A little bit of compassion leads to the first step to friendship

A Little Bit Of Compassion Leads To The First Step To Friendship

Cold as it was in the office space, nothing was colder than the stark gaze aimed directly at the new owner of OrangePerfect Inc. No words were spoken between the owner and the client, but there was a very real weight in the room as time went on.

With a slightly annoyed sigh, the client spoke. “Ms. Ann, are you sure you’re even up to this right now?”

“W-what makes you say that?”

His arms crossed. “Because we’ve been sitting here in dead silence for almost an hour. There’s no way you haven’t come to terms with the contract. Either make adjustments or stop wasting my time.”

His harsh words were nothing new in the entertainment industry, at least as Ms. Ann learned. In her few years dealing with various media giants she learned this was common place. However used to it she was, it was difficult to get her bearings whenever she heard things like this.

Fumbling around with the paper in her hands, she still said nothing.

“Besides, aren’t you the infamous owner who has such particular contracts that most refuse to work with you?”

Ms. Ann remained quiet for a second. “I guess so…”

“Then what is the problem? Is it something you wish to bring up with me?”

Ms. Ann knew what she wanted to say, but actually saying it was an entirely different story. She didn’t want to bring most of this up knowing how it would sound and right now, she wasn’t in the position to argue with anyone.

“Um, I guess I do have a little issue…” She eventually said.

“Wonderful. Now would you mind telling me what it is?”

Ms. Ann, once again, took a long pause. At this point, the client grew even more agitated. He sat up reaching and grabbing the contract out of her hands, forcing her to look at him.

“Listen, if you have an issue, feel free to bring it up. If not, then I'll say it again, stop. wasting. my. time.”

His intense gaze made her freeze up, but she took a small breath and tried to keep herself calm.

“Um, I guess I don’t… particularly like the idea of how long you’d be working with us.”

“Finally.” The client leaned back. “Is the time frame too long?”

“No, actually, it’s the opposite.”

“Excuse me?”

“I don’t… really wanna work with someone I can’t keep an eye on. Maybe if this project was smaller, I wouldn’t mind, but knowing the recording time is likely going to be several months, I don’t want this to be the only time we work together.”

“Oh. So, you’re saying because you know I’m talented you don’t want me just running off somewhere else?”

“P-pretty much.” She got out.

“I understand that much. I have no issue with that, to be honest. I feel the same way that I wouldn’t want your company to turn into a shit hole that drags my name through the mud years after the fact.”

“N-nothing like that would happen.”

“You mean, nothing you all would promote?”

Ms. Ann looked off. “Yes… we would never allow anyone to do something abhorrent and just let it slide.”

“Good to know. Then let me ask you something?” He paused. “If, say for example, someone from my company were to be caught doing something. What would you do?”

Ms. Ann looked at him and found herself in a strange position. Not only did she want to ask him why he was asking this hypothetical question, but she also wanted to know what exactly he was mentioning. She stared at him and found his eyes never losing their lock on her.

“Well, without knowing what you’re talking about, I wouldn’t drop you. Unless, it was you specifically, I’m not going to assume you knew anything about it.”

He then smiled. “I was hoping you’d be a little more scrutinizing.”

She took a small breath. “I wanted to ask what this hypothetical situation would even be about.”

“Given the work we do, take a wild guess.”

All the news pertaining to media companies, movie directors, and other obscenities, Cassie made an assumption and gave him and knowing look.

“Is this particular issue with someone you can easily report?”

“No. In fact, I’m sure what you’re thinking is the exact person I’m talking about.”

Cassie didn’t like the sound of that, but she understood how serious this must be if he couldn’t even fully mention it to her. She shifted in her seat and finally looked at the client with a less stressed look.

“Kit? I promise you, if we work together, I’ll never allow for something like that to go unchecked. I won’t throw you or anyone else affected under the bus either.”

Kit didn’t seem fully impressed by her words, evidenced by the dazed look he gave her. “Am I too assume your words are enough?”

“Most likely not. How would I prove it to you?”

Kit remained quiet for the longest time since they begun talking. He spoke up after a moment. “Maybe I’ll believe you if you stop acting so damn scared by everything.”

“What?”

“We both know it’s true. You’re frightened at the idea of making any mistake so you try and fix problems before they’ve even happened. When all it makes you look like is a scared little girl.”

Cassie tried to keep her resolve. “I am fairly new at this, I would imagine anyone in my position would be a bit on the cautious side.”

“Well, that’s the thing; you’re not cautious. You’re fearful. That’s why I can’t fully believe in your words that if something were to come out I would rely on you to hold up your end. Not fold to any stack of cash or the will of a man’s finger.”

“You should talk to my boyfriend- sorry, husband then. I don’t think he would agree with you.”

“Is that so? Well, maybe I could better understand what you’re talking about if you explained why you’re hiding the fact that you’re pregnant.”

Cassie froze at his words and saw the smirk on his face grow. Trying not to move, she remained in her chair exactly how she was as to not give him any better of a view of her body.

“W-why are you saying that?”

“Come on, most of my close friends are women, you think I can’t tell when a woman’s pregnant?”

“M-maybe, but why would that have anything to do with this?”

“Because if you’re hiding something so normal as a pregnancy, what would be the case if something more serious were to happen?”

Cassie dropped her head understanding what he meant by that. Slowly, her hand came to her stomach and rubbed the small bump hidden underneath the large jacket she wore.

“I get why you feel that way, but imagine being in my position. Everyone coming at you with all the normal nonsense of the day and then I have to deal with having a baby?" She sighed. "I should take some time off but…”

“I bet you don’t trust anyone else with your job.”

With a downcast gaze, she nodded. “Not only that, but I didn’t think I’d be so stressed out. I got in my head somehow and now I’m worried about this baby and… even my own life.”

“As wealthy as you are, you can’t hide some more doctors to put you at ease?”

“You don’t know me that well. There’s not a single thing anyone else could tell me, I have to come to terms on my own before I start feeling better.”

“Humph, I guess that makes sense.”

“But you know what, I never thought about what you just said.”

“Hm?”

“If I’m so worried about everything that I end up even hiding something like this, then what would I do is something that’s an actual issue were to pop up?”

She was more speaking to herself in this moment, but Kit responded. “That’s what I would like to know. If you know me at all, you’d know I don’t like working with spineless individuals.”

Her eyes narrowed. “But you’re okay working with some loser who, hypothetically, is committing an actual crime?”

Kit grunted. “Hypothetically, I don’t have much choice here. Until I can effectively prove what’s going on is a punishable offense, I can’t just kick him in a grave myself.”

A small smile came to her face. “I get what you’re saying. If you swing and miss it’ll only worsen the situation.”

“Exactly. At least you’re smart enough to understand that.”

“That’s not exactly a complicated thing. You do know I happen to be trying to get into the true crime world. Romance is great and all, but I want to branch off into the world of crime dramas.”

“Humorously, that seems to suit you quite well.”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean that I’ve heard people say you think of every little possible thing when agreeing to a contract. You seem not to like anything that doesn’t fall in line with your mindset perfectly.”

“I’ve actually heard that before. Me and my husband think it’s because thinking of everything that could possibly happen eases me. Like I know every outcome and can plan accordingly.”

“Then maybe that’s the answer.”

“To the hypothetical?” Her head shook. “If I did that, there are several ways this could turn out, especially if you’re somehow involved at any point.”

“Of course, but I don’t mean that. I mean for me to believe you. Maybe if you prove you’re unlearning that scared personality of yours, I’ll feel your words are much more truthful.”

Cassie took a small breath. “With everything you’ve said, I feel like my best bet would be to act how I want to. That includes getting this little secret off my chest…” She laughed a bit. “More like out of my belly.”

Kit rolled his eyes. “Is that really funny?”

“Of course not, but it made me giggle a little.” Cassie continued to look at her stomach and gave it some gentle rubs. “You know, if that what it takes then I think I can relax a bit.” She looked at Kit with a newfound vigor in her words. “How do reoccurring roles sound?”

