Looking out, Cassie saw Tachi making his way through the dancers and over to where she was. No one else was even in this area so it only made sense to assume he must have been coming over to see her.
Quana was raging inside of Cassie at the bullying her human half faced and this feeling was only met with Cassieâs own emotions as she stared Lia in the face.
âYou better tell him youâre not interested and that someone else wants to talk to him, okay?â
Cassie kept her mouth shut, but once her arm was let go, Lia and her friends quickly walked off away from the area. Cassie didnât even sit back down.
âThe hell is their problem?â
âQuana⊠relax, okay?â
âRelax? How do you expect me to do that?â
Tachi made his way over with a smile on his face.
âBecause weâre leaving.â
His smile slightly faded. âOh, you are? Well, can I at least walk you out?â
âWhy?â She asked.
âJust because I donât feel right leaving you. I tried to find you earlier, but Iâm okay just walking you out.â
Cassie shook her head. âNo, thatâs okay.â
âYou sure?â
âIâm sureâŠâ Her voice trailed, but she remained looking at Tachi.
Cassie felt her heart beating rapidly again. She wasn't upset she was being bullied, she was upset that the entire night people had been giving her attention for reasons she disliked. One for being dressed up and two because of jealousy.
Was she so irrelevant on her ownâŠ? Her only means of respect was on the arm of a boy or in the eyes of suitors. She did have her own strength and Tachi or her clothes werenât the gauge of what she could and couldn't do.
The girls had awakened something deep within Cassie and she felt as if she needed to prove herself now.
So, her mind was made up.
"Cassie? You're really warm." Quana now had a quiver in her voice.
Cassie didn't respond. She took Tachiâs hand and pulled him over to a more crowded area. The small clearing on the dance floor made them more visible to anyone who happened to be looking their way.
"Hey, what are you-"
Cassie wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down. There was only a split second where Tachi couldn't tell what was happening, but the second he felt her lips on his, the rest moved as suited. He was only shocked for a second, as this didnât feel like the Cassie he was so used to. As they kissed, it didnât occur to him that that this was the shy girl who barely made eye contact with him. This felt like any other kiss he had and he was eager for more.
Despite the teachers watching out for this exact thing, theyâalongside the others making outâwere left to do what they wanted. Being vastly different heights, Tachi was leaning down quite a bit to reach Cassie, her own body stretched to ease the difference; but at some point, Tachi pulled Cassie upward a bit, her delicate flats almost lifting off the ground.
Cassie's own hands moved through his hair, making the intentionally messy look he came with more mangled. Tachi's hands were more experienced and brought her body closer to his, but the moment she felt him against her, she pulled away; leaving him wanting more.
This wasnât the dream moment her memories would hold onto, no, this was a testament to her ability to do what she knew she always could. When the realization hit her that she was actually kissing, Tachi she started to move away.
âI'm going home,â she said, her lips barely ghosting his.
Tachiâs eyes opened, breaking the moment, but Cassie slipped out of his grasp before he could stop her.
âHey, wait.â Tachiâs shoulders were grabbed. He was pulled back by a few members of the baseball team.
"Dude, is this your way of saying she's yours?"
"You never do anything like that at school!"
"That shy girl's a freak!"
Despite being clamored, he was able to get out of the group, run out of the room and into the hallway looking for Cassie. Knowing he probably wasn't going to find her, he tried to feel around for Quana and found where they were headed.
With fast steps, he jogged over to the back of the school. He was just able to catch Cassie before she exited through the back entrance.
"Cassie!" He yelled, which made her stop.
Right as he was about to get closer, it was like a wall appeared in front of him and he could no longer move.
Cassie let out a small sigh. "I told you I'm going home, just stay here and have fun."
Tachi couldnât understand why he couldnât move, but it was like his body and mind were fighting against one another and he remained standing there while Cassie continued to walk out of the school...