“What?” Seemingly lost for a second, Kit responded with confusion.

“Well, I don’t like the idea of you participating in just one role. I’d want you back here as much as possible!”

“For what reason exactly?”

“Because, as a kid, I remember absolutely loving your character roles. It was a little bit of a dream of mine to work with someone I enjoyed listening to as a kid.”

“You do know the kinds of roles I had as a kid were… much more mature than I should have been in right?”

“Yes, I’m very aware of that. Here’s a little fun fact about me: I used to watch M and R rated stuff when I was just eight years old!”

Kit shook his head. “No wonder your ideas are so crazy, you must have something wrong with you.”

Cassie smiled. “You know, most likely.” She exhaled. “Wow, that feels really nice to let someone know.”

“How?”

“Because it’s hard keeping things like that bottled up. I’d love to tell people that the stuff I watched as a kid really screwed my brain up. I learned about things kids just shouldn’t have and now that I’m much older, I understand how that’s shaped even the world’s I create on paper.”

“You’re not all bad all things considered.”

“Trust me, I know, I know I could have been a lot worse than I am now.” She paused. “Speaking of which, maybe I should really give in and embrace that. I should try and reclaim the bit I lost as a kid now.”

“And how would you expect to do that?”

“With this office, of course. It’s so drab and business-like. I wanna create something little kid me would have loved to work in!”

Kit listened as she went on about what she was going to do. “Honestly, the day I see that is the day I’ll know you’re really being truthful with your words.”

“Really? Then I guess it’s settled. Leigh isn’t gonna be happy at the renovation cost though.”

“That doesn’t matter to me, all that does is you don’t go back on your word.” Kit then got up. “If so, then it’ll be a pleasure every time I’m asked to return here.”

“Oh, we didn’t agree to anything though!”

“I know, I’ll be back the next time you’re free and by then you should be staring those renovations right?”

Cassie smiled and gave an eager nod. “By then, you won’t be the only one who knows about my little secret.”

Kit, amused by her words, said nothing as he made his way out of the office.

“Oh, you must think he’s gonna be good too because you’re craving the good stuff!” Cassie reached for her phone and eagerly dialed her husband’s number to give him the good news and to get her and her baby fed.

Courage from Love

Courage From Love

The night seemed as if it would stay uneventful, but right as it hit midnight, Cassie's phone went off. Knowing the only person who'd be calling her, she went and answered it with an eager smile on her face.

"Hey, what's up Haku?"

"I honestly wish it was nothing." His voice was irate, not very much so, but it was noticeable to Cassie who was more than used to his soft spoken tone.

"What's up? You sound upset."

"Sorry if I do. It's just so stupid. No one wanted to go back to the dorms to get this… thing they bought—I think it's some kind of drink—so I eventually offered to go get it for them."

Cassie sighed slightly. "Sometimes you're too nice for your own good."

"Tell me about it." He sighed. "I just thought to call you for some company."

Cassie smiled and sat up in her bed as she listened to Kohaku talk. As she did so, a resolution to this dilemma occured to her.

"Hey, maybe… I could just get it for you instead."

"Really? You don't mind?"

"No, I'm cool doing it for you."

He let out a relieved sigh. "Honestly, it'd mean a lot if you could."

Cassie then got up. "Where is it?"

"It's one door from my dorm. I'll just meet you halfway, so tell me when you get to my dorm."

"Alright, let me get changed real quick."

Cassie got up and went to her closet, however, it dawned on her that she'd be going outside on one of the busiest days on campus. Everyone was having parties, going out, or hanging out and she'd have to go past them all.

Worried about appearing strange amongst all the night owls dressed up, she decided to dress as she would during the day and found a decent enough outfit to go out in.

She picked up her phone and headed for her door.

"Oh, by the way, I think what they want is pretty heavy, so take your backpack."

"How'd they forget something like that?"

"I could take a guess."

Cassie giggled at Kohaku's more than annoyed voice, but she went for her spare backpack, the one she took on exam days when she didn't need to carry around five notebooks. It was styled like a bear, so she held it in her arms while leaving her room.

It didn't take Cassie very long to get to Kohaku's dorm.

"Okay, I'm here."

"Alright, they said the door should still be open, it's two doors from my dorm." Cassie followed his direction and went to open the door. It was unlocked, but unfortunately for her, a group of students were inside.

Cassie froze for a second and someone looked back seeing her.

"What are you doing here?"

"Did someone invite her?"

Cassie tried to speak, but nothing came out. A few in the room snickered at the frozen appearance of the girl before them.

Someone then said, "come on, what are you here for?"

Their impatience wasn't lost on Cassie and she just gave a small shrug.

"I'm getting something for a friend."

"Cassie?" Kohaku's voice on the phone snapped her attention back. "It should be on the floor near the bed."

Cassie looked there and found what Kohaku was referring to, she quickly went over and retrieved the bottle. She said nothing else and scurried out of the room. Some annoyed sighs followed her closing the door and Cassie just hurried out as quickly as she could.

"I got it…"

"Was someone in there?" He asked.

"Uh, yeah, I guess some people were having a party." Cassie left the male dorms. "But, where are you?"

"By the courtyard."

"Okay…"

Cassie couldn't help but think about the partygoers in the room. She hoped they would just ignore her, but a part of her couldn't help and think that they were laughing at her, getting enjoyment out of the encounter after she left.

Her walk down the sidewalk slowed and her very invasive thoughts came to the surface, making her gaze drop further and her mind run miles around the last few minutes. Every which way that could have happened went through her head and she almost wanted to revert time to do it again.

Cassie made it to the courtyard and found Kohaku waving her down.

He jogged over to her and while he had a smile on his face, it faded when he saw Cassie.

"Hey… what's wrong?"

She looked at him. "Nothing, it's just something stupid."

He pursed his lips. "Cassie, you're tearing up." He reached and grabbed a hold of her face in his palms.

They were cold against her skin, but his gentle touch was enough to mitigate that. Cassie's frown only got deeper and eventually she spoke.

"They just… I just think I bothered them. I'm sorry for making you worry over something like that."

Kohaku took a sharp breath. He gave Cassie a bitter smile and pulled her in for a hug.

"You're so cute… Cassie, you're making me wanna just stay with you for the night."

Cassie shrunk in his hug, but nuzzled against him as she always did. "No, you should go and have fun."

He pulled back and locked eyes with her. "No seriously, stay right here." He took the bottle from her bag and jogged off.

Cassie watched him drop the bottle off to someone. He spoke for a second and immediately turned back to Cassie where he rejoined her. Kohaku reached for her hand and turned them back in the direction of the dorms.

"Kohaku, no seriously, go and hang out with your friends."

"Does it seem like I was even enjoying that?"

She pouted. "No, but-"

"So don't worry about it. I'd rather help you not think about those jerks anyways."

Kohaku's hand was cold, but feeling it against her palm made her warm up, slowly that warmth crept to her face and her mouth turned up in a smile.

"Some day, your friends are gonna hate me because you always dip on them for me."

He chuckled. "No one would hate such a cute girl. Really, why'd you dress like that just to go out for a second?"

They stopped and looked at one another. "I'm… cute?"

Kohaku's face grew red as she looked up at him. He scratched behind his head and started to walk again.

"Well, I just think you could have dressed in any kind of way, really."

Cassie smiled at his embarrassment and happily walked beside him; knowing even if she was nervous and anxious, it didn't matter once they were together.

I love building character relationships and the impersonal ties between different species, races, and other characters in my stories.

I really like to explore all the different ways people can relate (or not relate) to one another.

What do you love most about your story's world building?

Snippet Saturday

from Kingdom of Bumalia

"...you and I share a different relationship. You have given me a job that… I want to fulfill as best as I can; however, that entails working closely with you and being sure anything you do doesn’t affect what I have to do.” She paused. “Think of it this way, it’s true people my age don’t view you as a major authority, we see you as someone we can relate to and with that comes a level of dismissal.”

Leigh looked off. “So my words will never hold against you? That seems to be true for everyone around me; if not this, then it’s my age and if not my age, it’s my standing.”

Cassie’s shoulders slumped. “I don’t want to be rude, but can I say something?”

“Go ahead.”

“You keep up such a bright smile, but have feelings like this. I think it’s completely fine that you’re sometimes upset or hurt by the words of others. I feel you should embrace those feelings and grow from them, because that hurt you’re feeling is a part of who you are.”

He looked back at her. “What do you mean?”

“I’ve heard tales of you being bested in battle or screamed at for an inability to work and yet in those moments your smile never wavered. This shows those problems don’t phase you, but these do. Working to remedy these problems should be at the forefront. Above all else, you should think, how am I going to make myself feel better?”

Leigh’s eyes watched her face intently, so much so that Cassie had to avoid his gaze. She reached to adjust her book below her and when she looked back up Leigh was sitting upright again.

“How do you have such wise words?”

“Because I have lived my life instilled with fear from an early age. My nature dictates I am very fearful of anything that comes my way and instead of allowing it to control me, I found a way to cope with it. Writing, reading, drawing and painting; anything expressive has helped me to mitigate my feelings and develop a fondness for what I do now.”

Leigh then looked to the top of her head. “I always forget what you are because you hide your bunny ears. However, maybe that bias should be avoided and I should learn this look of yours.”

I tried to ignore my urge but... Fuck it, I saw this and my writer brain was like

I Tried To Ignore My Urge But... Fuck It, I Saw This And My Writer Brain Was Like

So, here it is...

Peaking out from the foliage, the young boy saw what he knew as a predator. His perception of the world that was shaped entire by the tales of his parents led him to assume the midnight feathered man was someone to fear, yet his stomach told him something else.

Yes, his stomach let out sounds of hunger and that pervaded his mind more than any perception of the man before him. The sounds must have been loud as the crow looked up and just managed to catch the mouse trying to hide himself.

Now worried, the mouse hoped he wasn't seen. He thought to move and escape from his range, but he didn't know if that was smart. He wasn't as skilled as his parents in escaping death, so he instead remained hoping that their gaze meeting was just a coincidence.

That's when the boy looked out again and saw the crow crouched near where he hid. The food he was eating was in his hand and the sent of whatever it was found its way to his nose.

The crow had left food for him.

This was something he didn't understand. Weren't birds vicious predators that attacked and even killed their kind?

It seemed even his thoughts could be heard, because the second he thought that, the crow spoke up.

"You can eat that, it's not a trap. I have no need to eat creatures of your kind."

The mouse was still frozen in fear, so the crow went on.

"We don't usually eat your kind you know? That is saved for those barbaric hawks or those listless vultures."

That did line up with what he knew and it was only then the mouse realized he wasn't anything his family had even spoken poorly of. In fact, he hadn't heard anything bad about the collected bird before him. Was this because crows were actually kind?

That didn't line up with what he understood about other birds but...

Once again, his stomach growled.

Unwilling to think more on it, he reached his tiny hand out and dropped to retrieve the food. He looked back at the crow finding him enjoying his own lunch without a concern in the world for him.

The mouse stared for a bit and the crow smiled. As much as he wanted to thank him, he didn't know if he should. So, he instead took the food and ran off leaving the crow in amusement.

So, I had these sitting in my gallery and decided to share what they were related to :D

Here's the link to the original Picrew and the artist who made it.

So, this is related to my story titled Kingdom of Bumalia (if you wanna know more check this out!) where all of the inhabitants are kind of anthropomorphic.

The main groups are Birds, Insects, sea mammals and land mammals.

Birds are only royals so they don't have "common" forms. There's only three living birds in my story anyways and they're all related to the royal family.

Next are insects. There're more of them, but it's still common for there to only be royals. In this case, there's only one main insect and that's the cousin of the next-in-line (1st pic).

So, I Had These Sitting In My Gallery And Decided To Share What They Were Related To :D

So, I Had These Sitting In My Gallery And Decided To Share What They Were Related To :D

Common traits: Narrow green eyes, wings, [which the picrew didn't have :( ], dark hair, and royals.

Next is Aquatics and they're common folk along with everyone else below this point.

Usually aquatics are gentle and carefree with the traits that all their hair is blonde and their eyea blue due to being underwater most the time.

They can exist on land, but they usually don't have normal legs looking like these mfs for the most part.

So, I Had These Sitting In My Gallery And Decided To Share What They Were Related To :D

These were some of the common folk I made.

So, I Had These Sitting In My Gallery And Decided To Share What They Were Related To :D

Common traits: curly, bleached blonde hair and blue eyes. They usually have dry skin from being on the surface for too long.

For land mammals, these are pretty much the low class citizens who work coin bag to coin bag.

There's a lot of land mammals in the story, but with the options I had, I couldn't make them exactly to my liking. So, I made these guys who came out perfectly!

So, I Had These Sitting In My Gallery And Decided To Share What They Were Related To :D
So, I Had These Sitting In My Gallery And Decided To Share What They Were Related To :D

Common traits: having nothing in common. Most land mammals look different from species to species. Unlike every other species where everything is uniform.

Snippet Saturday [2]

From: The Moon, Wolf, and Rabbit

It didn’t seem as if time was even moving inside of the Tsumi’s study, Cassie—after finding nothing of note in the room—asked him something.

“How long have we been in here?”

“Probably a few hours by now. I’m sure it’s nighttime.”

Cassie sighed. “Then I guess I need to head home. I don’t want my parents worrying something happened.” Cassie paused. “Speaking of that, what about you? Didn’t you have work today?”

“I did, but I actually quit.”

“What? Why?”

“Would you really want some deity checking out a book for you?”

“I would assume I wouldn’t know.”

Tsumi chuckled. “I’m kidding. I really quit because there’s no need for me to work a job anymore.”

“What about food or money? How are you gonna do anything anymore?”

He smiled. “I know you have to get home, but mind if I show you one last thing?”

She shrugged. “I guess, what is it?”

“The answer to your question.”

He took her hand and even though Cassie wasn’t sure why he kept doing that, she made no effort to tell him to stop. She was guided to the strange door she noticed when they arrived. Thinking it was decorative, she ignored it; but Tsumi brought her to the door and opened it.

If Cassie could explain what she expected to see, it wouldn’t have been anything like the sight before her. Not even in the shows she indulged herself in had a location quite like this one. It was an ambient room with soft lighting from a moon lamp hanging from the ceiling. The roof of the large room had other astrological figures; the one she recognized was the Libra symbol.

As they went further into the room, what appeared to be star dust filtered through the air. In the large room there was a couch with a big table right in front of it, along with a few items scattered on the table the room appeared immensely cozy. Above them was a short staircase that seemed to lead to a nook Cassie couldn’t see all the way inside.

Her amazement got the better of her and she once more took in the room, losing herself in its appearance. Tsumi watched her like he did before finding her interest entertaining to watch.

“This place is apparently where I lived at one point. I believe you and the mysterious boy we have yet to meet may also have something like this.”

Cassie scoffed. “Like a family home or something?” She mumbled to herself. “I can’t believe that. Why wouldn’t my family know about it?”

“Like I said, we’re not actually blood related to our past selves. As far as I found, my past self didn’t have children.”

“Then maybe someone in my past did. It just doesn’t make much sense that we’re related to our past selves, but we’re actually them. Almost like some kind of broken reincarnation.”

“Or a rewrite?”

She looked at Tsumi’s, taking in his point. “Yeah, that is the only way this would make sense.”

“If that is the case, then it makes sense why my past self felt I was different. That things would turn out differently.”

Cassie crossed her arms. “I still can’t get over this. It’ll never make much sense that any of this is real.” Cassie looked around. “But I guess it is.”

Tsumi chuckled at her and stepped closer to her. “You know how I like to view it? I like to say this was inevitable, but we were blissfully unaware of it. However, the world knew we had something to do with one another and stuck us together somehow.”

“Sounds like some kind of video game.”

“I know. Hard to believe that stuff could be based in some kind of reality.” Tsumi promptly moved on. “But, I’ll take you home now.”

“Oh, if you quit your job, did you move out of your place?”

“Yes, I did. Again, I had no need for it. Especially when I have this place.”

Cassie looked off. “Then how are we supposed to meet?”

He looked at her and grew a look of fondness. “Don’t worry about that. I can find you anywhere you are in the world and if you ever want to find me, it’s as simple as just calling me.”

They stared at each other, and Cassie still couldn’t adjust to the way Tsumi was now. His behavior was something vastly off from his normal and while she wouldn’t say she hated it; she didn’t really know how to respond to this version of himself. She wanted to say something, but she kept it to herself—like always—and instead just nodded to him.

“Alright, that’s simple enough.”

“Right, then let’s get you home.”

On characters...

So, I love writing characters and also love giving advice to people who want to have more interesting characters in their stories.

I happened to remember something about a character I'm currently writing for and wanted to share it.

So, I sometimes write "test stories" for characters to test their personalities, roles in the story, appearance, and even their conflicts. I totally forgot I did this with one character where I pretty much wrote a fanfiction for him before using him in the main story he's in now.

What that did was allow me to pick how I wanted him to be and solidify that before putting him in the main story. Essentially, that story is the exact same and his role is the same also; but writing the fanfiction allowed me to explore parts of him I'd never do in the actual story.

So, if you're ever struggling on making a character in any sense, try this!

Many of my stories are just this...

Ghosts?

“It happened again…” The figment said as he watched the girl lie on her bed repeating the same words over and over to herself, she was holding herself while rocking and spoke:

"I know… I know… I know it’ll be alright… it’ll go back to normal.” She nearly chanted that as she held back tears, her voice was shaking and he knew she’d soon fall asleep. Her problems wouldn’t be fixed however, he knew they wouldn’t after the years and years of the same thing happening. The girl then took a deep breath and sat up locking eyes with the figment. It was time to go. He would leave her for now, but would come back when this happened again.

His ghostly figure left the house and flew to the abandoned apartment where all ghosts in this area remained. Getting inside, there was a man.

“You’re back.” He simply said.

“Yeah, I figured I wasn’t going to be long.”

“So were you right?” Reluctantly, he nodded. “Lucas, perhaps we should consider taking her life now.”

“I told you I didn’t want to do that.”

“But you’re not supposed to be dead, and it seems as if she either will be or should be.”

“You don’t know half of the situation with her…” Lucas paused, “She’s always trying to stay strong, even now she was telling herself things would go back to normal. That’s how hard she’s fighting.” The man stared at him, “So if invalidate her hard work then we should stay dead.”

“It seems you’re growing attached to her, Lucas.”

“You know, Spencer, maybe I am. I don’t have an issue with staying dead if it means I get to remain with her.”

“But even if you say she should be dead.” “I know what I said before, but… I don’t want to see it all end like this. She deserves to be happy and it’s not my place to just sit here and take that from her.” Lucas then left the lobby and went to his apartment room. Going through the door and getting to the bed, he went to the window staring in the direction of her home. He hoped she’d be alright until the morning. Things like this never got easier, neither for him nor the person handling it.

So, this is a dead story I wanna write, but don't know what else to do with it.

The door at the stage opened and out came the princess. Everyone in the room was captured by her beauty, none said anything as she walked out.

Her hair, done up in long twists, fell effortlessly behind her. Her skin glowed in the dim light that surrounded the stage. She stood at the center and it almost seemed as if Brown’s eyes met her, but she knew that couldn’t have been the case. The princess removed her veil and her features popped even more as her face remained relaxed.

Then, the music began.

Everyone watched as her arm went up and the cloth there moved with her. Her eyes closed and she began to move with the music, the cloth chased behind her creating a sight none of them could ever forget.

Brown watched everything that moved, her hair, the cloth, but most importantly, she focused on her face. Seeing how relaxed she looked and how effortlessly the movements were caused Brown’s heart to swell. The others in the room began to disappear as all she could see was her… The princess.

The routine went on and everyone watched as the princess performed the moves with a smoothness akin to a waterfall. They all knew when it was going to be over as the music climaxed suddenly stopped, as did she. Everyone waited while the princess remained standing there, once she caught her breath and stood up and addressed everyone.

“I welcome you all, servants of the kingdom and residents in my home, to a new generation of prosperity!”

Everyone clapped and cheered at her words and the princess finally let out a smile. Brown couldn’t help but feel her face grow red and she began to move closer to the door where the princess was to leave. The noise in the room was loud, but Brown was too focused to let it distract her.

The princess left the stage and was being escorted out when Brown kneeled in front of her, seeing this, the princess stopped and looked at her.

Her guard put himself between them.

“Princess, we must leave,” he said.

“I know,” she said to her right hand, “but what is this Sage warrior doing?” Brown looked up once she said that.

“I can’t request a private moment with you, but I don’t need it.” Brown’s face lit up as she spoke. “I wanted to personally ask you to anoint me as your other right hand.”

Everyone in the room stopped their excitement and watched the scene play out.

“How brazen!” Her right hand spoke. “What makes you think you’re good enough to protect her?”

“I’ll do anything to prove it… if it means I get to fight for her side, then I'll freeze Hell!” The princess watched this and then she began to step forward.

“Princess…” The right hand let her walk, Brown then stood up to meet the Princess at eye level.

“You’ve already declared your life for the kingdom, you wish to pledge whatever is left to me?”

Brown nodded. “I’ve never wanted anything but to be sure you live as the most righteous princess and soon to be queen! It would be more than an honor to see that.”

The princess stared at her, and the silence overtook the room as everyone anticipated her response to Brown’s declaration...

Yes, this is a "history will say they were good friends" type of story

This is how crazy I sound before an idea is finalized...

[[sosososososososos, I finally remembered that idea I had. It’s supposed to be the opposite of a typical kdrama. How do they always have the popular girl being a bitch and the “ugly” regular girl as the MC who winds up getting the better guy? Well fuck that, we’re gonna write the “regular” girl with the guy (whoever that is) and they have a lot in common (maybe they’re into some show or something and that’s how they get to talking), so he’s crushing on her and she’s crushing on him. The popular/pretty girl has been this guy’s friend since they were kids and they’re “supposed” to end up together, but instead of these girls being at each other’s throats, they instead form a friendship waiting for this guy to get his head out of his ass and pick one of them.

Like ex. (MC sat on her bed re-reading the assignment that was due in less than two hours.

“Man, I should have really worked on this sooner.” She groaned as she clicked through the pages trying to find the answers somehow, as she worked, there was a knock at her dorm door.

“Ugh, come in,” she said and the door opened.

“MC!” She looked up, recognizing SP’s voice. “You and LI went to the dock?”

MC looked up seeing the post of her and LI. “He seriously posted that?”

“No, someone caught you two and sent it to me as “blackmail” against you. I ghosted them for a while, but then they posted it anyways.”

MC sighed. “These people are more interested in this relationships than I am.”

SP giggled and sat down on the bed. “Tell me about it… but seriously, was it fun? Is he a big romantic?”

“Kind of, I think he was nervous though.”

“Aw, how cute! Think he’ll take me there one day?”

“I doubt it, he thinks you’re more of a restaurant date type.” SP scoffed.

“He would.” SP rolled her eyes, but moved on…

This is how most my ideas sound when I first make them

Snippit Saturday [3]

From: Tales That Were Lived

Looking out, Cassie saw Tachi making his way through the dancers and over to where she was. No one else was even in this area so it only made sense to assume he must have been coming over to see her.

Quana was raging inside of Cassie at the bullying her human half faced and this feeling was only met with Cassie’s own emotions as she stared Lia in the face.

“You better tell him you’re not interested and that someone else wants to talk to him, okay?”

Cassie kept her mouth shut, but once her arm was let go, Lia and her friends quickly walked off away from the area. Cassie didn’t even sit back down.

“The hell is their problem?”

“Quana… relax, okay?”

“Relax? How do you expect me to do that?”

Tachi made his way over with a smile on his face.

“Because we’re leaving.”

His smile slightly faded. “Oh, you are? Well, can I at least walk you out?”

“Why?” She asked.

“Just because I don’t feel right leaving you. I tried to find you earlier, but I’m okay just walking you out.”

Cassie shook her head. “No, that’s okay.”

“You sure?”

“I’m sure…” Her voice trailed, but she remained looking at Tachi.

Cassie felt her heart beating rapidly again. She wasn't upset she was being bullied, she was upset that the entire night people had been giving her attention for reasons she disliked. One for being dressed up and two because of jealousy.

Was she so irrelevant on her own…? Her only means of respect was on the arm of a boy or in the eyes of suitors. She did have her own strength and Tachi or her clothes weren’t the gauge of what she could and couldn't do.

The girls had awakened something deep within Cassie and she felt as if she needed to prove herself now.

So, her mind was made up.

"Cassie? You're really warm." Quana now had a quiver in her voice.

Cassie didn't respond. She took Tachi’s hand and pulled him over to a more crowded area. The small clearing on the dance floor made them more visible to anyone who happened to be looking their way.

"Hey, what are you-"

Cassie wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down. There was only a split second where Tachi couldn't tell what was happening, but the second he felt her lips on his, the rest moved as suited. He was only shocked for a second, as this didn’t feel like the Cassie he was so used to. As they kissed, it didn’t occur to him that that this was the shy girl who barely made eye contact with him. This felt like any other kiss he had and he was eager for more.

Despite the teachers watching out for this exact thing, they—alongside the others making out—were left to do what they wanted. Being vastly different heights, Tachi was leaning down quite a bit to reach Cassie, her own body stretched to ease the difference; but at some point, Tachi pulled Cassie upward a bit, her delicate flats almost lifting off the ground.

Cassie's own hands moved through his hair, making the intentionally messy look he came with more mangled. Tachi's hands were more experienced and brought her body closer to his, but the moment she felt him against her, she pulled away; leaving him wanting more.

This wasn’t the dream moment her memories would hold onto, no, this was a testament to her ability to do what she knew she always could. When the realization hit her that she was actually kissing, Tachi she started to move away.

“I'm going home,” she said, her lips barely ghosting his.

Tachi’s eyes opened, breaking the moment, but Cassie slipped out of his grasp before he could stop her.

“Hey, wait.” Tachi’s shoulders were grabbed. He was pulled back by a few members of the baseball team.

"Dude, is this your way of saying she's yours?"

"You never do anything like that at school!"

"That shy girl's a freak!"

Despite being clamored, he was able to get out of the group, run out of the room and into the hallway looking for Cassie. Knowing he probably wasn't going to find her, he tried to feel around for Quana and found where they were headed.

With fast steps, he jogged over to the back of the school. He was just able to catch Cassie before she exited through the back entrance.

"Cassie!" He yelled, which made her stop.

Right as he was about to get closer, it was like a wall appeared in front of him and he could no longer move.

Cassie let out a small sigh. "I told you I'm going home, just stay here and have fun."

Tachi couldn’t understand why he couldn’t move, but it was like his body and mind were fighting against one another and he remained standing there while Cassie continued to walk out of the school...

I just remembered something I wanted to do.

Essentially, I grew up reading and watching yaoi (and also self-identify as a fujoshi) and it's always been a dream of mine to have a queer show go on for as long as something like Naruto or SpongeBob. You know, just longer than three seasons as is typical with shows that have queer main characters.

So, I'll share some of the stories of mine that either have MCs that are gay, have queer characters, or have a plot related around something LGBT.

Also, I wanna use this as a way to detail special cases in my stories as well.

! I am but a simple ally. So if something I say is wrong or there's a better way to phrase it, please kindly let me know. I truly mean no offense by anything here !

Stories with gay MCs

Tales That Were Told (Not written)

So, this is a story that's pretty much done but I haven't written one bit of it aside from a random scene I had to get out of my head. But, originally, this was just a story where two highschool kids were dealing with highschool shit. A slice of life story with two cuties. Then, it got turned into this new story (Tales That Were Told) that is a sequel to another story I'm still currently writing (Tales That Were Lived). It's hard to summarize, but essentially the main story is an adventure dealing with three characters and a fantasy world where they're all coming to terms with finding themselves and learning to love who they are despite where they may come from. In Tales Told, I intend for this story to have like relationship shit, but the relationship is two men *gasp*. It's not gonna be some weirdly specific thing; no, they're just two kids who have a crush on each other while other shit in the world is going on. Revolutionary concept I know.

Unnamed erotica (unedited, 40k wc with a planned sequel at 10k currently)

it has a name, but I don't really like it :(

I was a little iffy about writing this one at first because I'm the type of person who's extremely tired of queer media just being softcore porn. I just want a good story and the characters happen to be gay. But, I also know it's important to write stories like these as well to show all the different sides and to show people that there's not much different about anyone who happens to be lgbt. In this story, my MC Kit is a famous voice actor (like Johnny Young Bosch) and is a total asshole that everyone is scared shitless of. His soon to be boyfriend is a lovestruck puppy boy childhood friend who is desperate to be with him. He's so sweet it's almost sickening! They deal with normal relationship issues, societal problems, workplace harassment, as well as their own personal issues and some of their issues are even from each other. scandalous. Kit as the MC has a million and one issues within himself (including some from his family), but his loverboy is right there to help him! Also, here's another summary I wrote for this on my website that better explains the origin of the story.

I Just Remembered Something I Wanted To Do.

Stories with queer characters

Orange Perfect (unfinished at 21k)

This is had a few mentions of queerness in it. A quick summary: this is a coming-of-age story where three kids (Cassie, Lucius, and Shay) are forced to become friends after all getting targeted by a gang. The MC named Shay is discovering himself. He doesn't know if he's gay, bi, non-binary, gender non-conforming, etc... and is conflicted about his various feelings as he wishes he had a simpler answer for how he feels. Another important character is a trans man (Gabe) who acts as a physical representation of Cassie's own realization of who she wants to be. It's tough for her to live as herself, so Gabe eventually reveals to her that he is a trans man. That his struggles to realize who he really was changed once he accepted himself. As well, he wants her to be different from himself as he's still living partially in the dark since very few people know he's trans.

Any story that has one character named Ren in it (too many to count)

Ren is my MCs twin brother (whenever I want her to have a twin brother) and he is always in a relationship with another character named Mari who I originally made as a trap (I was like twelve). Now a days, Mari is just best described as a twink, but I like his name too much to change it. So that part of the "trap" still exists. Ren is full on gay and screams it from the rooftops as he expresses his interest in men quite often. He's not a flamboyant gay, but he will openly tell people he has no romantic or sexual interest in women and isn't shy to kiss his boyfriend in public. Oh and bonus that women often like him and he has a ton of female friends.

The Entire Fourth Dimension Reality series (total wc of ~100k)

Aside from this story being one long shit post I thoroughly loved making. One of the secondary main characters is suppose to be pansexual. Why this is, is because she only interacts with the other three main characters because she finds them cute (one girl and two guys). Now, she's actually pan for a reason. It's mainly due to her family that made her desire to be loved by everyone around her. This manifested into her just liking anything that would show her affection. (dw Mandy, I love you💗) One of the villains I made to be feminine presenting because he was really pretty in my head when I first developed him. He was going to be genderless, but I decided to make him more feminine and most of that is just with his appearance, but he is defined as a man and acts as so, he just happens to have traditional female attire and mannerisms :)

All The Screams (unedited at 61k)

So, the main point of this story is about Cassie who ends up finding out that she's cursed, but she only does so after going on a mission to escort the prince of her kingdom to his lover. This mission is kept secret and why lies in who this lover is. It's a prince from another Kingdom. Kyo, the prince of Cassie's kingdom, is a little selfish brat who wants what he wants. He fell in love with another kingdom's prince and immediately chose him over his kingdom. With the other prince, his parents are actually gay as well and I made this story around the time I was heavily into yaoi and BL so that may have been an influence as to why tons of characters in this story are gay or why there's major plot points relating to it.

Characters that are iffy/I didn't plan to be queer

The State of Quandary (unfinished with ~60k)/ Before the Reignfall (finished with 45k)

Technically this involves two characters. One of the MCs (Fang) and the MCs friend (Dani) are in the same boat. Originally, Dani was suppose to have a crush on the other MC (Cassie), and that was suppose to explain why Dani even interacts with her in the first place and why they have such a close friendship. However, it felt queerbaity and I felt gross having that as a plot point when it's so obvious Cassie will never even get close to having romantic feelings for Dani. Then, I thought to have Dani be a lesbian because she has trauma with men and dislikes most, if not all, grown men in the world. Fang was the remedy with that as I thought to make them be in a relationship as Fang would be the first guy she ever met who isn't a total loser. However, Fang was originally going to be involved in a love triangle before I realized there's a bit to many conflicts in the story and got rid of it. So, I ended up in a gray area where Fang also doesn't show any interest in women (the result of the love triangle being removed) So, this was my fix. People can either think Fang and Dani are cute together and he manages to break through her trauma, people can think they're both gay and just show no romantic interest in the opposite sex, or their romantic feelings for anyone just isn't important to the story whatsoever. And tbh, I don't mind any one of those options. It's cool when there's different ways to interpret character relationships and it won't lead to fans fighting each other if even I don't really know what it is.

Tales That Were Told (Unfinished at ~90k words)

This villain is a doozy. Their name is Gage and when I first made this character, I pretty much was going to make a woman. However, when I started writing the story, she turned into a he and not even in a way like I intended to change the gender, but even now whenever I write Gage, they're a he. When I think of Gage, they're a she. I don't know what that's about, but even my mental image of Gage is that of both a woman and a man. (If anything, they're comparable to Leo from Tekken). So, to fix this in my head, out loud I refer to Gage as a he. I think of Gage as a she. In the story, the narrator doesn't use any pronoun and characters have conflicting usage as most characters refer to Gage as a he, but there are some who see Gage as a she or simply they/them. Oh, and no, just because Gage might be non-binary, that's not why they're evil. It's not even a plot point in the story. No vilifying personality traits over here lol

Unfinished/unplotted stories with queer plotlines

Unnamed romance (Pink and Brown)

I showcased a snipit of this story (also thanks for everyone who liked it 💕), but there's more to it than what I shared. Back when I actually had a friend, I used to tell him about ideas I had, then he would pretty much allow me to figure out what I wanted to do with it. I told him I wanted to make a story with these two girls I made in a picrew because they were so adorable and they ended up as a couple. I couldn't think of a name so they were named Pink and Brown based on their hair colors. I also couldn't think of the official story I wanted them to have. So, I simply came up with two of them. The first story is a slice of life where Brown and Pink are both in college (for IT and Art respectively) and Brown has a huge crush on two girls--one she knows through mutual friends and another being the artists of a webcomic she really loves. (I'm sure this isn't obvious at all). So, one day, Brown gets a call from Pink and she's really stressed out about something. Eventually, she explains she called her since an IT major could help her with someone hacking one of her social media accounts. Brown agrees and when she finds out what the account is, she's shocked to see that Pink is the artist of the webcomic she's been reading for years. I don't even have a damn conflict in this story so it is dead in the water. I'm sure I'll get some idea for it, but knowing me that'll be years from now, unfortunately. Oh, and the snipit I shared is suppose to be the comic Pink is drawing acted as an AU of the original story (if that makes any fucking sense)

Unnamed romance (Idol x non-idol)

This one feels like a fever dream because I don't even remember why I came up with it. Anyways, this is suppose to be a slight extension of the erotica. This is another famous person who ends up falling for an accountant after a random encounter he had with him after a concert. The accountant doesn't want to be involved with this celeb for several reasons, but mainly because he's known to sleep around. The celeb is determined and pretty much forces them to have a relationship by hiring him as his new money manager. He pretty much gets him fired from his old job and... that's all I thought of. It's suppose to end up being really cute as the celeb eventually reveals the kind of person he really is, but what that is, I'm not really sure.

Random Tangent

Now that I'm writing this, it does make me think about an abandoned story I wrote where a failing manager falls in love with a client who essentially saves him from losing his career. The erotica and it's extension are already related, and this other unnamed story (I'll call it The Client for now) had a connection as well. Real quick, all these stories are connected to Orange Perfect through Cassie and other relationships. Without giving away major spoilers (just in case) Cassie ends up as someone very influential in the media world by the end. As a college age girl, she's meeting with the Celeb and the Accountant; and, at some point in her journey, she meets and works with the Manager in The Client. Kit knows a ton of people in the industry and knows the Celeb, the Manager, and Cassie who he has a business relationship with. So, it's easy for me to add Pink. Pink could eventually be offered a contract to a major publication, and cross paths with Cassie through some means. There's even a chance for Kit to voice any character in her webcomic, the celeb to make music for it, and even the manager could help her somehow. Sometimes I get really good ideas for things that just are not possible. I would love to have these five stories apart of a collection in this "reality" I made up for them. Ugh. It sucks to not have this as my actual job. Anyways, I thought it would be kind of cool to have all these stories be related.

That might not be everyone, but I often use queer elements in my story so, who knows, maybe I'll update this in the future with more!

But, thanks for reading if you did~🍂

Here's something else. Sorry if this is a little confusing, but the creature that I drew before isn't related to this planet at all.

I don't have a name for this because that is the one thing I suck at when it comes to worldbuilding.

But, this is the setting for a new story I'm writing!

I'll probably share more on it with another post I'm making, so look forward to it if you're interested.

But I wanted to detail some things about this planet, so let's begin 😁

Here's Something Else. Sorry If This Is A Little Confusing, But The Creature That I Drew Before Isn't

Basic concepts

So, I wanted to do something that wasn't the typical fantasy Huge Ass Grass Field™ so I sat and came up with a really annoying concept that hurt my brain when I first made it.

That was essentially this:

Hell as the Ice world

The Ice World as a hot area

The Jungle as a desert

And lastly the desert as a jungle

From there, I came up with this concept that the planet is split into two halves. Two surface halves and two core halves. Inhabitants of each area have their own unique characteristics and usually don't intermingle. Kind of like states, counties, regions, or provinces. I decided to call them regions for reference.

Students (which aren't kids) of these regions eventually have to expand their horizons and either take up an occupation in their origin region or leave and expand their studies outside their region.

In this case, my MCs are the latter and are leaving their home region to explore the surface.

Characteristics

Since these regions are unnamed, I'll refer to them by their basic comparisons.

Here's Something Else. Sorry If This Is A Little Confusing, But The Creature That I Drew Before Isn't

The surface

This half is a temperate iceland.

Characterized by it's massive icebergs/icicles. Inhabitants live on the very top of the icicles in order to stay close to the sun.

However, the surface isn't a frozen wasteland like it appears. The surface is actually warmer than the sky, but there's no way to grow anything on the surface as the ground is perpetually frozen. So, the Ice inhabitants remain in the sky instead.

The Core

A Frozen Hellscape

This half is colder than the surface due to the pockets of magma being closer to the surface. These pockets of magma are the core's only source of light. (I just though of this. Since the magma would be between the icicles, the ice would refract the light and in my head that sounds so pretty!)

Having an abundance of almost everything makes this region the most prosperous.

They have everything from food, jewels, gems, precious metals, and other natural resources.

Here's Something Else. Sorry If This Is A Little Confusing, But The Creature That I Drew Before Isn't

Second Surface

This world's desert.

The tree is so big that it completely covers the entire surface on it's side. Making the ground below it devoid of sunlight.

I compared it to something like a farmer's crop field with no crops and just plowed soil.

However, the tree acts as the inhabitant's only source of food. This tree can grow any and all kinds of fruit, it also protects from natural disasters and is home to the world's largest collections of animals and bugs.

Second Core

This one's my favorite.

A tangle jungle.

Consisting of the roots from the surface tree, the inhabitants live within the roots system. The roots are so huge that buildings can be built on them.

The roots are searching for water that seeps into the ground from the Hell Core above it, but the roots can't go any further as they'll freeze.

Every location does have a kind of relationship and the cores well get along as the surfaces do. There is a bit of discrimination from everyone as most core dwellers think surface dwellers are soft and weak while surface dwellers believe those in the core are brutish and vile.

It's nothing major, just your typical region skirmish.

This is a recent WIP of mine, so I don't have much more to add but that, but I do have a bunch of facts in my head, so, if you wanna ask about something, I'd be more than happy to answer anything!

Other than that, thanks for reading~ 🍂

So this is also a character I made the same night I made Jubell.

They're not related, but it's amazing how me being annoyed allows me to create exactly what I was looking for.

So this is Nythan (pronounced exactly like Nathan), and he's a big emo boi!

So This Is Also A Character I Made The Same Night I Made Jubell.

He's one of characters in a new story I'm making and because I was able to draw this, I'll share a bit abiut him and the story.

This is connected to my worldbuilding post about a really weird planet I made. So, read that if you wanna know a bit more.

As for him, I can't say too much as it'll spoil his role in the story, but he's suppose to be very apprehensive towards everyone. I always love writing characters like this because I get to be an annoying asshole on purpose.

I actually wasn't sure I was gonna be able to draw his hair how I wanted because I'm learning how to draw afro styles and I'm not the best at many of them or any at all. This came out perfect though and I'm extremely happy that I got the look for him I wanted!

Also, I actually based him off of the protag from Persona 3, Makoto(?) (I recently played Persona 5 Royal and pretty much fell in love with his design in the challenge battles).

He's also suppose to be very edgy like Shadow the Hedgehog because I have yet to write a character like that.

Once I have more of the story done, I'll share some more!

Random dead wip

A swing and a tap Swing and tap I got sucked in a TV and I went splat When my head came up I saw his face The face that I assumed was doom It was the devil Or at least what I they taught was But he told me something He told me "I know you can help me" And that's my eyes were blinded Indeed, it was too bright. If this was uptopia it didn't feel like it Was I siding with the devil? Or was I exposing the truth? Well, I won't know unless I take his hand. After all, I don't have a soul to lose.

So, this is a random poem(?) that popped in my head about a super old wip of mine. The story is about a young girl in the 40s or 50s who gets sucked into a TV by a cartoon villain (who I just call the Devil) and he insists on getting her help to fix his world. His world is crumbling because the good guys are actually destroying the foundation of their world by ridding the world of every evil imaginable.

Half the story was suppose to take place in the cartoon world and the other half was going to be in the real world with the Devil helping the MC in her world since the exact opposite is happening. They end up agreeing to do evil to stop evil in the real world.

too bad I can't bring myself to write this cool idea

Not sure if I shared this already, but this is pretty much just a reblog if I did :p

Anyways, this is actually a drawing I'm not afraid to shared!

It's from a old unfinished dystopia in which Cassie (left) has the ability to shape reality. Curil (right) ends up involved by a means he doesn't fully know or understand.

Neither of the two get why they were chosen after the world essentially ended, but their journey should answer some questions.

Not Sure If I Shared This Already, But This Is Pretty Much Just A Reblog If I Did :p

Best thing about this is the fact that the lack of color work here. When I was writing this story, it appeared in black and white or monotone for one reason or another.

Ideas I'm never going to make

So, I have a lot of ideas I am never going to write because they're not my style. So, instead of never talking about them, I'll leave them here to maybe give some inspiration to others. Most of these ideas are 1-5 years old with a handful being over ten years old and I would love to see them written, I just have no drive to write them.

Don't know how often I'll do this, but don't worry I get a ton of ideas that never go anywhere, so I'm sure there will be more!

Onto the ideas:

A dystopia where only two people actually exist, like actually. The planet and everything on it is destroyed and by the end, it's revealed the other party caused this to happen so they could be alone with the other survivor (romantic or platonic).

A passionate romance where the two parties are dangerously obsessed with each other. It starts where only one party seems dangerous, but is revealed later on they both are. Knowing this is bad, they decide to embrace those feelings for a short time to hopefully get it out of their system.

Two enemies end up stranded together. The injured party is cautious when the healthy is trying to help them. It's revealed later that their bosses were conspiring together to kill the pair.

A mature magical girl. It's still your normal Sailor Moon, but the MC is an adult with children. Specific to what I outlined, her husband was kidnapped because of his research and she gains magical powers to go and save him.

The origin story of a pirate girl. She starts off apart of a fairly kind crew, but she wants to make a name for herself and leaves only to find a mythical being of some kind and be cursed to travel with them. In my case, it was a grim reaper.

A vampire and a vampire hunter who end up on bad (putting it lightly) terms after the hunter assumes the vampire killed their newborn child. Plot twist for me was it was actually the hunter's father and the vampire had to find a way to prove it.

A detective agency that is the center of mysterious murders. Their agency is accused of killing their detainees as anyone who goes in never comes out. Is the killer one of the detectives or is the killer just trying to frame them? The setting for me ended up where the whole group was trapped in the police department like Resident Evil 2 almost.

This one is about to be ten years old and has more detail than the others. Two kids (in about the Gothic Era) go to a toy maker's shop. This is to pick up a toy before their families embark on a long trip somewhere. The toy maker is a mysterious man, but one of his toys end up cursing the children to age backwards. In this reality, objects hold memories so they're told by the toy maker to find objects that have sentimental value as that will maintain their age until they can rid of the curse.

The tale of a sun deity and moon deity creating the sun and moon cycle. The moon was a shy anxious child and the sun was a bright cheerful child for me.

An unassuming tale of a newly wed prince and princess where the story begins as "normal" until night falls and the prince is unable to stay awake. His princess then undergoes her own form of unconsciousness where her daytime "Princess Peach" version is switched for a warrior "Biscuit Krueger" version. Who is duty bound to protect her sleeping beauty. This transformation is similar to Greed and Ling from FMA:B where there's two souls inhabiting one body.

I actually had way more than I thought, so I'm gonna cap it at ten -_-;

Thanks for reading and here's to hoping one day I can read these ideas in their entirety~ 🍂

I don't think I've shared this with anyone besides a friend I don't really talk to anymore; and while I feel extremely nervous sharing them, I'll think I'll ease that by expressing the fact that I'm not an artist. I have been self teaching myself how to draw for years, so if this looks kind of bad, that's why.

Anyways, I obviously like it enough to share, so I am very proud of my work regardless.

That aside, I wanted to detail this story before sharing everything I did for it (I guess this'll be a short series about everything I drew for it).

A Fourth Dimension Reality is a series of books I'm writing about two inter-dimensional kids trying to find out what dimension they're actually apart of. Along the way, they meet other people who are integral to their goal. Each of these characters will be introduced as I go along.

Now, as for the real world logic, I wrote this story after me and that friend were talking about how some shows that are suppose to be comedy/satire lost that along the way.

So, I was determined to make a story where that stays intact even in the finale. Essentially, this is a long shit post that needs to be stopped, but it's still going well into five books with a unfinished total of 100k and seven books officially planned.

Each book ranges from 23k-30k and no book is any longer... yet

So, anyways, here's the actual cover of the first book (I have two more made).

I Don't Think I've Shared This With Anyone Besides A Friend I Don't Really Talk To Anymore; And While

Later on though I ended up drawing something goofy where all the characters find a dimension that does space tours. That was my excuse as to why they don't have shoes (because you don't want to get the dimension dirty do you?)

I Don't Think I've Shared This With Anyone Besides A Friend I Don't Really Talk To Anymore; And While

But this is everyone and presents their personalities pretty well. I'll showcase them separately over the next few days.

For now, this is perfect showcase of this story:

“So this means no one can hear me scream!” Cassie used all of her breath in that howl. Larson groaned and went to hit her, but she moved out of the way and spun slowly in the air. “I can dodge you better out here.” She mocked.

With a growl, Larson said, “this isn’t some kind of joke. We need to do what Jax said.”

“Yeah, yeah whatever.” She dismissed his comment. “We’ll get there eventually, let’s just have a little fun!”

Larson just stared at Cassie as she continued to spin around happily.

He was brought back to reality when he felt his phone vibrate. “Oh, I forgot,” he answered it swiftly, “you can hear me right?”

Back on Earth, Jax could clearly hear them through the phone. “I’m surprised that it even works! I really didn't think it would.” He said with amazement present in his voice.

“Yeah, doubt me, why don’t you.” Jax laughed at Larson’s remark. “But I’ll try a video call now.”

“Alright.”

Larson was about to press the button when he saw Cassie still spinning around in front of him; he sighed and turned on the video call. Once it came up, he saw a smile grow to Jax’s face.

“So it does work, great.” Jax paused. “Cassie!” He called out.

“Yeah?” She said while turning to look in their direction.

“The video call works.” Jax announced.

“Okay!” She began to slow her spinning down.

Cassie took out her own phone and called Jax once more. She put it on the video call and stuffed the phone inside of her bag. She zipped it closed and turned to Larson.

“Okay, I can see him, so that means we’re good! I’m screen recording so you guys can do whatever you have to.”

“You don’t have to tell me that,” Larson said.

Cassie huffed. “Stop being so mean. Anyways, we will Jax!” Cassie confirmed.

“Good luck you two!”

With their method of documentation set, they started putting their plan into action. Larson slowly moved over to Cassie.

“Stop acting like a kid and let’s get to work.” He snapped at her.

“You’re so boring. We’re in space dude! We can breathe without astronaut helmets, why not live a little, Lars?”

“Maybe on our next trip.” Larson went ahead and turned back once he was a small distance away from her.

From his jacket pocket, he pulled out the rope he brought. Needing to be as air resistant as possible, he couldn’t carry a bag with him, instead he just already tied the rope around himself and stuffed the other end into his jacket pocket. He pulled out the other end and threw it to Cassie for her to grab. Cassie caught it and was now being pulled by Larson.

Once she was in front of him, Cassie pulled him. Their motions created a way for them to move about in space with the most amount of ease. After a few minutes of their maneuvering, Cassie let out a sigh.

“See, this is all business,” Cassie said with a pout.

“Yeah, yeah. Looking like a bitch doesn’t help you.”

“At least you used the right word, but I wasn’t trying to give you puppy dog eyes.”

They remained pulling each other in a still silence. This was maintained until they could finally see Pluto. Cassie giggled as she stared at it.

“Oh it’s so cute!” She paused. “Do you really think anyone will be there?”

“I don’t know, but if we do find someone it would be better to stick together.”

“I wonder if it’s like a superman thing.” Cassie started to talk about something else. “Like we’re stronger because we were on Earth for so long.”

Larson scoffed. “If anything, being on earth made us weaker.”

“See, I don’t think like that,” Cassie began, “I really feel like we’re stronger because we’ve been exposed to different mindsets and then we’re going to learn this one. So by default, we’ll be smarter!”

“Always on the bright side huh?”

Cassie giggled.

Also, fun fact: I'm so bad at spelling I kept writing Dimension as Dimention and I still don't really know if I'm spelling it right😃

They kept pulling each other until they were caught into the gravitational pull of Pluto and were able to land...

Now, it's time to introduce the characters!

First up, is my main main character

Larson "has a last name but doesn't want to share it"

Previous Post

Larson is a young man who regularly hates people. At first he thought these were just his normal feelings, but he finds out it's actually because he's not even a human, so of course he hates humans!

Well, Larson hates everyone but humans have a special place at the top. His high school career has him spending most his time trying to find any information about his real species.

When his work is left stagnant, that's when he meets someone he didn't expect to.

Here's a scene to showcase his wonderful personality

At the moment, they were at lunch ready to discuss their ideas. Cassie was sitting at the lunch table with her plate full of foods that weren’t good for anyone, including herself. She wiped her hands clean of the bright orange grease from the pizza she finished and now, she was currently eating a sandwich from her lunch bag.

She munched on this food while Larson told her their best odds.

“I don’t know if you can hear me over all that noise you’re making, but if this is screwed up, I won’t think to leave you in a heartbeat.”

Cassie swallowed what she was eating and spoke. “You must really think I’m not in this the same way you are. Look, just because I’m not frowning and getting my big girl pants on doesn’t mean I’m not serious.”

“Could have fooled the hell out of me.” Cassie ignored that and moved her tray over to him. “Why?” Was all he said.

“I’m offering you some. You don’t eat at all, at least whenever I see you, you’re not.”

“Because we don’t get hungry often.”

“I know, but we still have to eat so why not just eat anyways?”

“I eat when I have to. Nothing more.” Larson stated.

Cassie snickered. “You must eat like a salad and some water huh?” Larson grabbed her wrist right before she was about to eat something causing Cassie to drop it. Her other hand grabbed it before she complained to him. “I must be right if you thought to do that.”

He let her hand go and rested his head in his hand. “You’re so fucking annoying.”

“Thank you!” Cassie returned to eating, but stopped suddenly and looked behind Larson.

He turned his head—curious by what she was looking at—and he saw a girl smiling at them both.

Larson groaned. “What do you want?” He turned back to face Cassie.

Cassie looked at the girl and offered her an apologetic smile.

“Uh, well, I wanted to invite you two to a party I’m throwing…” she trailed, “it’s kind of far from here so if you don’t have a ride-”

“We’re good,” Larson said cutting her off.

“B-but, you can bring each other if you want!” The girl pleaded.

Larson opened his eyes and looked at Cassie. Cassie just kept eating without saying a word. He then sighed and got up facing the girl.

“I know what kind of angle you’re trying to pull here, but I’m not interested in spilling my seed in some worthless being. Not even her,” he said pointing behind him at Cassie.

“Ew.” Cassie mumbled.

The girl's eyes widened. “I-I wasn’t asking you to-”

“Really?” The girl pressed her lips together to Larson's comment. “I mean besides the fact that you always stare at me, you’ve slept with pretty much half the school. So I must be next on the list, huh?”

The girl’s mouth opened and she just took off to the door of the cafeteria. Larson scoffed and sat back down.

Cassie stared at him for a while and eventually Larson let out a groan. “I’ll gouge your eyes out if you keep staring at me like that.”

Cassie clicked her tongue. “See? Like that.”

“What are you talking about now?” He was exhausted.

“You could have declined her in a more… human way.”

Larson watched as Cassie reached for more food. He sighed and spoke while putting his elbow up to rest on the table. “If I did that, then I’d be leading her on and I don’t have the slightest intention of doing that.”

“You wouldn’t be leading her on if you just said you’re not interested.”

“Yes I would. Humans always think there’s a chance for them to get one in just as long as you’re not taken.”

Cassie just shook her head, “speaking of which; not that I want that, but why aren’t I ‘worthy’ of your seed?” She then laughed at herself after saying that, Larson just stared at her. “Okay, I’m sorry, but I still want an answer.”

Larson sighed. “It’s pointless either way. So I told myself I’d never reproduce.” He simply stated.

“Why?”

“I just said why!” He grew agitated.

“Okay, maybe it’s pointless, but wouldn’t you want to see what a little you would look like?” She spoke happily at the idea.

“Yeah, my parents have baby pictures.”

“Boo, you’re no fun.”

Not so fun fact: That friend of mine told me Cassie was annoying and I should change it, someone else did as well and it made me sad (though I never told them that) but then I thought about other characters like this and realized they only thought she was annoying because she was a girl. Prime evidence: Spongebob from season 1-4 was "annoying" but we liked him for that. Also, they didn't find Larson in need for a change despite my intent to make him unbearably mean sooooo idk I think their bias was showing.

Fun fact: Larson gets some scars on his face at the end of the 1st book, so if I ever draw more, he's suppose to have scars, but I forgor sometimes.
